Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power output apparatus, a vehicle on which the power output apparatus is mounted, and a method for controlling the power output apparatus.
By the way, in general, the higher the motor rotation speed, the more signals for driving the motor need to be output per unit time. Therefore, the control device (such as an electronic control unit) that controls the motor also operates at a high frequency. It is required to do. In the power output apparatus described in

In this power output device, when the rotational speed of the rotating shaft of the electric motor is within a predetermined range, a driving force based on the required driving force set based on the operation of the operator is output from the power source and the electric motor to the driving shaft. The target drive state of the power source and the electric motor is set, and the target drive state of the power source is set so that the drive force based on the requested drive force is output from the power source to the drive shaft when the rotational shaft rotational speed exceeds the predetermined range. While setting, the target drive state which does not supply electric power to an electric motor is set, and a power source and an electric motor are controlled based on the set target drive state. Generally, when the rotational speed of the electric motor increases beyond a predetermined range, electric motor control means that operates at a high frequency is required. Here, power supply to the motor is not performed when the rotation speed of the motor exceeds a predetermined range. Therefore, the operating frequency of the motor control means for controlling the motor can be kept low, and the selection range of the motor control means can be expanded.
In the power output apparatus of the present invention, the target drive state setting means is a means for setting the target drive state using a range having an upper limit of a rotational speed smaller than the maximum allowable rotational speed of the electric motor as the predetermined range. It may be a thing.
The power output apparatus of the present invention includes a drive circuit that drives the electric motor by switching of a switching element, and the electric motor control unit is configured to perform the driving circuit when a target drive state in which no electric power is supplied to the electric motor is set. It is good also as a means to interrupt | block this switching element. By doing so, it is possible to prevent the electric power from being supplied to the electric motor relatively easily by utilizing the switching of the switching element.
In the power output apparatus of the present invention, the electric motor may be a non-permanent magnet electric motor that can output power to the drive shaft without providing a permanent magnet. In this way, even when the rotation shaft is rotated and the rotation shaft rotational speed exceeds a predetermined range, the power generation to the motor can be prevented even if the power is not supplied to the motor.
In the power output apparatus of the present invention, the power source may include an internal combustion engine and output power from the internal combustion engine to the drive shaft. At this time, the power source is connected to the output shaft of the internal combustion engine and the drive shaft, and can output at least part of the power from the internal combustion engine to the drive shaft with input and output of electric power and power. Electric power drive input / output means and a second electric motor capable of inputting / outputting power to / from the drive shaft may be provided.
A vehicle according to the present invention includes any one of the power output devices described above, and an axle is connected to the drive shaft. Since this power output device can expand the range of selection of the motor control means by keeping the operating frequency of the motor control means for controlling the motor low as described above, the vehicle equipped with the same is also the same. An effect is obtained.
In the vehicle of the present invention, the electric motor may be configured such that the rotating shaft is connected to the axle different from the axle to which the output shaft of the power source is connected via the drive shaft. In this way, a plurality of axles can be driven when the rotational speed of the rotary shaft is within a predetermined range, so that stable running can be performed.

In this power output device control method, when the rotational speed of the rotating shaft of the motor is within a predetermined range, a driving force based on the required driving force set based on the operation of the operator is output from the power source and the motor. A control command for the power source and the motor is set, and when the rotational speed of the rotating shaft exceeds a predetermined range, a control command for the power source is set so that a driving force based on the required driving force is output from the power source. A control command not to supply power is set in the power source, and the power source and the electric motor are controlled based on the set control command. In this method for controlling the power output apparatus, various aspects of the power output apparatus described above may be adopted, and steps for realizing each function of the power output apparatus described above may be added. .

Each of the motors MG1, MG2, and MG3 is configured as a known synchronous generator motor that can be driven as a generator and can be driven as a motor. Here, the motors MG1 and MG2 are configured as so-called PM motors in which permanent magnets are embedded in the rotor, and the motor MG3 is not provided with permanent magnets, and is generated by a coil provided on the stator with a convex pole provided on the rotor. It is configured as a synchronous reluctance motor that is driven to rotate by the force of a magnetic field. These motors MG1, MG2, and MG3 exchange power with the

When the data is thus input, the required torque T * and required power P * required for the vehicle are set based on the input accelerator opening Acc and the vehicle speed V (step S110). Here, in the embodiment, the required torque T * is obtained in advance by storing the relationship between the accelerator opening Acc, the vehicle speed V, and the required torque T * in the
Subsequently, it is determined whether or not the rotation speed Nm3 of the motor MG3 is equal to or less than a threshold value Nm3ref (step S120). The threshold value Nm3ref is set to a value smaller than a preset maximum rotational speed Nm3max of the motor MG3, for example, a rotational speed such as 50%, 60%, or 70% of the maximum rotational speed Nm3max. When the rotation speed Nm3 is equal to or less than the threshold value Nm3ref, it is assumed that the motor MG3 can be driven, and the following processing is executed. Specifically, first, a distribution ratio D for distributing the required torque T * to the

When the torque command Tm3 * is transmitted, the target rotational speed Ne * and the target torque Te * of the

When the torque command Tm1 * of the motor MG1 is set, as shown in the following equation (4), the torque directly transmitted from the

Thus, when the target engine speed Ne *, the target torque Te *, and the torque commands Tm1 *, Tm2 * of the motors MG1, MG2 are set, the target engine speed Ne * and the target torque Te * of the
On the other hand, when it is determined in step S120 that the rotation speed Nm3 of the motor MG3 exceeds the threshold value Nm3ref, it is considered that the motor MG3 has exceeded the range where the motor MG3 can be driven, and the required torque T * is determined as the
Then, similarly to the above, the processes of steps S160 to S190 are executed, and the drive control routine is terminated. The
Here, the correspondence between the components of the present embodiment and the components of the present invention will be clarified. The
According to the
Further, the
In addition, this invention is not limited to the Example mentioned above at all, and as long as it belongs to the technical scope of this invention, it cannot be overemphasized that it can implement with a various aspect.
