Abstract
【解決手段】発電セル12は、電解質膜・電極構造体22と、前記電解質膜・電極構造体22を挟持する第1及び第2セパレータ24、26とを備える。第1セパレータ24は、酸化剤ガス流路42を有し、前記酸化剤ガス流路42と酸化剤ガス供給連通孔28a及び酸化剤ガス排出連通孔28bとの間には、入口側バッファ領域44aと出口側バッファ領域44bとが設けられる。入口側バッファ領域44aと出口側バッファ領域44bには、複数の円柱状抵抗部材46a、46bが形成される一方、電解質膜・電極構造体22には、第1及び第2加湿部40a、40bが設けられる。

Claims (2)
- 電解質膜の両側に一対の電極が配設される電解質膜・電極構造体と、セパレータとが積層されるとともに、積層方向に貫通して反応ガスを流す反応ガス連通孔が形成される燃料電池であって、
前記セパレータは、前記電極の発電領域に対応して前記反応ガスを供給する反応ガス流路と、
前記反応ガス流路と前記反応ガス連通孔との間に設けられ、前記反応ガスの撹拌を行うバッファ領域と、
を備え、
前記電解質膜・電極構造体には、前記バッファ領域に対向し且つ前記バッファ領域から水分を透過するための加湿部が設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記バッファ領域には、前記反応ガスの流れに抵抗となる抵抗部材が設けられるとともに、
前記抵抗部材には、前記反応ガスを前記電解質膜・電極接合体に案内する傾斜ガイド部が形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
