Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an optical disc polishing apparatus that removes dirt and scratches on the surface of an optical disc (CD, DVD, CD-R, DVD-R, and the like).
When the surface on the transparent side of a CD or DVD is scratched, it cannot be reproduced, but since data is not recorded on the surface on the transparent side, it can be reproduced by polishing this surface. As such a polishing apparatus, for example, a polishing apparatus described in Patent Document 1 is known, and an optical disk is placed on a turntable that is rotatably installed without having a direct drive source, and an upper part thereof. The abrasive was eccentrically arranged and brought into contact with the abrasive, and the abrasive was rotated to rotate the optical disk by friction with the optical disk. Then, the abrasive is moved in the horizontal direction, or a large-diameter abrasive is fixedly arranged to polish the optical disk.
In recent years, with the widespread use of optical discs, a large number of optical discs with poor reproduction due to wrinkles are increasing, and automatic polishing apparatuses that can perform polishing for a short time and can improve the polishing accuracy while saving human labor are expected.
However, in the apparatus described in Patent Document 1, since a large polishing motor is attached to the polishing material disposed on the top of the optical disk, the weight of the polishing material including the polishing motor is increased and a precise lifting mechanism is provided. There is a problem that it is difficult to have the finish and the finishing accuracy is inferior. In addition, in order to improve the polishing efficiency, the automatic polishing apparatus with a plurality of abrasives has a problem in that it cannot be equipped with a high torque motor due to the weight limit considering the transportability, and is inferior in the automation of the apparatus and the mass polishing. It was.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a turntable on which an optical disk is mounted is directly driven to rotate by a main motor. Further, an abrasive is also attached to a small motor to actively rotate to improve polishing efficiency, and further, a plurality of An object of the present invention is to provide an optical disc polishing apparatus that can easily use an abrasive.

An optical disk polishing apparatus according to a first invention that meets the above-described object is an optical disk turntable that is disposed in a horizontal state and places an optical disk thereon,
A main motor that rotationally drives the optical disc turntable at a high speed;
At least the data of the optical disc is arranged so as to be eccentric and opposed to the optical disc turntable and simultaneously abuts from one side to the surface of the entire data recording portion of the optical disc placed on the optical disc turntable. An abrasive turntable in which a disc-shaped abrasive that polishes the entire surface of the recording unit is attached to the lower side in a replaceable manner,
A small motor whose output is 1/10 or less of that of the main motor, wherein the abrasive turntable is rotationally driven in a direction opposite to the rotational direction of the optical disc turntable;
Elevating means for elevating and lowering the small motor together with the abrasive turntable, comprising a small reduction motor;
A lower case in which the main motor is housed, and the optical disc turntable connected to the output shaft of the main motor is disposed to protrude above the main motor;
A pair of the lower case is pivotally connected via a hinge, the small motor and the lifting means are housed inside, and the abrasive turn connected to the output shaft of the small motor. The table has an upper case that protrudes from the lower part.
The optical disk turntable protruding above the top means that the optical disk turntable protrudes from the ceiling surface (or corresponding part) of the lower case on which the optical disk turntable is projected in plan view. In addition, the fact that the abrasive turntable is protruded at the bottom means that there is a gap between the abrasive turntable and the upper case, and the abrasive turntable is exposed downward.
In addition, a small motor that rotationally drives an abrasive (more specifically, an abrasive turntable) in an auxiliary manner is 1/10 or less of the output of the main motor and is 1/45 or more (more preferably 1/20 or less and 1/35). A small motor having the above output is preferable.
The optical disk polishing apparatus according to the second invention is the optical disk polishing apparatus according to the first invention, wherein the polishing mechanism including the abrasive turntable, the small motor, and the elevating means are in different positions as a pair. Are arranged side by side.
An optical disc polishing apparatus according to a third aspect of the present invention is the optical disc polishing apparatus according to the first and second aspects, wherein the polishing torque of the abrasive is detected by the current value of the main motor and is lowered by the elevating means. It is detected that the abrasive is in contact with the optical disk mounted on the optical disk turntable and that the abrasive is polishing the optical disk with a predetermined pressing force.
An optical disc polishing apparatus according to a fourth aspect of the present invention is the optical disc polishing apparatus according to the first to third aspects of the invention, wherein the radius of the abrasive is larger than the radial length of the data recording portion of the optical disc, and the radius of the optical disc. It is getting smaller.
In the optical disk polishing apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 4, a main motor is attached to an optical disk turntable on which an optical disk is mounted and is driven to rotate, and a power source for rotating the abrasive is 1/10 or less of the main motor. Since a small motor having an output is used, the mechanism for rotationally driving the abrasive and the mechanism for raising and lowering the abrasive are miniaturized.
The optical disc turntable is rotated by the main motor, but the abrasive turntable for mounting the abrasive is also rotated by a small motor as an auxiliary, so the abrasive wear is unevenly worn or the abrasive comes into contact with the optical disc. Can alleviate the impact.
Further, since the optical disc turntable and the abrasive turntable are horizontal, finishing accuracy is improved.
Further, in the optical disk polishing apparatus according to
4. The optical disc polishing apparatus according to claim 3, wherein the polishing torque of the abrasive is detected by the current value of the main motor, the abrasive lowered by the elevating means comes into contact with the optical disc mounted on the optical disc turntable, and the abrasive Detects that the optical disk is being polished with a predetermined pressing force, so that the polishing operation can be automated.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings for understanding of the present invention.

FIG. 5 is an operation flow diagram of the optical disk polishing apparatus.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, an optical

Since the optical

In the
As shown in FIG. 1, in addition to the
When the optical
First, on condition that the
Next, after confirming that the polishing procedure is mode 1 and normal polishing (step S2), one of the
The
When the polishing time timer counts up (step S9), the
The operation of only the second rotation mechanism 18 (mode 2) is the same as the operation of the
When the
Although the above describes the case of automatic operation, it is naturally possible to manually operate the main motor, the small motor, and the small reduction motor individually under certain conditions, and it is also possible to provide these operation switches. It is.
Also, the difference in operation between “Deep Sharpening” and “Normal Polishing” selected by the deep grinding / normal polishing changeover switch is the difference in the force with which the abrasive presses the optical disk and the polishing time of the abrasive, It is selectable.
Although the case where there are two abrasives has been described in the above embodiment, the present invention is naturally applied to a case where there are three or more abrasives. Furthermore, as the number of abrasives increases, they cannot be arranged at the same time, so that the abrasives can be moved horizontally as described in Patent Document 1.
