基布と多数のパイルを備えてなり、前記各パイルの基部が基布に結合された状態で、前記多数のパイルが基布上に配設されているパイルマットであって、
前記各パイルは、略円柱形状をなし、0.05乃至0.8デニールの非吸水性のフィラメントが、パイルの軸線を中心としてほぼ径方向に放射状をなすように密設され且つ軸線方向に密設されてなり、
前記パイルの略円柱形状外周面は、前記各フィラメントの先端部により形成されていることを特徴とする高吸水高乾燥性パイルマット。
