Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an artificial satellite that performs three-axis stability control and a method for canceling a disturbance generated in the artificial satellite.
It is affected by disturbance angular momentum due to solar radiation pressure, earth's gravitational tilt, geomagnetism, high-rise air, etc. in space. In general, artificial satellites perform communication missions and observation missions, so it is necessary to stabilize their attitudes. For artificial satellites that perform three-axis stability control, disturbances generated in the artificial satellites due to internal devices such as reaction wheels. Control is performed by generating angular momentum so as to cancel out the angular momentum (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1). As a result, the angular momentum is accumulated in an internal device such as a reaction wheel.
In control using an internal device such as a reaction wheel, there is a limit to the amount of angular momentum that can be generated in the internal device. If a certain threshold value is exceeded, an angular momentum that is opposite to the accumulation direction is generated by a thruster or the like to cancel out. A so-called unloading operation is performed. However, this operation may cause posture disturbance in the short term and may force the mission to be interrupted. In addition, in the case of unloading using a thruster that is generally used at present, the lifetime of the satellite is affected because the propellant is consumed.
As another approach to counter disturbance, a wind mill method is also well known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). This is an artificial satellite operated in geostationary or quasi-zenith orbit where the disturbance momentum due to solar radiation pressure is dominant among various disturbances. By changing the area, the disturbance momentum received by the satellite is adjusted. Examples of movable objects include solar cell paddles and trim tabs. Applying this method has the advantage that the frequency of unloading decreases and the number of mission interruptions can be reduced. In addition, since it is a method that does not consume propellant, it is a highly effective method such as contributing to the reduction of the mass of the satellite.
In the wind mill method, measurement, prediction, and control are performed according to the following procedure. (1) First, the angular momentum currently accumulated in the satellite is measured. (2) Next, the amount of solar radiation disturbance acting on a movable object such as a paddle used for windmill control and the amount of solar radiation disturbance acting on an artificial satellite structure other than the movable object are predicted. (3) A desired disturbance amount to be received by the movable object is determined from the accumulated angular momentum and a predicted value of the future angular momentum. (4) A desired angle profile of the movable object is determined and driven.
As a problem with respect to 2 of the above procedure, it is difficult to predict the amount of radiation disturbance. In recent satellites, equipment exposed on the outer surface of the satellite, such as a satellite mounted antenna, is becoming larger and more complicated in shape due to sophistication and complexity of mission requirements. In these artificial satellites, the surface characteristics such as multiple reflection, shadow, and sunlight transmission of sunlight on the artificial satellite surface have nonlinear characteristics with respect to the sun direction with respect to the coordinates fixed to the artificial satellite. It is difficult to predict on a satellite model basis. In addition, the reflectance and absorptance of satellite surface characteristics have changed over time, and modeling is a challenge.
Also, as an issue for
Artificial satellites that perform three-axis stable control such as geostationary orbit and quasi-zenith orbit receive disturbance torques such as solar radiation pressure and accumulate disturbance angular momentum. As a result, satellite performance and lifetime are affected, so the conventional windmill method is used to reduce the disturbance momentum. However, when applying this method to satellites with complex shapes such as a large number of antennas, or satellites that change their attitude in a complicated manner, the amount of disturbance and the driving angle of the movable object are as described above. The problem is that it is difficult to make a decision.
An artificial satellite according to the present invention includes an internal device that generates a disturbance angular momentum during a satellite service period, an angular momentum sensor unit that measures the disturbance angular momentum generated by the internal device, the attitude of the satellite, and the generated angular momentum. According to the present invention, the disturbance angular momentum of an artificial satellite can be released without using a wind mill technique.

In the present invention, the angular angular momentum is measured by measuring the angular momentum change of the
In FIG. 5, the sun direction 17 in the satellite coordinate system with respect to the sun 18 is defined by three parameters: satellite coordinate system sun azimuth angle α14, satellite coordinate system sun elevation angle β15, and paddle rotation angle γ16. In the present invention, a disturbance torque database is constructed on the
FIG. 6 schematically shows the angular momentum profile for each axis in the inertial coordinate system when the operation is performed according to the flow shown in FIG. The angular momentum of the
First, the flow of FIG. 1 will be described below.
As shown in FIG. 5, the attitude relationship between the sun 18 and the
For example, satellite attitude in inertial coordinate system is Euler angle 3-2-1 system (method to define satellite attitude by rotating satellite coordinate system in order of inertial coordinate system Z-axis rotation-Y-axis rotation-X-axis rotation) In this case, a constraint condition such as zero Z-axis rotation is given.
Next, the satellite attitude set by the constraint conditions and the three parameters (α, β, γ) is controlled, and the attitude is held for Time_smp [s]. During this time, the
The measured disturbance angular momentum △ Msc_smp [Nms] includes angular momentum due to the Earth's gravitational gradient torque, geomagnetic torque, etc. in addition to the angular momentum due to solar radiation pressure, which is the dominant disturbance factor. Here, we deal with them together. From the Time_smp [s] and the disturbance angular momentum ΔMsc_smp [Nms], the disturbance torque T_dis1 [Nm] is calculated by the disturbance torque calculation unit 8 according to the equation (1).
A plurality of cases are set and the same measurement and calculation are performed. For example, if the parameters α, β, and γ are displaced every 30 °, data is measured and calculated for 1728 postures. In setting the case, the power / thermal constraint of the
The posture constraint condition at the time of measurement of the disturbance angular momentum and the disturbance torque T_dis1 [Nm] with respect to the three parameters (α, β, γ) are stored as one set in the
Up to this point, a database related to disturbance torque is constructed before satellite operation.
Hereinafter, a description will be given after the service starts. Step 2 measures the accumulated disturbance angular momentum accumulated in the
In the
Since the non-service section 122 can take any posture regardless of the service, the non-service section 122 is subjected to a disturbance that can cancel the disturbance angular momentum accumulated in the
First, the desired torque T_cmp1 [Nm] in the non-service section 122 is calculated using Equation (2). That is, the desired torque T_cmp1 [Nm] is calculated by dividing the disturbance angular momentum at the end of the
Next, three attitude parameters (αcmp1, βcmp1, γcmp1) for obtaining the desired torque T_cmp1 [Nm] are determined from the disturbance torque database on the
When there are a plurality of sets of (αcmp1, βcmp1, γcmp1), they may be determined according to some condition. For example, conditions such as an attitude in which the attitude change time from the attitude at the end of the
In Step 3, the disturbance torque database is updated from the disturbance angular momentum at the end of the non-service section. Assuming that the desired posture determined in Step 2 is sufficiently maintained during the non-service section 122, the angular momentum accumulated in the
However, if there is a difference between the disturbance torque in the actual (αcmp1, βcmp1, γcmp1) posture and the torque on the disturbance torque database, the angular momentum cannot be offset. Therefore, the disturbance torque calculation unit 8 calculates the disturbance torque in the setting case in step 2, and updates the disturbance torque database using this.
At the end of the non-service section 122, the angular
The database update is based on the measured non-service section data {(αcmp1, βcmp1, γcmp1) T_dism} against the disturbance torque database {(α, β, γ)} In addition, the calculation is performed by the least square method. The updated database is held in the
Note that the residual angular momentum that cannot be canceled out by the disturbance control of the corresponding lap is canceled together with the disturbance angular momentum accumulated in the
Here, the operation of the satellite controller of FIG. 3 is divided into disturbance torque calculation operation and control operation. First, the disturbance torque calculation operation will be described. In order to compensate the angular momentum generated by disturbances such as solar radiation pressure received by the
This offset angular momentum is measured as ΔMsc_smp [Nms] by the angular
Next, the disturbance control operation will be described. The accumulated disturbance angular momentum ΔMsc_st [Nms] of the
In other words, it is as follows. The
The disturbance torque calculation unit 8 extracts a posture for canceling the disturbance angular momentum from the
In the above description, the disturbance torque database is constructed and the desired torque is calculated on the
Moreover, although the solar cell paddles 2a and 2b are illustrated as movable objects in FIG. 1, it goes without saying that other mechanisms such as a trim tab may be used. At this time, the number of posture parameters in
According to the present embodiment, there is an effect that the angular momentum accumulated in the

FIG. 7 shows a flowchart in the second embodiment. Characteristically, the disturbance torque caused by the solar radiation pressure among the disturbance torque applied to the
Disturbance angular momentum ΔMsc_smp [Nms] includes disturbance angular momentum due to the earth's gravitational gradient torque, geomagnetic torque, and the like in addition to the disturbance torque due to solar radiation pressure, which is the dominant disturbance factor. Disturbance torque due to solar radiation pressure is calculated from the disturbance angular momentum Mg_smp [Nms] derived from the gravitational gradient of the same period calculated using the satellite mathematical model from the measured disturbance angular momentum △ Msc_smp [Nms] and the geomagnetic disturbance angle. It is obtained by performing an operation of subtracting the momentum Mm_smp [Nms] and performing an operation of equation (4) in which this is divided by the measurement period Time_smp [s].

Therefore, disturbance control is not performed in the
In the first embodiment, the disturbance torque including the disturbance torque due to the earth's gravitational inclination and the disturbance torque due to the geomagnetism is defined in addition to the disturbance torque due to the solar radiation pressure, and used for measurement and control. Only disturbances due to radiation pressure are separated into a database and controlled.
Under this policy, first, the desired torque in the non-service section 122, that is, the desired torque due to the solar radiation pressure to be received is calculated using the equation (5). To the angular momentum ΔMsc_st [Nm] accumulated in the
Next, three parameters (αcmp2, βcmp2, γcmp2) for obtaining the desired torque T_cmp2 [Nm] are determined from the disturbance torque database on the
When there are a plurality of sets of (αcmp2, βcmp2, γcmp2), they may be determined according to some condition. For example, conditions such as an attitude in which the attitude change time from the attitude at the end of the
The disturbance torque database is updated from the disturbance measurement data at the end of the non-service section. This step has the same contents as in the first embodiment. In addition to the advantages of the first embodiment, the present embodiment has the following effects.
