Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painting implement for making taking a composition easy by drawing a composition or contours of painting objects by looking through a transparent describing board. <P>SOLUTION: A composition or contours of painting subject looked through a transparent drawing board are directly plotted on the transparent drawing board by using an erasable marker. （ロ）透明分割スケール（２）は実際によく描かれるキャンバス規格、例えばＦ１０号、Ｆ８号、Ｆ６号、Ｆ４，Ｐ１０号など、その夫々異なる縦対横の比率に対応して縦および横の分割線を引いた分割スケールとする。
（ハ）切口窓（４ａ）を設けた周囲が黒色の額縁マスク（４）は構図範囲の広狭に対応して視野を調整するもので分割スケール（２）の目盛単位で作成する。又 自由な構図を取るための自由構図マスク（５）を、図面上においてはＬ字状のマスクを示したが、この形状は特定するものでなく楕円の切り口窓のマスクを始め複数の形態から構成される。
（ニ） 白色不透明板（６）は透明描写板（１）に重ね合わせて、描かれた構図を鮮明にする
本発明は、以上のような構成で、これを使用するとき、
（イ）把手（８）を透明描写板（１）に取り付ける、すなわち把手取り付けボルト（９）を把手取り付け穴（７）に差し込んで、把手取り付けネジ（１０）を締めて取り付ける。なお同時に把手固定凸（１１）を凸受け穴（１２）に合わせて固定する。
（ロ）先ず、実際のスケッチを始める前に、透明描写板（１）を透かして風景などのスケッチ対象を見渡し、スケッチ対象の探求および選択を行う。
（ハ）探求に際しては
（ａ）透明描写板（１）を縦又は横にして透視し、縦又は横の構図を決める
（ｂ）透明描写板（１）を目に近かづけて対象を広く捉えたり、遠ざけて狭く捉えたりし、必要に応じて額縁マスク（４）又は自由構図マスク（５）を利用する。この場合キャンバス・サイズの規格又は自由サイズを念頭に置いて構図範囲を決める。
（ｃ）必要に応じて、この段階から透明分割スケール（２）を用いて、スケッチの中心に何を捉えるか、空はどの程度入れるか、屋根の角度はどの程度の傾きか、目線の高さはどの位置にするのかなどスケッチの重要な要素を掴むことに活用する。
（ニ）実際に構図を描写するには、透明描写板（１）を透視して、見えた通りに対象の重要な形態、形状、配置などを、消去可能なホワイトボード用マーカーなどを用いて、直接当該透明描写板（１）に描写（１８）する。所要時間はおおむね数分で済む。この場合、透明描写板（１）の揺れまたは位置のずれを防ぐため、イーゼル（１３）またはカメラの三脚（１６）に把手（８）を取り付けることが望ましいが、大掴みに構図を掴むことで足りるときは手持ちでも良い。なお把手（８）をイーゼルに取り付けるには、イーゼル取り付け部（１５）をホース・バンド（１４）を以って緊縛するのが適当であり、カメラの三脚雲台（１６）は把手（８）の三脚取り付けＷ １／４ネジ穴（１７）に取り付ける。
（ホ）構図の描写を終えたら、透明描写板（１）をイーゼル（１３）または三脚（１６）からはずして、取り扱い易くし、描かれた構図を明確にするため白色不透明板（６）を透明描写板（１）に重ね合わせて、描写された構図を明確にする。なお白色不透明板に替え他の薄めの色の不透明板を用いることも、色調を見るため有効である。
（ヘ）明確になった構図を画面分割するため、透明分割スケール（２）を透明描写板（１）と白色不透明板（６）の間に入れて構図の画面分割を行い、これにより構図の重要な形態、形状および配置などを更に詳しく掴むことが出来る。一方この分割に比例した線をキャンバスまたはスケッチ・ブックなどに薄く引き、透明描写板（１）に描いた構図に従って当該キャンバス又はスケッチ・ブックなどに描き写す。 つまり、これによって当該スケッチの土台となる客観的な基本構図を容易に掴むことができる。 また構図をデフォルメするとしても，この基本構図が前提となる。
なお、透明描写板（１）に描いた構図だけでも相当に構図感覚が得られるので経験を積めば キャンバスやスケッチ・ブックに比例分割線を引かないで済むことになる。
