Abstract
Description
本発明は個人の聴覚特性を簡便に検査・測定する装置および、聴力検査・測定方法に関する。 The present invention relates to an apparatus and a hearing test / measurement method for simply testing / measuring an auditory characteristic of an individual.
従来特に難聴者向けに各種検査・測定装置が提案されてきているが、簡便に個人の聴力を正確に検査・測定する方法はなかったというのが現状であり、測定精度にも限界があった。 Various testing and measuring devices have been proposed for hearing-impaired people in the past, but there is currently no simple method for accurately testing and measuring an individual's hearing ability, and there is a limit to measurement accuracy. .
例えば日本国特許第3371105号、特開2006−20906等においてはインターネット通信を利用した聴力検査装置が示されており、自宅でも簡便に聴力を検査可能となっているが、現実問題としてパーソナルコンピューターの設定(ボリュームの大きさ)、スピーカー等の音響機器の配置等により正確を期することは難しかった。 For example, Japanese Patent No. 3371105, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2006-20906, etc. show a hearing test device using Internet communication, and it is possible to easily test hearing at home. It was difficult to ensure accuracy by setting (volume size), arrangement of audio equipment such as speakers, and the like.
また特開2003−102705においては、音出力手段から検査音を出力させると共に、検出手段により検出される入力信号レベルが基準値と所定の関係になるように検査音の出力を較正するような構成をとっているが、例えば子供のように動き回る被検者などの場合にはスピーカーからの位置関係が一定でなくなり実際の耳で聞こえる音圧が所定の音ではなくなる可能性がある。 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-102705 outputs a test sound from the sound output unit and calibrates the output of the test sound so that the input signal level detected by the detection unit has a predetermined relationship with the reference value. However, in the case of a subject who moves around like a child, for example, the positional relationship from the speaker is not constant, and the sound pressure heard by the actual ear may not be a predetermined sound.
従来のシステムにおいては特にパーソナルコンピューター等を使う場合においてもそれぞれの機器の特性によって所定の周波数、音圧を正確に再生できているかどうかは疑わしかった。 In the conventional system, even when a personal computer or the like is used, it is doubtful whether a predetermined frequency and sound pressure can be accurately reproduced depending on the characteristics of each device.
すなわち被検者の耳の穴で所定の周波数、音圧が出ているかを実現できていることが少なかったのが実情である。 In other words, the actual situation is that it is rare that a predetermined frequency and sound pressure are generated in the ear hole of the subject.
前述の課題を解決するために本発明者らは鋭意研究の結果以下の手段をとった。すなわち所定の音を発生させて聴力検査を行う聴力検査・測定装置、方法であって被検者の耳の近傍に音を監視する発生音監視手段を設け、さらに所定の周波数および音圧の検査音を発生する所定周波数・音圧発生手段、この監視手段により前記所定周波数・音圧発生手段により発生した音を監視し音を調整する調整制御手段を設けておけばよい。 In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have taken the following measures as a result of intensive studies. That is, a hearing test / measuring device and method for generating a predetermined sound to perform a hearing test, comprising a generated sound monitoring means for monitoring sound in the vicinity of the subject's ear, and further testing a predetermined frequency and sound pressure There may be provided a predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means for generating a sound, and an adjustment control means for monitoring the sound generated by the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means and adjusting the sound.
上述のシステムによって所定の周波数、音圧の音が場所によらず常に一定状態で出すことが可能となる。 With the above-described system, a sound having a predetermined frequency and sound pressure can always be output in a constant state regardless of the place.
The monitoring means for monitoring the sound generated by the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means monitors the frequency and / or the sound pressure by the sound characteristic acquisition means, and the frequency or sound pressure or the sound pressure acquired by the sound characteristic acquisition means. The two may measure the predetermined frequency or sound pressure or the difference between the two, and adjust and control the predetermined frequency or sound pressure or both by the adjustment control means described above. If necessary, this monitoring means can reduce the influence from disturbances such as noise if the sound acquired by the monitoring means is filtered by a predetermined frequency and extracted and monitored.
そして被検者の耳の近傍に音を監視する監視手段は被検者の頭部あるいは耳あるいは眼鏡に装着され被検者の耳穴近傍に設けられた音特性取得手段とすれがよい。もちろん耳穴近傍であれば例えば子供が喜ぶキャラクター帽子の耳穴近傍部分、ヘッドギアの耳穴近傍部分、耳飾の耳穴近傍付近に設ければよく耳穴からの距離は10cm以内さらに好ましくは5cmいないとすればよい。 The monitoring means for monitoring the sound in the vicinity of the subject's ear is preferably a sound characteristic acquisition means that is attached to the subject's head, ears or glasses and is provided in the vicinity of the subject's ear hole. Of course, if it is in the vicinity of the ear hole, for example, it may be provided in the vicinity of the ear hole of the character hat that the child is pleased with, in the vicinity of the ear hole of the headgear, or in the vicinity of the ear hole of the earring. .
そして前述の監視手段と前記所定周波数・音圧発生手段、前述の調整制御手段は互いに離れている場合には接続通信する接続通信手段を設けておけばよく、この通信手段は例えば、ブルートゥース、無線LAN、赤外線通信等の光通信等の無線通信手段あるいはケーブル等をつないだ有線通信手段を用いればよい。 The monitoring means, the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generation means, and the adjustment control means may be provided with connection communication means for connection communication when they are separated from each other. Wireless communication means such as optical communication such as LAN and infrared communication, or wired communication means connected with a cable or the like may be used.
The aforementioned hearing test / measurement device and hearing test / measurement method use a personal computer, and the aforementioned monitoring device and personal computer communicate as described above, using the aforementioned predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means and the aforementioned monitoring means. The adjustment control means for monitoring the sound generated by the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means and adjusting the sound is installed by the personal computer, and the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means and the adjustment control means are installed with software. Calibration that uses the sound source board installed in the above, and further calibrates the sound frequency and sound pressure generated using the monitoring means and the software and sound source board so that they fall within the predetermined frequency and sound pressure range. A means should be provided.
前述の通信は音監視装置とパーソナルコンピューター間でUSBポートといった有線回線あるいはブルートゥース、無線LANといった無線デジタル通信またはパーソナルコンピューターが持っているマイク入力端子あるいはライン入力端子、あるいはその前述のデジタル回線、マイク入力端子といったアナログの両者で行われるようにすればよい。 The above-mentioned communication is between the sound monitoring device and the personal computer, such as a wired line such as a USB port, Bluetooth, wireless digital communication such as wireless LAN, or a microphone input terminal or line input terminal of the personal computer, or the above-described digital line or microphone input. What is necessary is just to carry out by both analogs, such as a terminal.
前述のパーソナルコンピューターは蓄積手段を設けておきこの聴力検査・測定システムから取り込んだデータを蓄積するようにしておけばよい。こうすることによって被検者のデータが蓄積され過去からの聴力特性の履歴を簡単に取り出すことができるようになる。 The aforementioned personal computer may be provided with storage means so as to store data taken from the hearing test / measurement system. By doing so, the data of the subject is accumulated, and the history of hearing characteristics from the past can be easily extracted.
The subject calibration means outputs a predetermined frequency and sound pressure from the subject predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means to the sound source board, and the sound output to the speaker via the sound source board by the monitoring means described above. It is possible to calibrate by obtaining by the sound characteristic obtaining means of the monitoring means and adjusting to the predetermined frequency and sound pressure as compared with the predetermined frequency and sound pressure. If necessary, the calibration means is less affected by disturbance if the sound acquired by the monitoring means is filtered by a predetermined frequency and extracted and calibrated with the extracted sound.
また前述の音特性取得手段は取得した音信号を出力する必要があるが、各パーソナルコンピューターによって入力信号取得部にばらつきがあるのでこれを校正する必要がある。前述の音特性取得手段は基準信号生成手段を設けておけばよい。こうすることによってパーソナルコンピューターのアナログ入力系の個体差を修正することが可能となる The above-mentioned sound characteristic acquisition means needs to output the acquired sound signal, but the input signal acquisition unit varies depending on each personal computer, so it is necessary to calibrate this. The sound characteristic acquisition means described above may be provided with a reference signal generation means. This makes it possible to correct individual differences in the analog input system of a personal computer.
また上述のように音特性取得手段は音の取得により出力信号にばらつきがあっては正確な調整・制御は不可能となる。そこで前述の音特性取得手段は音センサー及び事前調整手段を設けておく。こうすることによって例えば1000Hz、94dBの音を取得した時、音センサーによってばらつきがあっても事前調整手段(1000Hz、94dBを音センサーに入力した時にポテンショメーター等により調整し同様な電気出力が出るようにする)同じ電気出力を可能にすることができる。 In addition, as described above, the sound characteristic acquisition means cannot perform accurate adjustment / control if the output signals vary due to the sound acquisition. Therefore, the sound characteristic acquisition means described above is provided with a sound sensor and a pre-adjustment means. In this way, for example, when a sound of 1000 Hz and 94 dB is acquired, even if there are variations in the sound sensor, a pre-adjusting means (a potentiometer or the like adjusts when a 1000 Hz or 94 dB is input to the sound sensor so that a similar electrical output is obtained. The same electrical output can be possible.

The sound generated by the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generation means may be adjusted and controlled by the adjustment control means described above.
さらにパーソナルコンピューターはインターネットのネットワークを介して遠隔地から聴力検査・測定が可能であるようにしておけばよい。すなわちその場所にいない人がネットワークを介してパーソナルコンピューターで所望の周波数、音圧の音を出力し、被検者の聴力検査・測定を行う。 Furthermore, the personal computer should be capable of hearing test and measurement from a remote location via the Internet network. That is, a person who is not in the place outputs a sound of a desired frequency and sound pressure with a personal computer via a network, and performs a hearing test / measurement on the subject.

前述の所定周波数・音圧発生手段により発生した音を監視する前述の監視手段は音特性取得手段により周波数あるいは音圧あるいは両者を監視し、前述の音特性取得手段により取得した周波数あるいは音圧あるいは両者が所定の周波数あるいは音圧あるいは両者の差を測定し前述の調整制御手段により所定の周波数あるいは音圧あるいは両者を調整制御するようにすればよい。 The monitoring means for monitoring the sound generated by the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generating means monitors the frequency and / or the sound pressure by the sound characteristic acquisition means, and the frequency or sound pressure or the sound pressure acquired by the sound characteristic acquisition means. The two may measure the predetermined frequency or sound pressure or the difference between the two, and adjust and control the predetermined frequency or sound pressure or both by the adjustment control means described above.
前述の監視手段と所定周波数・音圧発生手段、調整制御手段は互いに接続通信する接続通信手段を設けておけばよくこの通信手段は例えば、ブルートゥース、無線LAN、赤外線通信等の光通信等の無線通信手段あるいはケーブル等をつないだ有線通信手段を用いればよい。 The monitoring means, the predetermined frequency / sound pressure generation means, and the adjustment control means may be provided with connection communication means for connecting and communicating with each other. Further, it is only necessary to provide calibration means for calibrating so that the frequency and sound pressure of the sound generated using the monitoring means and the software and the sound source board are within a predetermined frequency and sound pressure range. .
また上述のように音特性取得手段は音の取得により出力信号にばらつきがあっては正確な調整・制御は不可能となる。そこで前述の音特性取得手段は音センサー及び事前調整手段を設けておく。こうすることによって例えば1000Hz、94dBの音を取得した時、音センサーによってばらつきがあっても事前調整手段(1000Hz、94dBを音センサーに入力した時にポテンショメーター等により調整し同様な電気出力が出るようにする)同じ電気出力を可能にすることが可能となる。 In addition, as described above, the sound characteristic acquisition means cannot perform accurate adjustment / control if the output signals vary due to the sound acquisition. It is possible to make the same electrical output possible.
前述の聴力検査・測定装置、聴力検査・測定方法はパーソナルコンピューターを使い前述の監視装置に設けてある音特性取得手段のデータは入出力機器を通じてパーソナルコンピューターに取り込まれ該取り込まれたデータにより前述の所定周波数・音圧発生手段により発生された音は前述の調整制御手段により調整制御すればよい。 The aforementioned hearing test / measurement device and hearing test / measurement method use a personal computer, and the data of the sound characteristic acquisition means provided in the monitoring device is taken into the personal computer through an input / output device, and the above-mentioned data is obtained by the taken-in data.
前述の聴力検査装置・方法は被聴力検査者が聞こえるかどうかの判定をする判定手段を設けておきこの判定手段によって被検者が聞こえるかどうか判断すればよい。 The hearing test apparatus and method described above may be provided with a determination means for determining whether or not the hearing tester can hear, and the determination means may determine whether or not the subject can be heard.
前述の聴力検査はパーソナルコンピューターのキーボード、マウス、表示画面に備え付けられたタッチパネルから選ばれた少なくとも1つにより操作するようにすればよい。こうすることによって例えば被検者が表示画面のタッチパネルに従って自分の聴力の検査・測定することが可能となる。同様に被検者と異なったオペレーターが操作し被検者の聴力を検査・測定してもよい。 The aforementioned hearing test may be operated by at least one selected from a keyboard, a mouse, and a touch panel provided on a display screen of a personal computer. In this way, for example, the subject can test and measure his / her hearing according to the touch panel of the display screen. Similarly, an operator different from the subject may operate and examine and measure the subject's hearing ability.
以上説明したように本発明によれば被検者の耳の穴の付近で所定の周波数、音圧が正確に再生することができるので正確な聴力測定が可能となる。また子供等じっとしていない被験者に対しても場所によることなく正確な測定が可能となる。またパーソナルコンピューターを使うことにより安価に正確な聴力測定を実現することが可能となる。 As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to accurately reproduce a predetermined frequency and sound pressure in the vicinity of the subject's ear hole, so that accurate hearing measurement can be performed. In addition, it is possible to accurately measure a subject such as a child without depending on the place. Moreover, accurate hearing measurement can be realized at low cost by using a personal computer.
Furthermore, in a personal computer, sound characteristics such as sound pressure generated in each device vary, but according to the present invention, calibration is performed in each device, so that accurate inspection / measurement is possible. In addition, even when headphones are not used (when general users listen to audio), it is possible to produce accurate sound characteristics at the position of the subject's ear hole regardless of the position of the speaker and the subject. A dedicated room for hearing tests and measurements is no longer required, and it is not only easy for ordinary people to handle in a normal place, but also a popular personal computer can be used, so it can be provided at low cost. Furthermore, if the data of the hearing test / measurement is accumulated in the personal computer, it is possible to easily track the transition of the subject's hearing ability.
This will be specifically described below with reference to the drawings. Further details will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a first embodiment of the present invention. A sound characteristic acquisition means is provided in the vicinity of the hole of the person's ear, and the sound of the speaker is accurately reproduced according to the result of the sound characteristic acquisition means in the vicinity of the ear to perform a hearing test. is there. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a state in which sound characteristic acquisition means is installed in the vicinity of a human ear, 101 is a human head, 102 is an ear (hole), 103 is headgear, and 104 is sound characteristic acquisition. Means. Here, a sensor is provided in the headgear, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a sensor may be attached in the vicinity of the ear hole of a character hat that a child is pleased with. Or a headphone, the vine part of spectacles, etc. may be sufficient.
FIG. 2 shows an outline of the system when sound characteristic acquisition means is installed in the vicinity of the ear hole of FIG. 1, and 204 is a device that generates sound of a predetermined frequency and sound pressure.
このため被検者の耳穴の部分において所定の周波数・音圧の音の再生が可能となりスピーカーの位置等に関係なく正確な聴力検査が可能となる。 Therefore, it is possible to reproduce a sound having a predetermined frequency and sound pressure at the ear hole portion of the subject, and an accurate hearing test can be performed regardless of the position of the speaker.
FIG. 3 shows the flow of the control. In 301, a predetermined frequency / sound pressure is selected, and in 302, a signal having a predetermined frequency / sound pressure is generated. Next, at 303, a sound is generated from a predetermined sound signal, and the sound generated at 304 is amplified. The amplified sound is output as a speaker at 305. In the
ここでは音の大きさ(音圧)のみのフィードバック制御を行っているが、これに限られるものではなく必要に応じて周波数のフィードバック制御を行えばよい。 Here, feedback control is performed only for the loudness (sound pressure), but the present invention is not limited to this, and frequency feedback control may be performed as necessary.
図4は本システムを実際に使った様子を表している。401は操作盤であり、所定の周波数・音圧発生装置を内蔵している。402はヘッドギアーであり403はヘッドギアに装着された耳穴近傍の音特性取得手段である。404は音が聞こえたかどうかの判定装置であり、被験者が音が聞こえた時に押すものである。405はスピーカーであり図3に示したようにセンサー404により音量が調節され被験者の耳穴近傍で所定の周波数・音圧を再生し正確な聴力測定が可能となる。
FIG. 4 shows how the system is actually used.
図5は本システムを使った聴力測定のフローを示している。まず501において所定の周波数・音圧を設定し、402で所定の周波数・音圧を再生し被検者が聞き判定を行う。そして聞こえる場合には505の音圧を下げるに進み、聞こえない場合には504の音圧を上げるに進み506で音圧の再設定を行いこのフローを繰り返し臨界点を見つけ出す。ここで検査音は純音、震音(WARBLE TONE)、バンドノイズから目的に応じて選択すればよい。 FIG. 5 shows the flow of hearing measurement using this system. First, a predetermined frequency / sound pressure is set at 501, and the predetermined frequency / sound pressure is reproduced at 402, and the subject makes a hearing decision. If the sound pressure can be heard, the process proceeds to lowering the sound pressure of 505. If the sound pressure cannot be heard, the process proceeds to increasing the sound pressure of 504, and the sound pressure is reset at 506, and this flow is repeated to find the critical point. Here, the inspection sound may be selected according to the purpose from pure sound, WARBLE TONE, and band noise.
Next, a method for realizing the present embodiment on a personal computer will be described. FIG. 6 shows the outline. 601 is a personal computer, 602 is a microphone input unit of the personal computer, 603 is an input / output device unit such as USB of the personal computer, and 604 is an audio output unit of the personal computer.
Since the microphone input characteristics, the sound source board characteristics, and the like are different and various settings are different, calibration is necessary in the case of FIG. Then, since each personal computer has different microphone input characteristics, sound source board characteristics, etc., it is necessary to calibrate each, and the method will be described. FIG. 7 shows a block diagram of this system. Here,
Next, since input characteristics such as microphone input in a personal computer are different, a method for calibrating the input characteristics will be described. The state is shown in FIG. Here, a reference signal normally indicating 94 dB is generated at 801 by the reference signal generating means 710 of FIG. 7 built in the sound characteristic acquiring means 706, and is output at the output means 713 and is a microphone input of the personal computer. The reference signal is acquired at 802. Next, the input sound of FIG. 7 is input to the reference sound comparison / adjustment means 704 at 803, and this signal is recognized as a reference sound pressure of 94 dB at 804. In 805, the reference sound pressure is stored in the calibration data storage means 708 of FIG. sign up. This calibrates the microphone input characteristics of each personal computer to be constant, but this reference signal generation may be instructed to generate a reference signal from a personal computer through a port such as USB, or the sound characteristics shown in FIG. At the same time, an activation button is attached to the reference signal generation means 710 of the means, and a microphone input characteristic calibration means mode is provided in the personal computer at the same time, and this microphone input characteristic calibration means mode is called, and the reference signal generation means activation button is pressed to calibrate. Also good.
Next, since the sound source board characteristics and speaker positions differ depending on the personal computer, it is necessary to calibrate the sound source board characteristics, speaker position correction, and the like. An example of the flow is shown in FIG. 9, but of course it is not limited to a personal computer. 7, a sound signal of 1000 Hz 94 dB is called from the
本実施例においてはスピーカー出力の場合の例である。また本実施例ではパーソナルコンピューターのマイク入力部を使用した校正であるがこれに限られるものではなく、例えば図7の基準信号生成手段、事前調整手段を含む音特性取得手段をADコンバーター等を使いデジタル化してデジタルデータでパーソナルコンピューター等と通信してもよい。 This embodiment is an example of speaker output. In this embodiment, the calibration is performed using the microphone input unit of the personal computer. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the sound characteristic acquisition unit including the reference signal generation unit and the pre-adjustment unit shown in FIG. You may digitize and communicate with a personal computer etc. by digital data.
In this embodiment, an example of only volume adjustment is shown, but the present invention is not limited to this, and frequency calibration may be performed as necessary. The sound of a predetermined frequency and sound pressure may be stored in the personal computer as an audio file. In this embodiment, the predetermined frequency and sound pressure are generated in the personal computer. However, the present invention is not limited to this. A device for generating the predetermined frequency and sound pressure is provided outside the personal computer and controlled by the personal computer computer. May be. Even in such a case, a sound characteristic acquisition means may be provided in the vicinity of the ear canal to perform feedback control. In this embodiment, a speaker is used. However, headphones or earphones may be used. In this case, sound characteristic acquisition means may be provided near the ear hole.
Next, a description will be given of accumulation of subject data when a personal computer is used, and this is shown in FIG. The subject is input at 1001, the subject's data is searched at 1002, and if there is no past data at 1003, that is, there is no subject registration, a new subject database is newly registered at 1004. When there is no past data, it calls from subject DB1005 in 1006. And what is necessary is just to register the new data which implemented and implemented the test of the test subject's hearing in the applicable database. FIG. 11 shows the state of data of subject A on September 10, 2006.

When outputting sound to the dedicated headphones, for example, a weight may be output based on a loudness curve, for example. Here, 1302 is a personal computer, 1301 is a display 1303 is a keyboard, and 1304 is a mouse. 10 is a dedicated device that displays a screen as shown in FIG. 10 on the display 1301 and generates a sound of a predetermined frequency and sound pressure selected by the operator as a predetermined frequency and sound pressure in 1307 to determine hearing. FIG. 11 is a diagram in which a hearing test is performed with headphones 1306 and hearing is determined at 1208. The personal computer and the dedicated device 1307 may be connected by communication means such as USB, and the hearing test may be controlled from the personal computer. Here, the personal computer may be operated with a keyboard and a mouse, or may be operated with a touch panel on the display as necessary. Further, hearing ability may be measured by operating from a remote place via the Internet.

Next, an example in which the sound field is adjusted in advance at a position to be an ear location and the subject later installs an ear at the corresponding location is shown in FIG.
In this case, for example, the position of the speaker, the position of the subject's ear, and the amount of adjustment such as volume are different in each case, so a constant sound cannot be produced at all times, so it is necessary to calibrate the sound. 19 First, in 1901, a sound characteristic acquisition unit is installed at the position of the subject's ear hole, and in 1902, a reference signal calibrated from a predetermined frequency and sound pressure is generated, and the sound based on the reference signal is output from the speaker 1605 in FIG. Output. In 1903, sound is recorded by the sound characteristic acquisition means 1802 in FIG. 18A, and in 1904, the collected sound data is transmitted to 1801 in FIG. The transmitted data is compared with a predetermined frequency / sound pressure (reference signal) in 1905. In 1906, it is determined whether or not the difference from the reference signal is within the specified value. If the difference from the specified value is deviated from the specified value, adjustment is performed so that the reference value becomes 1907. This process from 1907 to 1906 is repeated until it falls within the specified value. If the value falls within the specified value, adjustment data is accumulated in 1907.
本例では図18の1801から基準音を発生し校正を行ったがこれに限られるものではなく、例えば音特性取得手段に基準信号発生手段を設けておきその基準信号によって校正してもよい。 In this example, the reference sound is generated from 1801 in FIG. 18 and the calibration is performed. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the sound characteristic acquisition means may be provided with a reference signal generating means and calibrated by the reference signal.
次に実際に聴力測定のばあいについて説明するが、その時の様子は図18の(b)に示したここで1803は被験者であり1804は聞こえたかどうかの判定器である。そのフローは図20に示したが2001において図18の(a)の1802を取り外し被験者を該当の位置にせってする。次に2002において該当場所の調整蓄積データを呼び出し該当位置の調整を行う設定とする。そして2003において所定の周波数・音圧を発生し、2004で聴力測定を行う。 Next, an actual hearing measurement will be described. The state at that time is shown in FIG. 18 (b), where 1803 is a subject and 1804 is a judgment device whether or not it is heard. The flow is shown in FIG. 20. In FIG. 20, 1802 in FIG. 18 (a) is removed and the subject is placed in the corresponding position. Next, in 2002, setting and adjustment of the corresponding position is performed by calling the adjustment accumulation data of the corresponding place. Then, in 2003, a predetermined frequency and sound pressure are generated, and in 2004, the hearing ability is measured.
In this embodiment, a single apparatus is used. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and a personal computer may be used as described above. In that case, a sound source board, a microphone or the like of a personal computer may be used, and the method may be performed in the same manner as in the above embodiment. Alternatively, a device that generates a predetermined frequency and sound pressure may be installed separately from the personal computer, and operated by a personal computer and a conjunction personal computer. Here, the personal computer may be operated with a keyboard and a mouse, or may be operated with a touch panel on the display as necessary. Further, hearing ability may be measured by operating from a remote place via the Internet.
