Description

The present invention relates to an electric wire cover that is attached to, for example, an electric wire connected to a connector.

As this type of wire cover, for example, the one described in Patent Document 1 below is known. This is a structure in which an electric wire holding portion addressed to a bent portion of an electric wire drawn out from the connector is provided, and the electric wire holding portion is fixed to the connector housing by an elastic engagement piece.

By the way, the connector may be arranged in a place where other parts are densely arranged around the periphery and there is little space. In such a case, since the connector housing is miniaturized as much as possible, the connector housing cannot be provided with a wire cover lock structure, and the wire cover is not a connector but is fixed to the mating member to which the connector is attached. The structure must be adopted.

For example, a connector mounted on a switch for detecting operation of a door handle in a vehicle door has a complicated and dense internal structure of the door. Instead, the structure is such that the connector is fixed to a mating member in the door to which the connector is attached.
JP 2004-348888 A

However, even if the electric wire cover is fixed to the mating member to which the connector is attached as described above, there is not enough space in the door, so the tip of the elastic engagement piece of the electric wire cover faces the mating member. In this case, it is sufficient to secure an approach path for insertion, and it is not possible to secure a marginal space around the elastic engagement piece engaged with the counterpart member. For this reason, even when it is necessary to remove the connector and thus the wire cover for repair and inspection, a jig such as a flathead screwdriver for releasing the engagement of the elastic engagement piece is still There is no other way than to insert it straight from the base end to the back, and there is a problem that the disengagement operation of the elastic engagement piece is very difficult and the workability is extremely poor.

The present invention has been completed based on the above-described circumstances, and the wire pressing portion can be easily removed from the mating member by inserting a disengaging jig from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece of the wire pressing portion. It is intended to be able to be removed.

As means for achieving the above object, the invention of claim 1 is an electric wire cover for bending an electric wire drawn out from a connector in a direction different from the drawing direction, and is a connector side fixed to the connector. An elastic engagement provided with a fixing part, an electric wire pressing part addressed to the electric wire, a connecting part for connecting the connector side fixing part and the electric wire pressing part, and the electric wire pressing part having an engaging part A piece is protruded, and the wire holding portion can be fixed to the counterpart member by engaging the engaging portion with the engaged portion provided in the counterpart member to which the connector is attached. A jig inserted from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece is hooked on the distal end of the elastic engagement piece to release the engagement between the engagement portion and the engaged portion of the elastic engagement piece. Hook for disengagement that can be displaced in the direction Characterized in place where the structure is provided.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the one according to the first aspect, the mating member is provided with a pair of engaging wall portions each provided with the engaged portion, facing each other, and the elastic engaging piece. Are provided in pairs so as to be fitted to both the engagement wall pairs from the outside, and each elastic engagement piece enters the inside of each engagement wall portion pair to enter the elastic engagement. It is characterized in that an auxiliary wall that sandwiches each of the engaging wall portions with a piece is integrally provided.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, the engaging portion of the elastic engaging piece is formed as an engaging hole, and the engaged portion of the engaging wall portion is an engaging protrusion. It is characterized by being formed.

<Invention of Claim 1>
According to invention of Claim 1, a jig | tool can be inserted from the base end side of an elastic engagement piece, and the front-end | tip of a jig | tool can be hooked on a hook part. Thereby, the engagement can be released by displacing the elastic engagement piece in the direction of releasing the engagement between the engagement portion and the engaged portion. Therefore, the elastic engagement piece can be removed from the counterpart member by inserting a jig from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece.

<Invention of Claim 2>
According to the invention of claim 2, the engagement wall portion can be sandwiched between the elastic engagement piece and the auxiliary wall. Therefore, the engaged state between the engaging portion and the engaged portion can be maintained. Even if the elastic engagement piece is bent outward and deformed, the elastic engagement piece is less likely to bend than when the elastic engagement piece is provided separately from the auxiliary wall. There is no possibility that the engagement with the part is easily released.

<Invention of Claim 3>
If the engaging portion is an engaging protrusion and the engaged portion is an engaging hole, the engaging force between the engaging protrusion and the engaging hole is the depth dimension of the engaging hole, that is, the engagement It is determined by the thickness of the wall. Here, in order to further increase the engagement force, it is necessary to make the elastic engagement piece thinner and make the engagement wall portion thicker accordingly. However, if the thickness of the elastic engagement piece is reduced, the elastic force is lowered, and the significance of providing the auxiliary wall integrally with the elastic engagement piece is lost. In that respect, according to the invention of claim 3, the depth dimension of the engagement hole can be gained by building up the elastic engagement piece on the side opposite to the engagement wall portion. Therefore, the engagement force can be increased without reducing the elastic force of the elastic engagement piece.

本発明における電線カバー1は、相手側部材40に取り付けられているコネクタ(図示しない)の電線引き出し面から引き出された電線W(実際には複数の電線Wを束ねて構成された電線群であるものの、以下の説明においては、単に電線Wという。)
<Embodiment>
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The electric wire cover 1 in the present invention is an electric wire W (actually an electric wire group configured by bundling a plurality of electric wires W) drawn from an electric wire drawing surface of a connector (not shown) attached to the counterpart member 40. However, in the following description, the electric wire W is simply bent in a direction different from the drawing direction and led out in a predetermined direction. FIG. 1 is a view of the electric wire cover 1 as seen from the bottom surface side, and an electric wire W (not shown) is arranged on the bottom surface side of the electric wire cover 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, the wire cover 1 includes a connector-side fixing portion 10 that is fixed to a connector, a wire pressing portion 20 that is fixed to a mating member 40, a connector-side fixing portion 10, and a wire pressing portion 20. And a connecting portion 30 to be connected. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 6, the mating member 40 has a pair of engaging wall portions 41 provided in an opposed state, and opposed to both engaging projections 41 at the end portions of both engaging wall portions 41. And a pair of engaging protrusions (corresponding to engaged parts in the present invention) 42 protruding from the surface opposite to the surface. In the following description, the up and down direction is the upper side with respect to the direction orthogonal to the paper surface in FIG. 1, the front and rear direction is the front with the right side in the drawing as the reference in the left and right direction in FIG. The vertical direction in FIG.

The connector side fixing portion 10 has a pair of side plates 11 arranged in an opposing state in the width direction, and has a configuration in which these upper ends are connected by an upper end wall 12. A fixing plate 13 protruding rearward is integrally formed on the outer surface of each side plate 11, and the fixing plate 13 is provided with a fixing groove 14 cut upward from the lower edge of the fixing plate 13. . The fixing groove 14 can fix the connector side fixing portion 10 to the connector by engaging with a locking protrusion (not shown) provided in the connector.

As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting portion 30 includes a flexible bending portion 31 that extends forward from the front end edge of the upper end wall 12, and a wire restraining portion 32 that is connected to the front end edge portion of the bending portion 31. It is composed of The width dimension of the bending part 31 is set to be slightly smaller than the distance between the both side plates 11 of the housing side fixing part 10. When the bending portion 31 is bent toward the mating member 40 side, the bending portion 31 is arranged between the both side plates 11, and a bending housing portion including the inner side surface of the both side plates 11 and the inner surface of the bending portion 31 is formed. ing.

The electric wire restraint portion 32 has a column shape and is formed so as not to bend. This electric wire restraint part 32 is wound with the electric wire W by a binding band (not shown). Therefore, when the wire holding portion 20 bends the bending portion 31 and bends toward the mating member 40 (the front side in FIG. 1), the bent portion of the electric wire W is accommodated inside the bending accommodating portion. The

The wire pressing portion 20 includes a substrate portion 21 having a substantially rectangular shape whose rear end edge portion is connected to the wire restraining portion 32, and four side walls that protrude from the both side edges to the front and rear sides and project downward. ing. Among these side walls, the front side walls are a pair of guide protrusions 22, and the rear side walls are a pair of elastic engagement pieces 23.
Both guide protrusions 22 protrude downward from the front end side both side edges of the substrate part 21 in an opposed state. The protrusion height of the guide protrusion 22 is set to be substantially the same as or slightly larger than the diameter dimension of the electric wire W. When the electric wire W is in a bent state, the lower surface of the substrate portion 21 is addressed to the electric wire W by the elastic force of the electric wire W. Therefore, the electric wire W is disposed between the guide protrusions 22. Thus, the electric wire W can be reliably led out from the front end of the substrate portion 21.

Both elastic engagement pieces 23 are directed downward from both side edges of the rear end side of the base plate portion 21 in a facing state, and downward from the outer surface of the lower end of the bending control portion 23A. It is comprised from the bending | flexion permission part 23B which protruded in the cantilever shape. The bending allowance portion 23B includes a pair of support arms 23B1 that project in a pair so as to sandwich the engagement protrusion 42, and a construction portion 23B2 that is constructed by integrally connecting the tips of both support arms 23B1. As a whole, it is U-shaped. The upper surface of the erection part 23B2 is set at a position protruding downward from the lower surface of the deflection restricting part 23A, and is composed of both inner side surfaces of both support arms 23B1, the upper surface of the erection part 23B2, and the lower surface of the deflection restricting part 23A. An engagement hole (corresponding to an engagement portion in the present invention) 25 is formed. The engagement hole 25 can be engaged with the engagement protrusion 42 to fix the wire pressing portion 20 to the counterpart member 40.

When the wire holding portion 20 is fixed to the mating member 40, the lower surface of the substrate portion 21 receives an upward elastic force from the electric wire W in the bent state, and the lower surface of the engaging protrusion 42 and the upper surface of the installation portion 23B2. And hit the state. In this state, the distance S is designed to be generated between the lower surface of the side plate 22 and the upper surface of the engagement wall portion 41. The reason for providing this distance S is that the upper surface of the erection part 23B2 is displaced while drawing a swinging locus around the base end side, and when the erection part 23B2 gets over the engagement protrusion 42, it is positioned higher than before the displacement. Is to pass through. Therefore, the interval S is set to such a length that the erected portion 23B2 can get over the locking projection 42 in a state where the lower surface of the side plate 22 and the upper surface of the engaging wall portion 41 are in contact with each other.

A pair of auxiliary walls 24 projecting downward from the substrate portion 21 in a facing state are formed inside the elastic engagement pieces 23. The auxiliary wall 24 includes a facing wall 24A arranged in a state of facing the elastic engagement piece 23, and a regulating wall 24B that extends outward in the width direction from both front and rear side edges of the facing wall 24A and regulates the bending deformation of the facing wall 24A. As a whole, it has a columnar shape with a U-shaped cross section. The lower end of the auxiliary wall 24 is set to a height position that is substantially aligned with the lower end of the bending allowance portion 23B. Further, the outer edge in the width direction of the regulating wall 24B is integrally connected to the deflection regulating portion 23A. Thereby, it is possible to restrict the bending restricting portion 23A from being bent and to bend only the bending allowing portion 23B in the width direction. Furthermore, the elastic force of the bending allowance portion 23B becomes larger than when the bending restriction portion 23A is formed separately from the auxiliary wall 24, and the engagement force between the engagement hole 25 and the engagement protrusion 42 is increased. Can do. The distance between the inner surface of the bending allowance portion 23B and the side end of the regulating wall 24B is set to be approximately the same as or slightly larger than the thickness dimension of the engagement wall portion 41.

A protruding portion 27 protruding outward in the width direction is formed on the outer surface of the erection portion 23B2 of the bending allowance portion 23B, and the protruding portion 27 is hooked through in the vertical direction (the protruding direction of the bending allowance portion 23B). A hole 26 (corresponding to the hooking portion in the present invention) 26 is formed. The hook hole 26 is disposed at a position facing the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23, and the tip of a minus driver (corresponding to a jig in the present invention) 50 can be inserted from the base end portion 21 side. Is set to a large size. Accordingly, the minus driver 50 is inserted from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23 and hooked on the hook hole 26, and the bending allowance portion 23 </ b> B is engaged in the width direction outer side (the engagement hole 25 and the engagement protrusion 42 are engaged with each other). In the direction of release). The reason why the hook hole 26 is disposed at a position facing the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23 is that the hook hole 26 is disposed at a position where the hook hole 26 cannot be seen from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23. In this case, even if the minus driver 50 is inserted from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23, it is difficult to insert the tip of the minus driver 50 into the hooking hole 26.

The present embodiment has the structure as described above, and its operation will be described subsequently.
First, the attachment of the wire holding part 20 to the mating member 40 will be described. When the electric wire pressing portion 20 is pushed toward the engaging protrusion 42, the bending portion 31 is bent and the electric wire W is bent, and the electric wire W is applied to the lower surface of the substrate portion 21 by the elastic force of the electric wire W. When the electric wire W is disposed between the guide protrusions 22 and the electric wire pressing portion 20 is further pushed in, the engaging wall portion 41 enters between the bending allowance portion 23B and the auxiliary wall 24, and the bending allowance portion 23B When the tip of the bending allowance 23B climbs over the engagement protrusion 42 while the tip rides on the engagement protrusion 42 and bends the bending allowance 23B outward in the width direction, the bending allowance 23B returns to the engagement hole 25. And the engaging protrusion 42 are engaged. In this way, the wire pressing portion 20 is fixed to the mating member 40.

Next, the removal from the mating member 40 of the wire pressing part 20 will be described. The tip of the minus driver 50 is inserted from the base end side of one elastic engagement piece 23 and inserted into the hooking hole 25. Then, the tip of the minus driver 50 is displaced outward in the width direction, and the engagement between the engagement hole 25 and the engagement protrusion 42 is released. Subsequently, the tip of the minus driver 50 is inserted from the base end side of the other elastic engagement piece 23 and inserted into the hooking hole 25, and the tip of the minus driver 50 is displaced outward in the width direction. By releasing the engagement with the engagement protrusion 42, the wire pressing portion 20 can be removed from the counterpart member 40.

As described above, this embodiment can provide the following effects.
1. The releasing jig 50 can be inserted from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23, and the tip of the minus driver 50 can be hooked in the hooking hole 26. Thereby, the engagement can be released by displacing the elastic engagement piece 23 in the direction in which the engagement between the engagement hole 25 and the engagement protrusion 42 is released. Therefore, it is possible to insert the minus driver 50 from the base end side of the elastic engagement piece 23 and remove the elastic engagement piece 23 from the counterpart member 40.

2. The engagement wall portion 41 can be sandwiched between the elastic engagement piece 23 and the auxiliary wall 24. Therefore, the engagement state between the engagement hole 25 and the engagement protrusion 42 can be maintained. Even if the elastic engagement piece 23 is bent outward and deformed, the elastic engagement piece 23 is less likely to bend than when the elastic engagement piece 23 is provided separately from the auxiliary wall 24. There is no possibility that the engagement between the engagement protrusions 25 and the engagement protrusions 42 is easily released.

3. The depth of the engagement hole 25 can be increased by building up the elastic engagement piece 23 on the side opposite to the engagement wall portion 41. Therefore, the engagement force can be increased without reducing the elastic force of the elastic engagement piece 23.
