Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a scroll compressor used for, for example, a vehicle air conditioner, and more particularly to a scroll compressor that improves the slidability and wear resistance of a thrust bearing portion and is suitable for using carbon dioxide as a fluid to be compressed.
In the scroll compressor, the fluid (refrigerant) is compressed by the revolving motion of the movable scroll with respect to the fixed scroll. Further, when the movable scroll turns and compresses the fluid, a large force acts in the thrust direction on the movable scroll. For this reason, normally, a movable scroll support member is provided behind the movable scroll so that a thrust load applied to the movable scroll can be received. For example, a movable scroll support member that supports the movable scroll is provided behind the movable scroll, a concave portion is provided on the movable scroll side surface of the movable scroll support member, and a disc-shaped thrust bearing member is provided in the concave portion. A configuration that accommodates and receives the thrust force of the movable scroll is adopted.
However, since the orbiting radius of the orbiting scroll is about several millimeters, the sliding speed becomes low, and there is a possibility that it is difficult to form and hold an oil film on the thrust bearing member. If the formation and holding of the oil film is insufficient, the sliding loss increases, and metal contact may occur between the movable scroll and the thrust bearing member, and the thrust bearing member may be worn. A clearance of 1 mm or less is provided between the concave portion of the movable scroll support member and the thrust bearing member accommodated in the concave portion in order to facilitate assembly and removal of the thrust bearing member. For this reason, since the thrust bearing member moves in the radial direction of the concave portion in accordance with the orbiting movement of the movable scroll, wear may occur between the sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the non-movable scroll side and the movable scroll support member. There is.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a scroll compressor having excellent reliability and durability at low cost by suppressing the wear of the thrust bearing member by improving the lubricity of the thrust bearing member. .
In order to solve the above-described problems, a scroll compressor according to the present invention includes a compression mechanism in which a fixed scroll and a movable scroll revolving with respect to the fixed scroll are engaged with each other in a pressure vessel, and the movable scroll is supported. A plurality of movable scroll support members that are arranged in a circumferential direction on a surface of the movable scroll support member on the movable scroll side, and are accommodated in the movable scroll support member on the surface and receive a thrust force of the movable scroll In a scroll compressor having a bearing member, an eccentric bearing into which a main shaft of the movable scroll is fitted, and a crankshaft that imparts orbiting motion to the movable scroll via the eccentric bearing, the movable scroll of each thrust bearing member A plurality of taper grooves with a groove width expanding in a taper shape on the sliding surface on the side and the sliding surface on the non-movable scroll side Kicking with, consisting of those characterized by providing a through hole penetrating to the sliding surface of the counter movable scroll-side from the sliding surface of the movable scroll-side communicating with each tapered groove. In such a configuration, each thrust bearing member is provided with a taper groove whose groove width expands in a taper shape, so that, for example, the outer periphery of the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member in accordance with the orbiting motion of the movable scroll. Lubricating oil is taken into the tapered groove from the side. The lubricating oil reliably forms and holds the oil film surface on the entire sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member. Further, since each tapered groove communicates with the through hole, the lubricating oil on the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member also passes through the through hole to the sliding surface on the anti-movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member. Inflow. The lubricating oil that has flowed into the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side flows into each tapered groove as the thrust bearing member slides, and lubricates the entire sliding surface on the counter-moving scroll side of the thrust bearing member. Accordingly, the oil film surfaces are reliably formed and held on both sliding surfaces of the thrust bearing member, so that the reliability and durability of the scroll compressor can be improved and the coefficient of performance (COP) of the scroll compressor can be improved. Furthermore, since the required power during the operation of the scroll compressor is reduced by ensuring smooth slidability of the thrust bearing member, it can contribute to energy saving.
The thrust bearing member has a simple structure and can be easily processed as compared with, for example, a conventional thrust bearing member in which a spiral groove is formed, so that the cost of the thrust bearing member and the scroll compressor can be reduced. Can do.
The thrust bearing member can be formed in a disc shape, but is not limited thereto, and can be formed in an elliptical shape or a polygonal shape, for example. If the thrust bearing member is formed in an elliptical shape or a polygonal shape, for example, it is possible to prevent the rotation of the thrust bearing member accommodated in the concave portion of the scroll support member.
It is preferable to give a crowning shape in which a curved surface is formed in a direction away from the movable scroll to the sliding surface in the outer peripheral portion of the thrust bearing member other than the tapered groove on the movable scroll side. If such a crowning shape is given, the contact of the movable scroll with the thrust bearing member can be weakened, so the frictional force between the thrust bearing member and the movable scroll can be reduced, and wear of the thrust bearing member can be prevented. Moreover, it is preferable to give the crowning shape in which a curved surface is formed in the direction away from the movable scroll support member to the sliding surface in the outer peripheral portion of the thrust bearing member other than the taper groove on the side opposite to the movable scroll. By providing such a crowning shape, the contact of the movable scroll support member with the thrust bearing member can be weakened, so the frictional force between the thrust bearing member and the movable scroll support member can be reduced, and wear of the thrust bearing member can be prevented. it can.
The thrust bearing member is preferably made of a material different from that of the movable scroll and the movable scroll support member. In such a configuration, the frictional force on the contact surface between the thrust bearing member, the movable scroll, and the scroll support member can be reduced, so that galling can be effectively prevented.
The through hole is preferably provided at a substantially central portion of the thrust bearing member. According to such a configuration, the lubricating oil that has flowed from the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member into the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side through the through hole is placed on the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side. It can supply uniformly to each taper groove.
The through hole is preferably reduced in diameter from the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member toward the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side. According to such a configuration, since the pressure of the lubricating oil passing through the through hole can be increased, the lubricating oil can be reliably supplied to the sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the non-movable scroll side.
It is preferable that the taper groove is linearly extended from the central portion of the thrust bearing member toward the outer periphery in the radial direction of the thrust bearing member. According to such a configuration, for example, the taper grooves can be provided radially from the central portion of the thrust bearing member, so that the entire sliding surface on the movable scroll side and the non-movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member An oil film can be formed.
The driving source of the compression mechanism is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a built-in motor. When the scroll compressor is used in a refrigeration system for a vehicle air conditioner, a vehicle prime mover, such as a vehicle drive motor, an engine, or the like can be used as a drive source.
It is preferable that the movable scroll support member constitutes a part of the pressure vessel housing and is formed so that the outer diameter is substantially the same as that of the housing member located on both sides or one side thereof. In such a configuration, at least a part of the scroll support member is formed to be exposed to the outside of the scroll compressor, and the movable scroll support member is cooled by the outside air, etc., so that overheating of the scroll support member is effective. Can be prevented.
The scroll compressor according to the present invention is particularly suitable for a scroll compressor using carbon dioxide compressed to a supercritical state as a fluid to be compressed, but uses other alternative refrigerants and lubricating oil for the alternative refrigerants. It can also be applied to scroll compressors.
Further, the scroll compressor according to the present invention can be suitably used particularly for a refrigeration system using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant.
According to such a scroll compressor according to the present invention, the oil film surface can be reliably formed and held on the sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the movable scroll side and the entire sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the non-movable scroll side. Accordingly, wear of the thrust bearing member is prevented and smooth slidability is ensured, so that the reliability and durability of the scroll compressor can be improved and the coefficient of performance (COP) of the scroll compressor can be improved. Furthermore, since the required power during the operation of the scroll compressor is reduced by ensuring smooth slidability of the thrust bearing member, it can contribute to energy saving. Furthermore, compared to a conventional thrust bearing member in which a spiral groove is formed, the structure is simplified and the machining is easy, which can contribute to the cost reduction of the entire apparatus.
The thrust bearing member can be formed of a disk-shaped member, but can be formed in an elliptical shape or a polygonal shape, for example. If the thrust bearing member is formed in an elliptical shape or a polygonal shape, the thrust bearing member housed in the recess of the scroll support member can be prevented from rotating, so that the possibility of wear of the thrust bearing member can be more reliably eliminated. Can do.
If a crowning shape in which a curved surface is formed in a direction away from the movable scroll is added to the sliding surface in the outer peripheral portion of the thrust bearing member other than the taper groove on the movable scroll side, the movable bearing is allowed to hit the thrust bearing member. Since it can be weakened, wear of the thrust bearing member can be reliably prevented. In the present invention, a configuration in which a taper groove is also provided on the sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the non-movable scroll side can be adopted. If the sliding surface on the outer peripheral portion of the portion is provided with a crowning shape in which a curved surface is formed in a direction away from the movable scroll support member, the contact of the movable scroll support member with the thrust bearing member can be weakened. The wear of the member can be prevented more reliably.
In addition, if the thrust bearing member is made of a material different from that of the movable scroll and the movable scroll support member, the frictional force on the contact surface between the thrust bearing member, the movable scroll and the scroll support member can be reduced, thereby effectively preventing galling. can do.
The through hole is preferably provided at a substantially central portion of the thrust bearing member. In such a configuration, for example, the lubricating oil that has flowed from the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member into the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side through the through hole is caused by the sliding of the thrust bearing member. It can be uniformly supplied to the entire taper groove on the sliding surface on the counter-movable scroll side.
Further, if the through hole is formed in a shape that is reduced in diameter from the sliding surface on the movable scroll side of the thrust bearing member toward the sliding surface on the non-movable scroll side, the pressure of the lubricating oil passing through the through hole is increased. Therefore, the lubricating oil can be reliably supplied to the sliding surface of the thrust bearing member on the non-movable scroll side.
If the taper groove is linearly extended from the center portion of the scroll support member toward the outer periphery in the radial direction of the scroll support member, the taper groove can be provided radially from the center portion of the thrust bearing member. Lubricating oil is supplied to both sliding surfaces so that an oil film can be formed reliably.
If the movable scroll support member constitutes a part of the pressure vessel housing and the outer diameter of the housing member located on both sides or one side thereof is formed to be substantially the same diameter, at least a part of the scroll support member of the scroll compressor is formed. Since the movable scroll support member is formed to be exposed to the outside and cooled by outside air or the like, overheating of the scroll support member can be effectively prevented.

In the present embodiment, the sliding
Further, since the
Since the through-
Further, since the through
Further, in the present embodiment, the
In addition, the movable
The scroll compressor according to the present invention is particularly suitable for a scroll compressor that uses carbon dioxide that is compressed to a critical state as a fluid to be compressed.
