Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle body failure diagnosis apparatus that detects a failure mainly due to peeling of an adhesive to a vehicle body using a weld bond method using spot welding and an adhesive in combination for sheet metal bonding.
On the other hand, the adhesive is more likely to be peeled off due to aging than welding. Therefore, in particular, it is desirable to monitor the peeling of the adhesive in the case of a vehicle body in which parts where loads and strains are concentrated using the weld bond method. However, at present, a technique for accurately detecting such peeling of the adhesive has not been sufficiently established.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle body failure diagnosis apparatus that can accurately detect a failure caused by peeling of an adhesive.
The present invention relates to a vehicle body failure diagnosis apparatus using a weld bond method in which spot welding and an adhesive are used in combination for sheet metal bonding, and an acceleration detection means for detecting an acceleration acting on a detection portion set on the vehicle body Acceleration for a force input to the vehicle body based on the force detection means for detecting the force input to the vehicle body from the road surface through the wheels, the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection device and the force detected by the force detection device A transfer function calculating means for calculating a frequency transfer function of the response, an acceleration applied to the detection portion on the vehicle body when the adhesive is not peeled off, and a force input to the vehicle body based on the force calculated in advance. Reference value storage means for storing the frequency transfer function of the acceleration response to the input as a reference frequency transfer function, the frequency transfer function calculated by the transfer function calculation means, and the reference value storage means Comparing the stored reference frequency transfer function, characterized by comprising a release detector for detecting the release of the vehicle body on the adhesive if a particular frequency range different.
According to the vehicle body failure diagnosis apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to accurately detect a failure caused by peeling of an adhesive.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a vehicle body failure diagnosis apparatus. This failure diagnosis apparatus 1 is mounted on a vehicle that employs a weld bond method in which spot welding and an adhesive are used in combination at each of the joint portions of the sheet metal constituting the vehicle body 10 (see FIG. 3). Detects a vehicle body failure caused by peeling.
Here, in order to efficiently improve the vehicle body rigidity, in the
More specifically, in the present embodiment, for example, at the time of designing the
The failure diagnosis apparatus 1 is configured, for example, with a
The FFT analyzer 6 digitally samples the input signal waveform to store the input signal as data, and obtains a Fourier coefficient from this data in a short time using fast Fourier transform (FFT). That is, the FFT analyzer 6 decomposes the input signal into simple frequencies and generates a spectral distribution of each frequency component.
The FFT analyzer 6 includes, for example, eight
Further, a
Then, the FFT analyzer 6 normalizes each acceleration data detected at each detection portion by using each
The
Specifically, it is calculated in advance in the ROM of the
The ROM of the
Then, the
Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the
Further, a
Next, failure diagnosis of the
This routine is repeatedly executed every set time. When the routine starts, the
On the other hand, when determining that the
Then, when the process proceeds from step S103 to step S104, the
When the process proceeds from step S104 to step S105, the
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S106 that the specific frequency component has a difference greater than or equal to the setting (that is, when peeling of the adhesive is detected on the vehicle body 10), the
Further, when the process proceeds from step S104 to step S109, the
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S109 that peeling of the adhesive has been detected, the
According to such embodiment, while detecting the acceleration which acts on the detection part on the
Further, by setting the positions of the
In the above-described embodiment, frequency transfer functions are obtained for all combinations of the forces in the respective axial directions detected by the
