Description

The present invention relates to an artificial turf structure in which a filler such as sand is filled between piles. More specifically, the present invention relates to an artificial turf structure preferably employed in a kindergarten or nursery school garden.

A long pile artificial turf having a pile length of about 50 to 60 mm, which is longer than a normal pile, is used as a substitute for natural turf such as soccer and rugby fields because its elasticity is close to that of natural turf.

For example, as shown in Patent Document 1, according to the long pile artificial turf, by filling the piles with a filler made of sand or rubber chips with a thickness of 30 to 40 mm, and projecting the tip of the pile by 10 to 30 mm, It is possible to obtain a stepping feeling close to natural turf and good ball rolling characteristics.

Recently, long pile artificial turf is sometimes laid as a kindergarten or other kindergarten and used for the purpose of preventing children from being injured by falling. However, when long pile artificial turf is applied as a garden, there are the following problems.

That is, the conventional long pile artificial turf uses rubber chips as part of the filler in order to obtain elasticity, but when laid on a small scale such as a garden, there is a risk that the rubber chips will be scattered and the surroundings will be stained. there were. There was also a risk of accidental entry into the mouth of an infant or the like when falling.

Therefore, the following problem arises when only sand is filled without using a rubber chip as a filler. That is, since the first problem does not include a rubber chip, the elasticity of the artificial turf is significantly reduced. The second problem is that the piles are usually constructed so that they do not sink into the filler. However, when only hard particles (sand, etc.) are filled, the specific gravity of the sand is heavy, so an attempt is made to fill a large amount at once. Then, the pile is likely to sink into the filler. As a result, the finish is poor.

The third problem is that the pile deteriorates due to wear with the filler as it is used over time. However, when only the hard granular material (sand, etc.) is filled, the filler is hard and the pile wear progresses. Proceeds much faster than usual.

Therefore, in order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides an artificial turf structure of a long pile artificial turf suitable for small-scale laying such as a garden having moderate elasticity and good workability and wear resistance. There is.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention has several features described below. The invention according to claim 1 includes an artificial turf structure including an artificial turf laid on a base via an elastic layer, and filled with granular materials mainly composed of sand between piles of the artificial turf. Each of the piles is made of polyethylene and has a cross-sectional area of 0.15 to 0.30 mm 2 at the tip.

A second aspect of the present invention is characterized in that in the first aspect, an elastic mat having water permeability is used in which the foam crushed in the elastic layer is bonded with a binder.

The invention described in claim 3 is characterized in that, in the above-mentioned claim 2, a recycled product of waste material is used as the foam.

According to the invention described in claim 1, by the cross-sectional area of the distal end portion of the pile within the ranges 0.15~0.30Mm 2, since good autonomy pile, pile into the filler Difficult to sink and workability is good.

That is, when the cross-sectional area is less than 0.15 mm 2 , the pile is not self-supporting and tends to cause poor appearance. On the other hand, if the cross-sectional area is larger than 0.30 mm 2 , the self-supporting property is improved, but the texture of the pile is felt hard, and there is a possibility that an abrasion or the like is likely to occur when the user falls.

According to the inventions of claims 2 and 3, by using an elastic mat having water permeability in which a foam pulverized in an elastic layer is bonded with a binder, sufficient elasticity can be obtained even if the filler is only a hard granular material. You can gain power. In addition, production costs can be further reduced by using recycled waste materials.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a main part of an artificial turf structure according to an embodiment of the present invention. The artificial turf structure 1 has an artificial turf 4 laid on an elastic layer 3 formed on a base 2, and a filler 6 is filled between piles 5 of the artificial turf 4.

As the base 2, a simple pavement surface obtained by leveling the ground is used, but other than this, gravel or the like may be spread, or an existing pavement surface paved with asphalt or the like may be used. In this invention, the structure of the base | substrate 2 can be changed according to a specification, and is an arbitrary matter.

The elastic layer 3 is formed by laying on a base plate 2 a plate body in which elastic granular materials made of a synthetic resin foam having a low water absorption, such as styrene, polyethylene, and EVA, are integrally formed by adhesive or heat fusion. Consists of.

The elastic granular material is preferably a recycled product obtained by crushing foam waste. Moreover, it is preferable that the particle size is 10-30 mm. That is, when the particle size is less than 10 mm, the elastic granular material is too densely packed, so that the porosity is lowered and water permeability may be lowered. On the contrary, if it is larger than 30 mm, the clogging becomes too rough, and there is a possibility that irregularities are formed on the surface of the artificial turf.

The porosity of the elastic layer 3 is preferably 15 to 30%. That is, when the porosity is less than 15%, sufficient water permeability cannot be obtained, so that a puddle is easily formed. On the other hand, when the porosity exceeds 30%, the strength of the elastic layer constituting material is lowered, and when a large load is applied during transportation or after laying, the elastic layer may be destroyed, and a dent or the like may be generated.

As an example, the elastic layer 3 preferably has a layer thickness T of 20 to 80 mm. That is, when the thickness T is less than 20 mm, the thickness is insufficient, so that the elasticity may be poor. On the other hand, when the thickness T exceeds 80 mm, the feeling of stability after installation is poor, and it becomes unstable during walking.

In this example, the elastic layer 3 is formed by laying a mat 2 of a predetermined size on a base 2 in advance in a factory or the like so that it can be easily carried. It may be formed by so-called on-site construction that is mixed in, laid and solidified.

Further, in this example, the elastic layer 3 has a water permeability by ensuring that a predetermined porosity is obtained by bonding an elastic granular material to an adhesive or heat. The drain holes may be formed at predetermined intervals.

In the artificial turf 4, piles 5 are planted on a base cloth 41 at predetermined intervals. For the base fabric 41, for example, a plain woven fabric made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, polyethylene, or nylon is used, and a cotton-like material made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate may be attached by punching.

Further, a backing material 42 such as SBR latex rubber or urethane is uniformly applied to the back surface of the base fabric 41 in order to prevent the tufted pile 5 from falling off. The presence or absence of the backing material 42 is an optional matter in the present invention, and can be changed according to the specifications.

The pile 5 is a long pile whose pile length H from the surface of the base fabric 41 to the tip is 50 to 60 mm. The pile 5 is suitably selected from synthetic resins such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and nylon. However, when the filler is made of only a hard filler as in the present invention, polyethylene having good wear resistance, more preferably linear is used. Low density polyethylene is preferred.

As shown in FIG. 2, the pile 5 is a bundle of a plurality of monotape yarns or monofilament yarns, or a strip-like split yarn. When the pile 5 is formed of a split yarn, it is preferable that the split yarn is provided with opening slits for forming the pile yarn 51 in a lattice arrangement.

Here, the monotape yarn refers to a product obtained by extruding a melted resin into a film shape and cutting it into a narrow strip with a width of about 1 to 2 mm. Used. The monofilament yarn refers to a melted resin formed into a thread from a thin die, and is used by bundling 8 to 20 bundles in the same manner as the monotape yarn.

A split yarn is a thin cut (slit) with a length of 10 to 20 mm on a tape that is cut into a relatively wide strip with a width of about 8 to 15 mm after extrusion of the melted resin into a film. This is the pile you put in. One split yarn is planted on the base fabric, and when the artificial turf is processed, the tip of the pile is opened to divide the tip into a plurality of pieces.

There are two types of slits: lattice slits that are formed by arranging equal-length slits parallel to the top, bottom, left, and right in a lattice at equal intervals and staggered slits that are arranged in a staggered manner at equal intervals and at equal intervals in an oblique direction.

As shown in FIG. 2, the pile 5 is a bundle of a plurality of pile yarns 51 made of monotape yarn or monofilament yarn (8 to 20 in this example), or a split yarn (lattice slit) is an open end. What has the uniform width | variety of the fine part 51 is used. It should be noted that even split yarns in which the opening slits are arranged in a staggered manner are not suitable for the present invention because the width of the pile yarn 51 after opening becomes uneven.

The pile 5 preferably has a thickness of 10,000 to 18000 dtex. In the case of monotape yarn or monofilament yarn, the thickness referred to here is the thickness in a bundled state, and in the case of split yarn, it means the thickness of one yarn before opening.

In this embodiment, the pile 51 is made of a bundle of a plurality of pile yarns 51 made of monofilament yarns, and the pile yarns 51 are branched from the root side (base fabric 41 side) toward the tip side. .

Each pile yarn 51 preferably has a cross-sectional area at the tip of each pile yarn 51 of 0.15 to 0.30 mm 2 . That is, when the cross-sectional area on the tip end side of the pile yarn 51 is less than 0.15 mm 2 , the pile is not self-supporting and tends to cause poor appearance. On the other hand, if the cross-sectional area is larger than 0.30 mm 2 , the self-supporting property is improved, but the texture of the pile is felt hard, and there is a possibility that an abrasion or the like is likely to occur when the user falls.

The filler 6 consists of hard granular materials, such as quartz sand, and the particle size has preferable 0.2-1.2 mm. That is, when a large amount of fine particles having a particle size of less than 0.2 mm is contained, there is a risk of scattering by the wind or flowing out due to rain. On the other hand, when a large amount of coarse particles having a particle size exceeding 1.2 mm is contained, the fit between the piles is poor, and there is a possibility that scratches and the like are likely to occur when the rolls.

The layer thickness of the filler 6 is arbitrarily selected according to the thickness and elasticity of the elastic layer 3, but in order to prevent the filler 6 from flowing out and scattering, the pile protrusion height h1 (filler layer) The length from the surface of the pile to the tip of the pile) is preferably 10 to 30 mm (in this embodiment, the layer thickness h2 is 30 to 40 mm).

Next, specific examples 1 and 2 of the present invention and comparative examples thereof will be described. First, an elastic mat (elastic layer) and a long pile artificial turf were prepared by the following method.
[Production of elastic mat]
An elastic granular material obtained by crushing a polyethylene 20-fold foam so as to have a particle size of 10 to 30 mm is formed into a mat having a size of 1 m in length and 1 m in width (1 m 2 ) having a thickness of 35 mm. After that, this elastic mat was brought to the construction site and laid on the base. The porosity of this elastic mat is 25%.
[Production of artificial grass]
A polyethylene yarn was planted on a base fabric made of a plain woven fabric made of polypropylene with a pile length of 60 mm and a pile interval (gauge) of 15 mm. 1 m × 1 m (1 m 2 )) was produced.
[Filling material]
Each artificial grass was laid on an elastic mat (elastic layer), and then a filler was filled between the piles. The filler used is silica sand (hard granular material) with a true specific gravity of 2.6 and a particle size of 0.2-1.2 mm occupying 90% or more. After filling and filling until the final layer thickness was 30 mm, brushing was performed for 30 minutes so that the tip of the pile occurred with a deck brush. Thereafter, the artificial turf prepared by the above method was evaluated by the following method.

[Finish confirmation]
After laying the artificial turf of Examples 1 and 2 and the comparative example, the overall finish was visually confirmed. Further, three pile yarns protruding at the surface of the artificial turf were selected at random, the width of the tip of each pile yarn was measured 10 times, and the average width and average cross-sectional area of the pile were measured.
[Wear condition check]
The artificial turf laid was left for one year and then walked on it to observe the state of wear of the artificial turf.
