Description
The present invention relates to a power supply control device and a control method for the power supply device, and more particularly to a power supply control device mounted on an electric vehicle and a control method for the power supply device.
Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2001-268719 (Patent Document 1) discloses a battery charge control device for a hybrid vehicle. The battery charge control device includes a charge / discharge prediction unit that predicts a future charge / discharge state of an HV battery that charges electric power for driving a motor generator as a drive source, and an HV battery according to an ambient temperature of the vehicle. Target value changing means for changing the charging target value.

Bidirectional DC /
Auxiliary power storage device B2 is a chargeable / dischargeable DC power supply, for example, a lead battery. Auxiliary power storage device B2 is charged by receiving power from power supply line PL1 by bidirectional DC /
Further, when the ignition key is turned to the ON position,
FIG. 2 is a control flowchart of the
Referring to FIG. 2,
If it is determined in step S10 that the ignition key has been turned to the OFF position (YES in step S10),
If
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S20 that temperature T is lower than threshold temperature Tth1 (YES in step S20),
Specifically,
While the auxiliary power storage device B2 is being charged, the
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the relationship between the temperature T around the vehicle and the charging target voltage Vo (T) of the auxiliary power storage device B2. Referring to FIG. 3, charging target voltage Vo (T) is set higher when temperature T is lower than threshold temperature Tth1 than when temperature T is equal to or higher than threshold temperature Tth1. Further, the charging target voltage Vo (T) is set to increase as the temperature T decreases.
The reason why the charging target voltage Vo (T) is increased in accordance with the decrease in the temperature T around the vehicle is as follows. As shown in FIG. 1, the
Then, when the vehicle is started at a low temperature (when the ignition key is turned on), a large amount of electric power is taken out from auxiliary power storage device B2, and the voltage of auxiliary power storage device B2 decreases. When the voltage of the auxiliary power storage device B2 greatly decreases, the
Referring to FIG. 2 again, when it is determined in step S50 that voltage VB is equal to or lower than charging target voltage Vo (T) (NO in step S50),
If it is determined in step S50 that voltage VB has become higher than charging target voltage Vo (T) (YES in step S50),

Referring to FIG. 4,
If it is determined in step S110 that the ignition key has been turned to the ON position (YES in step S110),
When system
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S140 that start of
When cranking of
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S160 that temperature T is lower than threshold temperature Tth2 (YES in step S160), the performance of
Then, when
As described above, in this embodiment, when the vehicle system is stopped, if the temperature T around the vehicle is lower than the threshold temperature Tth1, the charging target voltage Vo (T) is increased. The voltage of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is set in preparation for starting the system at a low temperature where the
In addition, the voltage of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is increased only when the system is started at a low temperature where the amount of power supplied from the auxiliary power storage device B2 to the power supply line PL1 is expected to increase. The voltage of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is not increased unnecessarily, and as a result, unnecessary fuel consumption is not reduced.
Further, when a lead battery is used for the auxiliary power storage device B2, the performance of the lead battery is maintained even at low temperatures. Therefore, if a low temperature is expected at system startup, the charge state of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is increased. It is possible to start the vehicle system reliably.
Furthermore, since the target charging voltage Vo (T) is increased in accordance with the decrease in the temperature T around the vehicle, the vehicle system cannot be started even when the vehicle is started at an extremely low temperature, and the situation is reliably avoided. can do. In other words, since the voltage of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is not increased unnecessarily, unnecessary fuel consumption is not reduced.
Further, in this embodiment, since the capacitor C1 is precharged from the auxiliary power storage device B2 by the bidirectional DC /
In the above description, when the ignition key is turned off at a low temperature, the charging target voltage Vo (T) of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is increased. However, the SOC target value of the auxiliary power storage device B2 is May be raised.

Referring to FIG. 5, this flowchart includes step S55 instead of step S50 in the flowchart shown in FIG. That is, when electric power is generated by
FIG. 6 is a diagram showing the relationship between the temperature T around the vehicle and the target charging amount So (T) of the auxiliary power storage device B2. Referring to FIG. 6, charge target amount So (T) of auxiliary power storage device B2 is set higher when temperature T is lower than threshold temperature Tth1 and higher than when temperature T is equal to or higher than threshold temperature Tth1. The Further, the target charging amount So (T) is set to increase as the temperature T decreases.
The reason why the target charging amount So (T) is increased in accordance with the decrease in the temperature T around the vehicle is the same as that when the target charging voltage Vo (T) is increased.
Referring to FIG. 5 again, when it is determined in step S55 that state quantity SOC2 is equal to or smaller than charging target quantity So (T) (NO in step S55),
