Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the design of a warehouse layout.
An object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily design a warehouse layout and work flow line independently of a host controller.
An additional problem in the invention of
The present invention includes means for storing a warehouse layout and work flow lines, storage means for stock, and work instruction means for issuing a work instruction to a worker or a loading / unloading device in response to a request for loading / unloading. A controller for designing the layout of the warehouse, a means for designing the work flow of the worker or the loading / unloading device, and a means for sending the designed layout and the work flow to the host controller. The warehouse management system is provided with a warehouse design apparatus, and the layout and work flow line designed by the warehouse design apparatus are ported to the host controller.
The invention also includes a warehouse layout design means, an operator or work flow line design means for the warehouse, and a means for sending the designed layout and work flow lines to an external controller. Located in warehouse design equipment. This warehouse design apparatus can be realized by an appropriate personal computer or the like, and is preferably physically independent of the host controller, but may be provided in the same computer using the resources of the host controller.
The present invention is further a program to be executed by a computer having a communication means, an instruction for designing a layout of a warehouse, an instruction for designing a work flow line of an operator or a loading / unloading device, and The warehouse design program includes a designed layout and instructions for sending work flow lines to an external controller.
Preferably, in the warehouse design device, a means for receiving a work instruction or an entry / exit instruction from a host controller, and a means for simulating the received work instruction or an entry / exit instruction by the designed layout and work flow line, and Is further provided.
In this invention, a warehouse layout and work flow line can be designed by a warehouse design device independent of the host controller. For this reason,
・ There are no restrictions on the layout or work flow input method on the host controller.
・ The design results are not reflected on the host controller until satisfactory results are obtained.
・ You can design warehouse layouts and work flow lines at remote locations.
Etc. are obtained.
Here, if the work result from the designed layout and work flow line is simulated using the work instruction and the entry / exit instruction from the host controller, the design performance can be evaluated before transplantation to the host controller. In the simulation, an operation instruction close to an actual entry / exit operation or an entry / exit instruction can be used.
In the following, an optimum embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be shown.
1 to 7 show a warehouse management system of an embodiment. In the figure,
The floor
The work flow
In the simulation, for example, an actual work position and required time are received from the
In the embodiment, the arrangement of areas and zones and the arrangement of warehouse equipment are collectively referred to as layout data, and the warehouse design is made up of work flow line data and layout data. The determined warehouse design is transmitted to the input /
The
Figure 2 shows the warehouse design process. The floor
Next, the
The work flow
The status of the simulation is displayed on the monitor 8 as if the worker moved on the designed layout, for example, and when the simulation is completed, data such as a required time is output. As a result, the designed layout and work flow line are evaluated, and when a satisfactory result is obtained, the designed layout and work flow line are ported to the host controller. If a satisfactory result is not obtained, the process returns to the desired step of FIG. 2 to change the layout and work flow line design.
3 to 6 show the layout and work flow on the monitor 8 during the design process, and FIG. 3 shows the completed floor design. The location of the pillars and logistics offices, next to the elevators and elevators. The arrangement of stairs is described. FIG. 4 shows a screen in which an area is designated for the floor of FIG. 3, for example, a flat placement area is provided at the top, and pallet rack areas are provided for four rows of pallet racks on the left side of the screen. FIG. 5 shows an example of dividing the flat area into zones, and zone numbers are written for the flat area. The area may be divided in a plane or may be divided in three dimensions by adding a division in the height direction such as high / middle / low.
FIG. 6 shows a work flow line design screen. For example, picking is performed in the flat placement area from the starting point in the upper right of the screen, picking in the pallet rack area is completed, and the goods are discharged from the lower center of the screen. Different work flow lines may be designed for warehousing, delivery, and replenishment, and a plurality of work flow lines may be designed for the same kind of work such as warehousing.
