Description

The present invention relates to an improvement in a fluid flow channel connecting device.

2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional fluid flow path connecting device, a device that connects a paint supply source side and a paint supply path side of a paint feeding system that uses paint as a fluid is known (for example, see Patent Document 1). .

FIG. 8 of Patent Document 1 will be described with reference to FIG. In addition, the code | symbol was reassigned.
FIG. 12 is an explanatory diagram of a conventional fluid flow path connecting device. A small amount paint feeding system 400 is provided at an extrusion means 402 for extruding paint in a paint cartridge 401 and a paint discharge port of the paint cartridge 401. A connection means 407 for connecting the basic coupler 404 for painting to the paint coupler 403, or connecting the cleaning coupler 406 for cleaning to the basic coupler 404, and for communicating the basic coupler 404 and the coating machine 408 with each other. And a paint pipe 411.

Next, the operation of the above-described small amount paint feeding system 400 will be described.
In order to perform painting, the connecting means 407 is operated to connect the paint coupler 403 and the basic coupler 404 on the paint cartridge 401 side, and the pushing means 402 is operated to apply the paint in the paint cartridge 401 to the paint coupler 403 and the basic coupler 404. The paint is supplied to the coating machine 408 through the connection with the coupler 404 and the paint pipe 411. Thereby, a coating material is injected from the coating machine 408, and coating is performed.

In order to perform cleaning, the connecting means 407 is operated to connect the basic coupler 404 and the cleaning coupler 406, and the cleaning liquid is supplied from the cleaning liquid supply means (not shown) attached to the cleaning coupler 406. 404 is supplied to the coating machine 408 through the connection portion 404 and the paint pipe 411. As a result, the paint supply path is cleaned.

When the paint coupler 403 and the basic coupler 404 are separated after the painting is finished, the paint accumulated in the connection between the paint coupler 403 and the basic coupler 404 remains attached to the connection if the amount is small. There is a problem that droops when the amount increases.

Since the basic coupler 404 can only be connected to the cleaning coupler 406 after being removed from the paint coupler 403, the connecting portion cannot be cleaned before the paint coupler 403 and the basic coupler 404 are separated.

In addition, when the paint cartridge 401 is used to finish painting and then the paint cartridge 401 is replaced with a paint cartridge containing a paint having a different color, the basic coupler 404 is connected to the cleaning coupler 406 and the basic coupler 404 is connected. The entire paint supply route to the coating machine 408 is washed. For example, when the paint cartridge is immediately replaced with a paint cartridge containing the same color paint, the paint coupler 403 is easily dried by touching the outside air at the time of connection. Although only the connection portion with the basic coupler 404 needs to be cleaned, the small-amount paint feeding system 400 has a structure for cleaning the entire paint supply path, so that the cleaning becomes inefficient.
Furthermore, in order to perform cleaning, a cleaning station in which the cleaning coupler 406 is installed is necessary, resulting in an increase in the size of the apparatus.

An object of the present invention is to provide a fluid flow path connecting device that can prevent dripping of a fluid such as paint, can be efficiently cleaned, and can be downsized.

The invention according to claim 1 is a female coupling member having a first connection portion on the bottom surface as a connection portion of a flow path through which fluid such as paint flows, and a connection portion of the flow path connected to the first connection portion. Separation means capable of stopping at a position is provided.

As a function, in order to clean the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion of the female coupling member and the male coupling member, the first coupling is performed by separating the female coupling member and the male coupling member by a predetermined distance by the separating means. The cleaning fluid is allowed to flow through the section and the second connection section. As a result, the fluid such as paint that adheres to or accumulates on the first connection portion and the second connection portion is washed away with the cleaning fluid. Therefore, when the female coupling member and the male coupling member are separated to a position where the seal member does not fit the inner peripheral surface, fluid such as paint does not spill outside.

To can be prevented from remaining. Therefore, when the female coupling member and the male coupling member are separated from the female coupling member and the male coupling member to a position where the seal member is not fitted to the inner peripheral surface, fluid such as paint drips outside. It can prevent falling.

Furthermore, since only the first connection portion and the second connection portion can be cleaned, the amount of the cleaning fluid used is small, and the cleaning can be performed efficiently. Furthermore, since the female coupling member and the male coupling member can be cleaned in a state where they are separated from each other by a predetermined distance, it is not necessary to provide a special cleaning station, and the apparatus can be downsized.

A third needle valve 227 penetrating through the member 222 and having a leading end abutted against the female taper 222a of the end member 222, and the piston 226 is urged to press the third needle valve 227 against the female taper 222a. It consists of a spring 228 and a nut member 231 that fixes the stepped cylinder member 223 to the third lateral hole 221. Reference numeral 234 denotes a nut member for attaching the piston 226 to the end of the third needle valve 227, 235 denotes a seal member attached to the outer peripheral portion of the piston 226, and 241 to 248 denote O-rings.

The end member 222 constitutes the paint supply passage 17 and accommodates the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 so as to be movable. The end member 222 constitutes the paint supply passage 17 and communicates with the valve chamber 251. A paint passage 252 (a passage constituting the paint supply passage 17), a cleaning fluid supply passage 66 constituting a cleaning fluid supply passage 66 and having a diameter larger than that of the third needle valve 227, and a cleaning fluid supply The member is formed with an in-valve cleaning fluid passage 254 that constitutes the passage 66 and communicates with the cleaning fluid passage 253, and a female taper 222b to which the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 is applied.

When the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 hits the female taper 222a of the end member 222 and the head 227a is separated from the female taper 222b, the paint supply passage 17 is closed and the cleaning fluid supply passage 66 is opened. Is in a state. Note that 222 c is an opening of the end member 222.

When the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 is separated from the female taper 222a of the end member 222 and the head 227a hits the female taper 222b, the paint supply passage 17 is opened and the cleaning fluid supply passage 66 is Closed.

The air chamber 261 formed by the partition member 224 and the piston 226 is a space to which compressed air is supplied from the compressed air supply unit 262 via the air passage 263. In the state shown in the figure, compressed air is supplied to the air chamber 261. Since it is not supplied, the piston 226 is moved to the right by the elastic force of the spring 228, the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 moving integrally with the piston 226 is separated from the female taper 222b, The cleaning fluid supply passage 66 is open and the paint supply passage 17 is closed.

When compressed air is supplied to the air chamber 261, the pressure in the air chamber 261 increases, and the piston 226 moves to the left in the figure against the elastic force of the spring 228. The three-needle valve 227 moves, the head 227a of the third needle valve 227 moves away from the female taper 222a, the paint supply passage 17 is opened, and the cleaning fluid supply passage 66 is closed.

As described above, the second valve 21 communicates with the paint supply passage 17 from the first valve 18 to the coating gun 16, and is cleaned from the cleaning fluid supply unit 78 through the cleaning fluid supply passage 66 to the coating gun 16. This is a three-way valve that switches the communication of the fluid supply passage.

Reference numeral 277 denotes a compressed air supply unit that supplies compressed air to the air chamber 131 via the air passage 278.

Next, the operation of the paint supply apparatus 10 described above will be described.
7 (a) to 7 (c) are operation diagrams showing how to attach the paint cartridge to the paint supply apparatus according to the present invention.
In (a), with the first valve device 22 retracted by the first cylinder device 31 and the second valve device 26 retracted by the second cylinder device 32, the coating cartridge 13 is lowered as indicated by the white arrow. The coating cartridge 13 is placed on the cartridge fixing portion 14 as shown in FIG.

In (c), as indicated by the white arrow, the first valve device 22 and the second valve device 26 are advanced by the first cylinder device 31 and the second cylinder device 32, respectively, and connected to the coating cartridge 13. This completes the mounting of the paint cartridge 13 in the paint supply apparatus 10.

FIG. 8 is an operation diagram showing the operation of supplying paint by the paint supply apparatus according to the present invention.
When the fluid 23 is supplied from the fluid supply unit 28A to the first chamber 47 of the paint cartridge 13 via the second valve device 26, the pressure in the first chamber 47 increases, and the free piston 46 is indicated by a white arrow. Since it moves to the left in the figure, the paint 12 in the second chamber 48 is pushed out, reaches the paint gun 16 through the paint supply passage 17 and is sprayed from the paint gun 16 as indicated by an arrow.

FIGS. 9 (a) and 9 (b) are operational views showing a procedure for cleaning the connecting portion between the first valve device and the paint cartridge according to the present invention.
In (a), the third cylinder device 33 is operated, the third rod 33c is advanced as indicated by a white arrow, the tip of the third rod 33c is applied to the stopper 77, and further advanced.

As a result, the connecting portion main body 71 of the first connecting portion 68 moves to the left in the drawing as indicated by the white arrow.
ST in the figure is the total stroke amount of the third rod 33c, and the total stroke amount ST is the clearance C between the tip of the third rod 33c and the stopper 77 before the third rod 33c advances, and the third rod 33c. Is the sum of the stroke amount α after the tip of the contact with the stopper.

図中のCLは接続部52Aと接続部17AとのクリアランスCL(即ち、バルブシート121,171間のクリアランスLである。) In (b), with the movement of the connecting portion main body 71, the first valve device 22 moves to the left in the figure as indicated by the white arrow. As a result, a space 115 is formed between the connecting portion 52A on the paint passage valve 53 side and the connecting portion 17A on the first valve 18 side, as described with reference to FIG. CL in the figure is a clearance CL between the connecting portion 52A and the connecting portion 17A (that is, the clearance L between the valve seats 121 and 171), and is equal to the stroke amount α described above.

Next, a cleaning fluid is allowed to flow from the cleaning fluid supply section 78 into the space 115 through the cleaning fluid supply passage 65 as indicated by an arrow, and the space 115 is cleaned with the cleaning fluid and used for cleaning. The cleaning fluid flows and accumulates in the cleaning fluid tank 83 via the cleaning fluid discharge passage 67 as indicated by an arrow.

FIG. 10 is an operation diagram showing the cleaning procedure of the paint supply passage 17 according to the present invention.
With the space 115 (see FIG. 9B) formed between the paint passage valve 53 and the first valve 18, the first valve 18 and the second valve 21 are opened, and the cleaning fluid is used for cleaning. The fluid supply section 78 flows to the cleaning fluid supply passage 65, the space 115, the first valve 18 and the second valve 21, and further flows to the coating gun 16 to clean the coating material supply passage 17.

Further, another cleaning procedure for the paint supply passage 17 will be described below.
In FIG. 1, the cleaning fluid flows from the cleaning fluid supply unit 78 to the cleaning fluid supply passages 81, 91, 66 in order, and in FIG. 5, the cleaning fluid passages 254, 253 in the second valve 21, The paint is supplied to the chamber 251 and the paint passage 252 in the valve in order, and further to the paint gun 16 to clean the paint supply passage 17.

As described above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, by providing the connection device 118 that connects the paint passage 52 on the paint cartridge 13 side and the paint supply passage 17 on the first valve device 22 side, a female coupling member is provided. 112 and the male coupling member 111 are separated by a predetermined clearance CL by a separating device 107 as a separating means, and a cleaning fluid is caused to flow through the connecting portion 17A as the first connecting portion and the connecting portion 52A as the second connecting portion. The paint 12 adhered to or accumulated in the connection portion 17A and the connection portion 52A can be washed away with the cleaning fluid, and the paint 12 can be prevented from solidifying and remaining in the connection portion 17A and the connection portion 52A. Therefore, the female coupling member 112 and the male coupling member 111, and the female coupling member 112 and the male coupling member up to a position where the seal assembly 114 as a sealing member is not fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the female coupling member 112. It is possible to prevent the paint 12 from dripping to the outside when 111 is separated.

Furthermore, since only the connecting portion 17A and the connecting portion 52A can be cleaned, the amount of cleaning fluid used can be reduced and cleaning can be performed efficiently. Furthermore, since the female coupling member 112 and the male coupling member 111 can be cleaned while being separated by a predetermined clearance CL, there is no need to provide a special cleaning station, and the apparatus can be miniaturized.

FIGS. 11A to 11C are schematic views showing another embodiment of the structure of the connecting portion between the paint cartridge and the first valve device according to the present invention and the operation thereof. The same components as those in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3A to 3C are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
In (a), the paint cartridge 270 includes a male coupling member 111 and a cylindrical guide portion 271 that protrudes so as to cover the periphery of the male coupling member 111. The first valve device 275 includes a female A mold coupling member 112 and a cylindrical guided portion 276 attached to the outer peripheral portion of the female coupling member 112, and the guided portion 276 is guided by the guide portion 271 to be fitted thereto, The male coupling member 111 and the female coupling member 112 are formed so as to be fitted.

In the state (b), the first cylinder device 31 (see FIG. 1) is operated to advance the female coupling member 112 as indicated by the white arrow. That is, (b) shows that the female coupling member 112 and the male coupling member 111 are coupled while the guided portion 276 is guided by the guide portion 271, and the connecting portion 17 </ b> A and the connecting portion 52 </ b> A are connected to each other. It shows that the paint passage 52 on the side communicates with the paint supply passage 17 on the first valve device 275 side.

FIG. 2C shows the state where the female coupling member 112 is indicated by the white arrow while the guided portion 276 is guided by the guide portion 271 by the operation of the separating device 107 (see FIG. 2). It slightly recedes, indicating that a space 115 has been formed between the connecting portion 52A and the connecting portion 17A.

As described in the above (a) to (c), the male coupling member 111 is provided with the guide portion 271 that fits to the outer peripheral portion of the female coupling member 112.
Accordingly, when the female coupling member 112 and the male coupling member 111 are connected, the seal assembly 114 as a seal member is perpendicular to the axis due to the fitting between the guide portion 271 and the outer peripheral surface of the female coupling member 112. (It is a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the female coupling member 112, for example, in the vertical direction in the figure) and is difficult to sway, and the seal assembly 114 can be smoothly applied to the inner peripheral surface of the female coupling member 112. Can be fitted.

Further, when the seal assembly 114 does not fit on the inner peripheral surface of the female coupling member 112, the seal assembly 114 can be protected by the guide portion 271.
From the above, it is possible to prevent the seal assembly 114 from being greatly worn or damaged.

In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the seal assembly 114 includes the two O-rings 156 and 156, but the present invention is not limited to this, and only one O-ring 156 may be provided.

The fluid flow path connecting device of the present invention is suitable for a paint supply device.
