In step S402, the
FIG. 6 is a diagram in which the player A displays the self-portrait and the screen is switched to the video game screen. The
The same applies to the state of FIG. Depending on the timing of analysis, there may be a case where the coincidence occurs only for a moment, so conditions such as the coincidence time interval and the coincident sampling number may be added.
FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a monitor display on the player A side when the same game as the player A is started from FIG. 6 and the screen is transmitted to the player A from FIG.
In this case, since both images are the same, it is determined that the results of the
If a different game is activated, the coincidence determination can hardly occur. Even if the coincidence determination is still made, the process proceeds to the next step and the game can be started at the same time. There is no problem in operation, but if it is not the same game in the first place, it can not compete and cannot be enjoyed between players.
Next, in step S403, a signal for starting the game at the same time is transmitted to each player as preparation for the timer, and the process proceeds to the next step S404.
For example, there is a method of starting with a countdown such as “3 · 2 · 1 · Go”.
Next, in step S404, since each player has started the game, a timer serving as a break is started, and images displayed on each other are started to be recorded independently. And proceed to the next Step S405.
FIG. 8 shows the monitor display of player A immediately after each player starts the game at the same time as the countdown. 801 to 803 are the same as 701 to 703 in FIG. 7, but a
Next, in step S405, the process waits until the timer operated in step S404 passes the set time. This is the time for players to compete. If it passes, it will progress to the following step S406.
Next, in step S406, since the competition period has ended, the timer and image recording operated in step S404 are ended, the completion is notified to another monitor device, and the process proceeds to the next step S407.
Next, in step S407, the image stopped in step S406 is displayed on the monitor to present the competition result, and the display is continued until an instruction to cancel the image display is given in step S408.
If a cancel instruction is received, the last frame display is canceled in step S409 to return to the original videophone state, for example. An operation that can be a release instruction is when a button is pressed on the monitor remote control.
FIG. 9 shows the monitor display of player A at the time of step S407. At this time, since each player has finished competing, the score and area can be compared by displaying the stop state. In this case, it can be confirmed that player B is winning both in the score and in the area.

In step S1001, it waits until the monitor device of player C starts a call with the monitor devices of player A and player B. When the call is started, the process proceeds to the next step S1002.
FIG. 11 is a diagram of a monitor device displaying a state in which player A, player B, and player C are talking. 1101 is a monitor device of the player C, 1102 is a player A (calling partner image), 1103 is a player B (calling partner image), and 1104 is a state where the player C (self image) is displayed.
At this time, since the player C is in a state of talking with the player A and the player B, there is no problem even if the
In the next step S1002, the
In the next step S1003, the process branches depending on which monitor device image matches. If the images including the self-portrait match, the process proceeds to the next step S1004, and the process is the same as when talking between the two parties. Thereafter, the process is performed from step S403 in FIG. You can enjoy the game.
However, if they match except for the self-portrait, the process proceeds to the next step S1005, where the player C enjoys the game as a spectator.
FIG. 12 is a diagram showing a display on the monitor device when everyone including himself / herself starts the same game in step S1003.
Here, since it is the same image as that of the other call partner, the information analysis means 306 determines that they match, so the process moves to step S403 in the flowchart of FIG. 4 to perform processing for starting the game at the same time.
FIG. 13 is a diagram showing a display on the monitor device when the same game is started by anyone other than yourself in step S1003.
The difference from FIG. 12 is that the
At this time, since it is determined that the screens of the player A and the player B match the screens of the other party and the screen of the other party, the process proceeds to start the video game, but the player C is not ready, I can't do it, so I will watch it. Note that the image of the spectator may be hidden when the player C watches.
In the next step S1005, the monitor device of the spectator transmits the image information of all players by the information storage means 301 in step S1006 until images from all the players who have started the competition in the video game are transmitted and recording is started. Continue to accumulate individually.
When the images of all the players have been received, in step S1007, all the images for all the players are simultaneously reproduced with the cue at the time of starting the competition as a reference point, and the process proceeds to the next step. The recording performed here is executed until a notice of completion of the player competing in the video game is received.
In the next step S1008, a timer for the spectator is operated on the monitor terminal serving as the spectator to display timer information. This timer continues to operate until the set time elapses in step S1009. If the set time has elapsed, the timer is ended in step S1010 and the process proceeds to the next step S1011.
FIG. 14 is a diagram showing a display on the monitor device of player C when player A and player B are competing while player C's self-portrait portion is hidden.
1401 to 1403 mean the same as 901 to 903 in FIG.
At this time, the video displayed on the spectator's monitor device is a video synchronized between the players.
Next, in step S1011, when the watching is over, the screen immediately before the end is kept, and the screen is continuously displayed in step S1012 until a screen release instruction is issued.
When the cancel instruction is received, the last frame display is canceled in step S1013 to return to the original videophone state, for example. An operation that can be a release instruction is when a button is pressed on the monitor remote control.
The above is a flow when the
In this manner, even when a plurality of people are talking or when some of the plurality are competing, everyone can enjoy a video game without any problem.
(Second Embodiment)
In the first embodiment, a method of enjoying a video game directly between callers using the videophone function has been described. In this case, if the call is not established, the video game cannot be enjoyed, and the players are mostly acquainted with each other. And that player needs to know in advance that he has the same game.
Therefore, a second embodiment in which a video game can be easily enjoyed with a large number of players will be described below.
