Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power storage unit mainly used as an auxiliary power source for a vehicle.
In recent years, automobiles (hereinafter referred to as vehicles) equipped with a hybrid system and an idling stop system have been rapidly developed from the viewpoint of protecting the global environment. Along with this, systems that regenerate braking energy of vehicles as electrical energy, Various proposals have been made on a system for assisting the motor drive of a hybrid vehicle during acceleration or the like.
In such a system, in the case of regeneration, it is necessary to store braking energy that changes abruptly as much as possible in the energy storage element as electric energy, and in the case of motor drive assistance, it is necessary to supply a large current that can rapidly accelerate the vehicle. In any case, a system using a capacitor, which is superior in quick charge / discharge characteristics as compared with a battery, is attracting particular attention as a storage element.
However, in order to store electric power that can accelerate the vehicle rapidly, an electric double layer capacitor having a large capacity, for example, is required. Further, since the charging voltage of this capacitor is as low as about 2.2V, a large number of capacitors are connected to the voltage. It is necessary to raise.
Such a power storage unit can certainly hold a large number of power storage elements. However, when such a power storage unit is mounted on a vehicle, there are the following problems.
The
When a plurality of
When a vehicle vibration is applied to the power storage unit, the
An object of the present invention is to solve the conventional problems described above, and to provide a highly reliable power storage unit that can reliably hold a power storage element having a height error.
In order to solve the conventional problem, the power storage unit of the present invention has a first power storage element having a column shape, and an upper electrode and a lower electrode provided at both ends of the column shape are a positive electrode and a negative electrode, respectively, A second electricity storage element in which an upper electrode and a lower electrode are respectively a negative electrode and a positive electrode; a lower part of a flat plate metal that connects the upper electrodes or the lower electrodes in the first electricity storage element and the second electricity storage element; A power storage unit including a bus bar, a lower case into which lower portions of the plurality of power storage units are inserted, and upper portions of the plurality of power storage units are inserted, and each of the first power storage elements and each of the second power storage elements An upper case provided with at least one elastic part with which a part of the upper end part abuts, and a plurality of triangular pyramid-shaped ribs with which a part of the peripheral part of the upper end of each of the first power storage elements and each of the second power storage elements abuts And having a bent portion and a plurality of The upper bus bar connecting the upper electrodes of the power storage unit, the displacement width of the elastic portion is larger than the height error of the plurality of first power storage elements and second power storage elements, and the rib is The first power storage element having the lowest height within the range of the height error or a height at which a part of the periphery of the upper end of the second power storage element can be brought into contact.
According to the present invention, by inserting the first power storage element and the second power storage element into the upper case, the rib provided on the upper case is crushed by the periphery of the upper end, and the elastic portion hits a part of the upper end. Therefore, when assembled, the elastic portion applies stress in the lower direction while absorbing the height error between the first power storage element and the second power storage element, and is firmly fixed by the rib. As a result, even if there is a height error, all the first power storage elements and the second power storage elements can be held and fixed, so that the influence of the vibration on the connection portion between the electrode and the bus bar and the bus bar itself can be reduced, and high reliability can be obtained. It is done.

FIG. 6 is a partially assembled perspective view of the power storage unit according to the embodiment of the present invention. Note that in this embodiment, a configuration example of a power storage unit for a vehicle will be described.
In FIG. 1, there are two types of cylindrical storage elements for storing electric power. First, the 1st
Here, in the 1st
The
In the configuration of FIG. 1, the
With such a configuration, the first
Next, the overall configuration of the power storage unit will be described with reference to FIG.
The
Next, the
The
Here, FIG. 3 shows a plan view when the
First, FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view before the
As described above, since the reference plane in the height direction of the
When the
FIG. 5 is a partial cross-sectional view after the
Further, the upper end
Note that the size, position, quantity, and the like of the
Here, returning to FIG. 2, the
In FIG. 2, an
Next, the configuration of the
Further, since the
FIG. 6 shows the assembled state of the above members. Note that the cross-sectional view of the portion indicated by the dotted line in FIG. 6 corresponds to FIG. 5 described above. The
An
With the above configuration and operation, the
In the present embodiment, the
Further, in the present embodiment, the first
In the present embodiment, the case where the power storage unit is applied to a vehicle has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and can be applied to a general emergency auxiliary power source or the like.
The power storage unit according to the present invention has a configuration in which the elastic portion absorbs the height error of the power storage element, so that heat generation at the welded connection portion and fluctuating stress fatigue of the bus bar can be reduced, and high reliability is obtained. It is useful as a power storage unit used for an auxiliary power source for vehicles.
