Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a position adjusting device for adjusting the position of an optical element while evaluating the imaging performance.
Therefore, conventionally, there is known an apparatus that adjusts the position of an optical element by detecting the amount of axial coma from the focused point image. As an example, there is a lens system optical axis adjusting device disclosed in the following Patent Document 1.
FIG. 13 shows the lens system optical axis adjusting device of Patent Document 1. In FIG. In this apparatus, the
An apparatus that detects the amount of axial coma aberration and adjusts the position of the optical element, such as the lens system optical axis adjustment apparatus described in Patent Document 1, only has an imaging performance of an axial light beam incident on the optical system. The position of the optical element is adjusted.
However, depending on the optical system, aberrations caused by the decentering of the optical element (hereinafter referred to as decentering aberration) may occur more in the off-axis light beam than in the on-axis light beam. In such a case, it is difficult to adjust the optical system so as to satisfy the desired imaging performance by the evaluation / adjustment method using the conventional adjustment device.
That is, among optical systems, there is an optical system that generates a small amount of decentration aberration with an on-axis light beam and more with an off-axis light beam. For such an optical system, it is assumed that the position of the optical element is adjusted based only on the amount of aberration in the axial light beam of the optical system. In this case, because the adjustment is based only on the axial light beam with a small amount of aberration, even if the optical element is adjusted so that the amount of aberration is minimized, the entire optical system is not necessarily adjusted to the best state. I can't say that.
As a result, such an optical system may be an optical system that has good imaging performance in terms of on-axis imaging performance, but it does not necessarily have good imaging performance for off-axis imaging performance. I cannot say that. For example, in such an optical system, the focal position of each off-axis light beam is different, and there is a possibility that the optical system has a so-called blur. As described above, in the conventional adjustment method, it becomes easy to determine an off-axis imaging performance defective optical system as a non-defective product. Therefore, there is a possibility that the yield of the camera lens, the imaging unit, etc. will be significantly deteriorated.
In particular, with the recent miniaturization of the optical system, higher accuracy is required for the position adjustment of the optical element. For this reason, in the adjustment of the position of the optical element, it is difficult to satisfy the required accuracy regarding the position adjustment by the adjustment based only on the on-axis imaging performance.
Also, efforts are being made to improve processing accuracy for optical elements, lens frames, and the like. However, it has become difficult to obtain an optical system that satisfies the desired imaging performance only by improving the processing accuracy. For this reason, the necessity of detecting and evaluating the decentration aberrations such as the above-mentioned blurring and performing optical adjustment based on the detection is rapidly increasing.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and provides a position adjusting device capable of adjusting the position of an optical element based on the imaging performance of an off-axis light beam of an optical system with a simple configuration. It is aimed.
In order to achieve the above object, an optical element position adjusting device according to the present invention includes a light beam generation unit having a light source disposed so that an emission optical axis can be tilted with respect to an optical axis of the optical system, and passing through the optical system. An imaging device disposed at a position for receiving a light beam from the light beam generation unit, a rotatable holding member that holds the optical system disposed between the imaging device and the light source, and the imaging A position adjustment information calculation device for calculating information necessary for position adjustment of an optical element whose position is not fixed in the optical system based on output information output via the device, and the optical element Is provided in a predetermined direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the optical system.
In the optical element position adjusting apparatus of the present invention, the light flux generation unit includes the light source and a substrate, and the substrate is between the light source and the holding member or with the holding member. It is preferable that the angle between the light source and the emission optical axis with respect to the optical axis of the optical system is variable.
In the optical element position adjusting apparatus of the present invention, it is preferable that the holding member is arranged to be rotatable about the optical axis of the optical system as a rotation center and to be positioned at an arbitrary rotation angle. .
In the optical element position adjusting apparatus according to the present invention, the imaging device is arranged to be movable in an optical axis direction of the optical element and a predetermined direction perpendicular to the optical axis, and can be positioned at an arbitrary position. Preferably, it is configured.
In the optical element position adjusting apparatus of the present invention, the output information includes information on off-axis performance of the optical system, and the information on off-axis performance includes an illuminance distribution of a light beam that has passed through the substrate, and Preferably, the position adjustment information calculation device calculates information necessary for position adjustment of the optical element based on the off-axis performance information.
In the optical element position adjusting apparatus of the present invention, the light beam generation unit has a light source arranged so that the emission optical axis can be tilted with respect to the optical axis of the optical system, and the holding member that holds the optical system is rotatable did. Therefore, according to the present invention, the imaging performance (eccentric aberration) of the optical system with respect to the off-axis light beam can be evaluated with a simple configuration. Specifically, according to the present invention, it is possible to easily evaluate the blur caused by the off-axis light beam that has passed through the optical system.
As a result, even with a small optical system that has strict accuracy regarding the position adjustment of the optical element, it is possible to perform position adjustment that satisfies the required accuracy. In addition, since the inclination of the light beam incident on the optical system can be arbitrarily set, it is possible to easily evaluate the imaging performance related to the axial light beam as in the past. Therefore, it is possible to evaluate both the off-axis light beam imaging performance and the on-axis light beam imaging performance with a single adjusting device. Therefore, a general-purpose optical element that can be adjusted in position according to the tendency of occurrence of decentration aberrations in the optical system (whether the aberration occurs with the on-axis light beam or the aberration with the off-axis light beam). The position adjusting device can be realized.
Prior to the description of the embodiment, the operation of the present invention will be described in detail.
It is assumed that the mounting position of the optical element in the optical system is shifted from the original position. In this case, when the subject is photographed with the optical system, the photographed image is blurred. For this reason, when the image is divided into four quadrants by two orthogonal straight lines passing through the center of the image, the illuminance distributions in the symmetrical quadrants do not match.
By using this, in the optical element position adjusting apparatus of the present invention, first, the light source is set so that the emission optical axis is inclined with respect to the optical axis of the optical system with respect to the optical system held at a predetermined position. Arranged. Thereby, it is possible to irradiate the peripheral part of the optical system (optical element) with a light beam. And the holding member is made rotatable. In this way, the light beam is irradiated to different positions on the optical surface of the optical system (the optical surface of the optical element). The optical surface is divided into four quadrants, and the light flux that has passed through each quadrant is imaged by the image sensor. Information (for example, differences in contrast and illuminance distribution) obtained from the images in the target quadrants, that is, the first quadrant and the third quadrant, and the second quadrant and the fourth quadrant, are used as the evaluation values of the optical system. Based on this, the position of the optical element can be adjusted.
That is, in the position adjusting device of the present invention, the light beam is incident on the peripheral portion of the held optical system (optical element). Here, the position of at least one of the optical elements in the optical system is not fixed in the optical system. In such a state, the light beam transmitted through the optical system is imaged by an imaging device and subjected to image processing. In the image processing, the imaging performance of the off-axis light beam of the optical system is evaluated from the illuminance distribution of the light beam transmitted through the optical system. For example, when attention is paid to the illuminance distribution of the image, when there is a scatter, the illuminance distributions of the first quadrant and the third quadrant, and the second quadrant and the fourth quadrant do not match. On the other hand, when there is no blur, the illuminance distributions of the first quadrant and the third quadrant, and the second quadrant and the fourth quadrant coincide.
Therefore, the position adjustment information calculation device calculates the amount of movement necessary for the position adjustment of the optical element. Here, the movement amount is, for example, a movement amount in which the illuminance distributions substantially coincide in the first quadrant and the third quadrant, that is, a movement amount that is recognized as a state in which there is almost no blurring. Then, the unfixed optical element is moved through the moving device by the amount of movement. Similarly, in the second quadrant and the fourth quadrant, a movement amount in which the illuminance distributions substantially coincide, that is, a movement that is recognized as a state in which there is almost no blurring is calculated, and the optical element is moved by the movement amount. In this way, the position of the optical element is adjusted.

C(%)=100×(max−min)/(max+min)
FIG. 3 is a graph showing the illuminance distribution of an image taken by the imaging apparatus, that is, an image of the slits S1, S2, and S3.
The maximum luminance value max and the minimum luminance value min are obtained from the graph (data) of the illuminance distribution. Then, the contrast value C is calculated from the maximum luminance value max and the minimum luminance value min. The contrast value C can be obtained from the following calculation formula.
Contrast value C (%) = 100 × (max−min) / (max + min)

(Second Embodiment)
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 5 is a plan view showing the configuration of the
The position adjusting device of the present embodiment is different from the position adjusting device of the first embodiment in that the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
Next, position adjustment of the optical element using the position adjustment apparatus of the present embodiment configured as described above will be described.

At this time, the

ILx=P4−P2
ILy=P3−P1
When detecting the peak position P, the
Then, a position corresponding to the maximum luminance value is detected (obtained) from the obtained illuminance distribution. This position is the peak position P. There are the following four peak positions P. The position corresponding to the highest luminance value in the illuminance distribution IL2: P2, the position corresponding to the highest luminance value in the illuminance distribution IL4: P4, the position corresponding to the highest luminance value in the illuminance distribution IL1, and the highest luminance value in the illuminance distribution IL3. Corresponding position: P3. Here, the positions of the peak positions P1 to P4 are positions based on the origin O in the graph of FIG.
Note that also in the position adjustment apparatus of the present embodiment, the
here,
[X direction blur: ILx] can be calculated from the following equation using the peak positions P4 and P2.
ILx = P4-P2
[Y direction directional blur: ILy] can be calculated from the following equation using the peak positions P3 and P1.
ILy = P3-P1
In a state where the position of the
On the other hand, in a state where the position of the
Tx(X方向の狙い値)=(P4−P2)/2
Ty(Y方向の狙い値)=(P3−P1)/2
Therefore, the non-uniformity ILx (ILy) is set as close to 0 as possible. For this purpose, an adjustment target value T is obtained from the following calculation formula via the
Tx (target value in X direction) = (P4-P2) / 2
Ty (target value in Y direction) = (P3-P1) / 2
