Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel injection control device for a diesel engine, and more particularly to a fuel injection control device for a diesel engine that controls a first fuel injection command immediately after cranking when the engine is started.
In the conventional fuel injection control device as described above, fuel injection is started immediately after cranking, and the time from immediately after cranking to the start of fuel injection is not controlled. Further, when fuel is injected into the combustion chamber at a low temperature in the combustion chamber immediately after cranking, the fuel cannot be sufficiently evaporated, and a large amount of fuel that does not contribute to combustion stays in the combustion chamber. When ignition is performed thereafter, the fuel remaining in the combustion chamber is discharged from the combustion chamber all at once, so that a large amount of white smoke is generated immediately after the engine is started.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and is a diesel engine fuel that can control the initial fuel injection timing and reduce the amount of white smoke generated in large quantities immediately after the engine is started. Next, embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of a fuel injection control device for a diesel engine according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 1, a fuel
A
The
The
Next, fuel injection control when starting the engine will be described.
FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing the contents of the fuel injection control in the first embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 2, in a state where the main power supply of
The cylinder having the highest intake air temperature is the cylinder closest to the means for warming the intake air when the engine is started at a low temperature. For example, when a plurality of cylinders are arranged in series as in this embodiment, an air heater is arranged at the intake air inlet of the intake manifold as means for warming the intake air. Since the intake air warmed by the air heater is supplied to each cylinder, the cylinder closest to the air heater mounting position is the cylinder having the highest intake air temperature.
On the other hand, if tq <tb is not satisfied in step S104 (No in S104), cranking is performed continuously for the time tb (S111), and the cranking is temporarily stopped (S112). Since the cranking is stopped, the battery voltage is restored. Next, n = n + 1, that is, n = 1 is set (S113), and the user turns on the engine start switch again (No in S114, S115). Here, when the automatic restart is set, the user does not need to turn on the engine start switch again, and step S115 is omitted (Yes in S114). Next, the
The
Next, the relationship among the cranking, the solenoid valve energization, and the fuel non-injection period tq in the fuel injection control at the time of starting the engine will be described.
FIG. 3 is a time chart showing the relationship between cranking, solenoid valve energization, and fuel non-injection period tq. (1) and (2) are the fuel injection control of the diesel engine shown in FIG. 3 is a time chart in the apparatus, and (3) is a time chart in a conventional fuel injection control apparatus for a diesel engine.
Referring to (1) in FIG. 3, the horizontal axis shows the elapsed time since the engine start switch was turned on. From the upper stage, the cranking operation / stopped state, the solenoid valve on / off state, the fuel The non-injection time tq is shown. (1) in FIG. 3 is a case where n = 0 and tq <tb (Yes in S104 in FIG. 2) in the flowchart shown in FIG. When the engine start switch is turned on, the cell motor is activated to start cranking, and the
3 is a time chart having the same configuration as (1) in FIG. 3. In the flowchart shown in FIG. 2, n = 0 and not tq <tb (in S104 in FIG. 2). No), n = 1 and tq <tb (Yes in S104 in FIG. 2). When the engine start switch is turned on, the cell motor is activated to start cranking, and the cranking is stopped simultaneously with the elapse of the continuous cranking possible time tb. After a predetermined time has elapsed, the cell motor is actuated again to start re-cranking, and the
Referring to (3) of FIG. 3, in the case of a conventional fuel injection control device for a diesel engine, energization to the solenoid valve is performed immediately after the start of cranking, and ignition is started only after repeated energization several times. The first explosion.
Next, the relationship between the white smoke concentration and the cooling water temperature Tw, the relationship between the white smoke concentration and the fuel non-injection time tq, and the relationship between the fuel non-injection time tq and the cooling water temperature Tw will be described.
FIG. 4 shows the relationship between the white smoke concentration and the cooling water temperature Tw in the conventional diesel engine fuel injection control device, and FIG. 4 shows the white smoke concentration and no fuel injection. It is the figure which showed the relationship with time tq, and the (3) is the figure which showed the relationship between fuel non-injection time tq and the cooling water temperature Tw.
Referring to (1) of FIG. 4, the vertical axis represents the white smoke concentration of white smoke generated immediately after engine start, and the horizontal axis represents the cooling water detected in step S102 shown in FIG. The temperature Tw is taken. The white smoke concentration does not change much if the cooling water temperature Tw is equal to or higher than Tw1, and increases as the cooling water temperature Tw decreases in a range lower than Tw1. Therefore, it can be seen that setting the no fuel injection period tq in the range where the coolant temperature Tw is lower than Tw1 is effective in reducing white smoke generated immediately after the engine is started.
Referring to (2) in FIG. 4, the vertical axis represents the white smoke concentration of white smoke generated immediately after the engine is started, and the horizontal axis represents the no fuel set in step S103 shown in FIG. The injection time tq is taken. The white smoke concentration is reduced by setting the fuel non-injection period tq. Further, the white smoke concentration decreases as the fuel non-injection time tq becomes longer, and is almost constant from the time when the fuel non-injection period tq becomes te.
Referring to (3) in FIG. 4, the vertical axis represents the fuel non-injection time tq set in step S103 shown in FIG. 2, and the horizontal axis represents the detection in step S102 shown in FIG. The cooling water temperature Tw to be used is taken. In (1) of FIG. 4, if the cooling water temperature Tw is equal to or higher than Tw1, the white smoke density does not change so much. Therefore, the fuel non-injection time tq may be set to 0 when the cooling water temperature Tw is equal to or higher than Tw1. Recognize. In FIG. 4 (2), since the white smoke concentration is substantially constant from the time when the fuel non-injection period tq becomes te, the fuel non-injection time tq is constant at te when the coolant temperature Tw is Tw3 or less. It turns out that it should just set to. When the coolant temperature Tw is Tw2, the fuel non-injection time tq is the continuous cranking possible time tb, and when the coolant temperature Tw detected in step 102 in FIG. 2 is Tw2 or less, the engine is restarted. A new fuel non-injection time tq is set.
From the above, as shown in the flowchart of FIG. 2, in the fuel
Next, the target pressure arrival time of the rail pressure of the
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the relationship between the target pressure arrival time of the rail pressure of the
With reference to FIG. 5, the vertical axis represents the target pressure arrival time of the rail pressure of the
In the above-described embodiment, the fuel non-injection time is set according to the coolant temperature, but may be set constant with the continuous cranking possible time as a limit.
Further, in the above embodiment, the coolant temperature is used as the engine temperature. However, the intake water temperature, the lubricating oil temperature, the fuel temperature, or the like may be used as long as the engine temperature can be evaluated. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, there are six injectors, but the number of injectors may be one or more.
