Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens assembly capable of preventing dust produced due to sliding of screw parts during focus adjustment after assembly from infiltrating into a sensor side even when the screw parts screwing each other are provided both on a lens frame and a holder respectively, and to provide a photographing device equipped with the lens assembly.
SOLUTION: The lens frame 11 is inserted from an opening on the end face on the sensor 12 side of the holder 10. By making the outside shape of a portion on an emitting side larger than the outside shape of the male screw part 111 of the lens frame 11, the dust is prevented from infiltrating into the sensor 12 side even when the dust is produced due to the sliding of the screw parts in the midst of performing the focus adjustment by screwing and advancing the lens frame 11 or screwing and retracting the lens frame 11.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a lens assembly in which an imaging lens that forms an image of subject light on a sensor is incorporated, and an imaging apparatus including the lens assembly.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a lens assembly in which an imaging lens for imaging subject light on a sensor such as an imaging element is incorporated is known. In such a lens assembly, the lens frame and the holder are each provided with a male screw and a female screw that are precisely screwed, thereby simplifying the structure of the engaging portion between the holder and the lens frame. In addition, there is one that can easily adjust the optical axis by screwing a lens frame into a holder. Since such a lens assembly can be miniaturized, it is expected to be mounted on a portable device that is becoming increasingly smaller and thinner, and the holder has a dust-proof structure by screwing a precision screw. Therefore, application to in-vehicle cameras installed outside the vehicle is expected.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the configuration of the lens assembly.

The lens assembly 2 shown in FIG. 1 includes a holder 20, a lens frame 21 in which an imaging lens 210 is built, and an imaging element 22A that forms an image of subject light captured by the imaging lens 210 in the lens frame 21. ing. A cover glass 22B for protecting the image sensor 22A is provided above the image sensor 22A. The lens frame 21 is provided with a male screw portion 211, and the holder 20 is provided with a female screw portion 201 that is screwed into the male screw portion 211. In this example, since the cover glass 22B is configured to be held by another holder 22C together with the image sensor 22A, the other holder 22C and the cover glass 22B held by the holder 22C constitute a sensor. The sensor 22 includes the image sensor 22A, the cover glass 22B, and the holder 22C.

When the lens assembly 2 having such a configuration is assembled, the sensor 22 is first assembled so as to block the rear end surface of the holder 20, and then the front end surface of the holder 20, that is, the side opposite to the side where the sensor 22 is present. Then, the lens frame 21 is screwed in, and the male screw portion 211 of the lens frame 21 is screwed into the female screw portion 201 of the holder 20, whereby the lens assembly 2 is easily assembled.

Furthermore, after the assembly is completed, the lens frame 21 is screwed or screwed in the direction of the optical axis so that the focus adjustment is performed easily and accurately.

However, in the above configuration, dust is generated by sliding between the male screw portion 211 and the female screw portion 201 during the focus adjustment by screwing the lens frame 21 back and forth with respect to the optical axis. The generated dust may fall to the sensor 22 side. When dust falls to the sensor 22 side and adheres to the cover glass 22B constituting the sensor 22, dust acts as a light shielding member, which adversely affects the image formed on the image sensor 22A constituting the sensor 22. End up.

Patent Document 1 proposes a technique for preventing the entry of dust into the holder by providing a screw on the outer periphery of the holder. However, when this technique is applied, the holder becomes large.
JP 2006-338026 A

The present invention solves the above-described problems, and even if a screw part that is screwed to the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame and the inner peripheral surface of the holder is provided, dust generated due to sliding of the screw part during focus adjustment after assembly. It is an object of the present invention to provide a small lens assembly that does not enter the sensor side, and a photographing apparatus including the lens assembly.

The lens assembly of the present invention that achieves the above object has an opening on the front end surface and the rear end surface, and a holder having a hollow that penetrates both the openings,
A sensor that closes the opening of the rear end face and that receives the subject light incident through the opening of the front end face and generates an image signal;
An imaging lens that forms an image of subject light on the sensor;
A lens frame surrounding the imaging lens and holding the imaging lens;
The lens frame is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame, and is formed on the light exit side of the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame and the male screw portion screwed into the hollow inner wall of the holder. A cylindrical outer wall portion in contact with or close to the hollow inner wall of the holder,
The holder has a female screw part into which the male screw part is screwed into the inner wall, and a cylindrical inner wall part that is in contact with or close to the cylindrical outer wall part.

According to the lens assembly of the present invention, the lens frame includes a male screw part that is screwed into the female screw part of the holder, and the hollow of the holder is formed on the emission side from the male screw part. A cylindrical outer wall portion in contact with or close to the inner wall is provided.

When the cylindrical outer wall portion of the lens frame is in contact with or close to the hollow inner wall of the holder, the dust entrance path to the sensor side can be cut off or made extremely thin by the cylindrical outer wall portion and the hollow inner wall. Even if focus adjustment is performed by screwing the male screw part into the female screw part and moving the lens frame forward and backward with respect to the sensor, dust generated by sliding between the male screw and the female screw falls to the sensor side. It becomes difficult.

Here, the cylindrical outer wall portion is formed with a larger diameter than the groove bottom of the male screw portion,
It is preferable that the holder is configured to receive the lens frame from the opening on the rear end surface into the sensor assembly.

With the above configuration, instead of attaching to the holder by attaching the lens frame from the front end surface of the holder, that is, the subject side and screwing the lens frame as in the conventional case, the opening or sensor on the rear end surface of the holder The lens frame is inserted from the side and screwed to attach to the holder.

When the lens frame is inserted through the opening on the rear end surface in this way, the diameter of the cylindrical outer wall portion formed on the exit side of the male screw portion of the lens frame is made larger than the groove bottom of the male screw portion. Therefore, dust generated at the screw portion can be received where the cylindrical outer wall portion has a large diameter, and the dust is completely prevented from entering the sensor side.

In addition, a photographing apparatus of the present invention that achieves the above object includes the lens assembly of the present invention and an image sensor.

If it does so, it will become possible to achieve size reduction of an imaging device by incorporating the small lens assembly of the present invention into an imaging device.

As described above, even if a screw portion that is screwed to both the lens frame and the holder is provided, dust generated by sliding of the screw portion does not enter the sensor side during focus adjustment after assembly. A small lens assembly and a photographing apparatus including the lens assembly are realized.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 2 is a view showing an appearance of a camera-equipped mobile phone 3 as an example of a photographing apparatus in which the lens assembly 1 of the present invention and an image sensor are incorporated. The lens assembly of the present invention is used at the lens 110 of the camera-equipped mobile phone 3 shown in FIG.

FIG. 3 is a view showing a lens assembly 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. 4 is an exploded view of the lens assembly 1 of FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 is a side view of the lens frame 10, the holder 11, and the sensor 12 in the exploded view of FIG. It is.

The configuration will be briefly described with reference to FIGS.

A lens 110 having a four-group configuration is accommodated in the holder 10 of the lens assembly 1 shown in FIG. In the example of FIG. 3, a male screw portion 111 is provided on the lens frame 11 and screwed on the male screw portion 111 in the holder 10 for both the purpose of achieving downsizing and simplifying assembly. The mating female screw portion 101 is provided, and the lens assembly 1 can be assembled by screwing the lens frame 11 into the holder 10.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the holder 10 has openings in the front end face 10 </ b> A and the rear end face 10 </ b> B, and has a hollow that penetrates both openings. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, a lens frame 11 that holds lenses of a four-group configuration is screwed into the hollow portion of the holder 10. Further, a holder 12A is provided on the side opposite to the holder 10, and the above-described cover glass 12B and the image sensor 12C are held inside the other holder 12A. That is, the holder 12A, the cover glass 12B, and the image sensor 12C constitute an example of the sensor 12 according to the present invention.

The sensor 12 is disposed so as to close the opening on the rear end surface of the holder 10, and subject light incident through the opening on the front end surface of the holder 10 is received by the image sensor 12 C in the sensor 12, and the image sensor 12 C Thus, an image signal is generated.

Here, the configuration of the lens assembly 1 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the lens assembly 1 includes a lens frame 11 that surrounds an imaging lens 110 that forms an image of subject light on an imaging device 12 </ b> C that constitutes the sensor 12 and holds the imaging lens 110. It has been. A male screw part 111 to be screwed into the hollow inner wall of the holder 10 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame 11, and the holder is located closer to the emission side of the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame than the male screw part 111. A cylindrical outer wall portion 112 is formed in contact with or close to the ten hollow inner walls.

On the other hand, the holder 10 is provided with a female screw portion 101 into which the male screw portion 111 is screwed, and a cylindrical inner wall portion 102 in contact with or close to the cylindrical outer wall portion 112.

The cylindrical outer wall portion 112 of the lens frame 11 is formed to have a diameter larger than the groove bottom of the male screw portion 111, and the holder 10 is arranged so that the lens frame 11 is placed behind the holder 10 as shown in FIGS. It is received from the opening of the end face.

The operation will be described in an easy-to-understand manner with reference to FIG.

FIG. 6 is a view of the holder 10 of FIG. 4 as viewed obliquely from the upper left, and a view of the cut surface taken along line DD in FIG. 4 as viewed from the side.

As can be seen from FIG. 6, a male screw portion 111 to be screwed into the hollow inner wall of the holder 10 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame 11, and from the male screw portion 111 on the outer peripheral surface of the lens frame. Also on the exit side, a cylindrical outer wall portion 112 that is in contact with or close to the hollow inner wall 102 of the holder 10 is provided. On the other hand, the holder 10 is provided with a female screw portion 101 into which the male screw portion 111 is screwed, and a cylindrical inner wall portion 102 in contact with or close to the cylindrical outer wall portion 112.

Furthermore, the cylindrical outer wall portion 112 of the lens frame 11 is formed to have a larger diameter than the groove bottom of the male screw portion 111, and the holder 10 receives the lens frame 11 from the opening on the rear end surface of the holder 10.

In other words, in the past, the lens frame 11 was inserted from the front end surface side of the holder 10, that is, from the subject side. However, in the present invention, the lens frame 11 is inserted from the rear end surface side of the holder 10. 11, the diameter of the cylindrical outer wall portion 112 can be made larger than the diameter of the groove bottom of the male screw portion 111.

If the cylindrical outer wall portion 112 larger than the diameter of the male screw portion 111 can be configured in this way, the lens frame 11 is screwed or screwed to adjust the focus by sliding the screw portion. Even if dust is generated, dust can be received at the cylindrical outer wall portion 112, and entry of dust to the sensor side located on the exit side of the lens is prevented.

As described above, even if a screw part that is screwed to both the lens frame and the holder is provided, dust that is generated by sliding of the screw part in the focus adjustment after assembly does not enter the sensor side. Assembly is realized.

When such a lens assembly is realized, it can be mounted on portable devices that are becoming smaller and thinner, and a structure that prevents dust from entering the holder by screwing precision screws is realized. Therefore, application as an in-vehicle lens is also expected.

It is a figure which shows the structure of the conventional lens assembly. It is a figure which shows the external appearance of the mobile telephone 3 with a camera which is an example of the imaging device incorporating the lens assembly 1 and image pick-up element of this invention. It is an external view of the lens assembly which is one Embodiment of this invention. FIG. 3 is an exploded view of the lens assembly of FIG. 2. It is the side view which looked at the lens frame, the 1st holder, and the 2nd holder in the exploded view of Drawing 3 from the lower left. It is the figure which looked at the holder 10 of FIG. 3 from diagonally upper left, and the figure which cut | disconnected the figure by the DD line | wire in a figure, and looked from the side.
