The present invention relates to a digital wireless communication system, and more particularly to a digital wireless communication system that reduces voice deterioration in a wireless terminal station.
ARIB STD-T87(Association of Radio Industries and Businesses-T87)「空港MCAデジタル無線通信システム」で定められているデジタル無線通信システムがある。 As one of the digital radio communication systems in practical use, there is a digital radio communication system defined in the standard ARIB STD-T87 (Association of Radio Industries and Businesses-T87) “Airport MCA Digital Radio Communication System”. is there. This system, for example, provides multi-channel access (MCA) for airports that have an important mission of ensuring the safety of aircraft in the airport area and the comfort of users' activities at each airline. Access) wireless communication system. Many systems such as disaster prevention radios, fire fighting / emergency radios, etc. are installed outside of airports. In the following description, a digital wireless communication system provided in an airport will be described for illustration, but the present invention is not limited to these.

The
FIG. 7 shows an example of radio carrier frequency allocation permitted for use in a digital radio communication system using the digital radio technology defined in the standard ARIB STD-T87. In FIG. 7, for example, in the uplink direction, that is, the direction from the terminal station to the base station, several tens of waves (f1, f2,...) Are recognized with a radio carrier f of 400 MHz band and a width of 25 KHz. In the downlink direction, that is, in the direction from the base station to the terminal station, a radio carrier F that is 44.5 MHz away from the radio carrier in the uplink direction and a width of 25 kHz and several tens of waves (F1, F2,...) Are recognized. It has been. Accordingly, in the communication of the digital wireless communication system, the frequencies in the upstream direction f1, f2,..., The downstream directions F1, F2,. Each system can use one or a plurality of radio carriers according to the scale.
Further, according to the standard ARIB STD-T87, the terminal stations 304-1 located within the communication area 303 and the terminal stations located outside the communication area 303 can communicate directly between the terminal stations. A wireless carrier W is permitted. This wireless carrier W also has a bandwidth of 25 KHz, and a dozen waves (W1, W2,...) Are recognized. In the digital wireless communication system shown in FIG. 3, the base station 302-1 uses, for example, uplink and downlink pair waves (f1, F1), (f2, F2), (f3, F3), and Similarly, the base station 302-2,..., Base station 302-n communicates using different uplink and downlink pair waves (f, F).
このような通信方式は、TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access)方式のデジタル無線通信システムである。 Further, each radio carrier is divided into frames as shown in FIG. 8, and after the frame is further divided into four slots, control channels C and communication channels S1, S2, S3,. Assigned. Such a communication system is a TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) digital wireless communication system. Note that the communication channels S1, S2, S3,... S11 are referred to as communication channels S. Here, for example, one frame is 40 ms, and one slot is 10 ms. The control channel C is a channel that performs wireless line connection control and the like, and the communication channel S is a channel that performs telephone calls and data communication. In FIG. 8, for example, only the downlink directions F1, F2, and F3 are illustrated in the uplink and downlink pair waves in the communication area 303-1.
Now, a case where the
A schematic configuration of the
FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing a specific configuration of the
Next, the operation of FIG. 4 will be described. For example, a case where the terminal station 304-1 makes a call with the terminal station 304-10 will be described. First, in the terminal station 304-1 that transmits voice, the voice signal from the
Here, a specific operation of the
Similarly to the above, the audio signal from the terminal station 304-10 is converted into a compression-encoded digital signal by the A /
In the encoder 604-1, the digital signal from the decoder 603-2 is compression-coded again and transmitted from the output terminal 602-1 to the base station 302-1. The base station 302-1 converts the compression-encoded digital signal into a signal suitable for radio transmission, and transmits the signal to the terminal station 304-1 using the downlink radio carrier F1. In the terminal station 304-1, the radio signal received by the
On the other hand, a digital voice signal transmitted from the
Thus, as described above, in the conventional digital wireless communication system, in order to receive a plurality of calls at the wired terminal station, the compressed encoded digital signal from the terminal station is once decompressed and decoded by the I / F unit. This is monitored by the wired terminal station after being synthesized by the voice synthesis unit. On the other hand, digital audio signals that have been decompressed and decoded by the I / F unit are once again compressed and encoded by the I / F unit and transmitted to the radio section to other terminal stations with which the terminal station communicates . For this reason, the audio data in the radio section is subjected to compression encoding and decompression decoding twice, so that audio degradation occurs in the audio signal reproduced at the terminal station. Therefore, it is desired to realize a digital wireless communication system that can reduce voice deterioration at a terminal station.
In order to receive calls from a plurality of terminal stations at the wired terminal station, the compression-coded digital signal from the terminal station is once decompressed and decoded. In addition, since the terminal station communicates with another terminal station, it is compression-coded again and transmitted to the radio section, so that voice degradation occurs. Therefore, it is desired to realize a digital wireless communication system that can reduce voice deterioration at a terminal station.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a digital radio communication system that reduces voice deterioration with a simple configuration.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a digital radio communication system that can monitor the voices of a plurality of terminal stations and can reduce voice deterioration at the radio terminal stations.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce voice degradation at a terminal station by performing encoding once in a radio section. In addition, it is possible to realize a digital radio communication system that can reduce voice degradation with a simple configuration, monitor voices of a plurality of terminal stations, and reduce voice degradation at radio terminal stations.
ここで、μ−Law(ミューロウ)とは、アナログ音声信号をPCM(Pulse Code Modulation:パルス符号変調)でデジタル信号に変換する符号化方式の一つであり、G.711として標準化されているものをいう。 この圧縮方式は、例えば、AMBE(Advanced Multi-Band Excitation)の圧縮方式で圧縮すると、4Kbpsに圧縮される。
First, before describing the present invention, voice deterioration will be described in more detail. First, as described in FIG. 5 for the
The compressed encoded digital signal encoded and compressed in this way is expanded and decoded by the decoder 603-1 of the I / F unit 401-1 of the
Next, the output signal (μ-Law 64 Kbps digital signal) decompressed and decoded by the decoder 603-1 of the I / F unit 401-1 of the

FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a specific configuration of the
Next, the operation of FIG. 1 will be described. For example, a case where the terminal station 304-1 makes a call with the terminal station 304-10 will be described. First, in the terminal station 304-1 that transmits sound, the sound signal from the
、I/F部102−2(第2のI/F部ともいう。)
In the I / F unit 102-1, a part of the compression-coded digital signal sent from the base station 302-1 is decompressed and decoded by the decoder 603-1 as shown in FIG. Supplied to the
On the other hand, the audio signal from the terminal station 304-10 is converted into a compression-encoded digital signal by the A /
Another part of the compression-encoded digital signal sent from the base station 302-2 is supplied to the
In this way, a call can be made between the terminal station 304-1 and the terminal station 304-10. Needless to say, a call between other
On the other hand, a digital voice signal transmitted from the
As described in detail above, in the present invention, in order to monitor the voice of each
Although the present invention has been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments of the digital radio communication system described herein, and can be widely applied to other digital radio communication systems.
