Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof fire protecting and active drinking water tank for securing fire service water and drinking water for local residents without using motive power in natural disasters including earthquake.
SOLUTION: Normally, running water is fed through an emergency shut-off valve 3 between a water main pipe 1 and a water tank 5 to a water tank 5, and then it is returned to the emergency shut-off valve 3 and fed to the main pipe. When the main pipe 1 is broken in emergency and water pressure drops, the emergency shut-off valve 3 is operated to secure water in the water tank 5 while preventing its flow-out. When a water supply pipe 4 between the emergency shut-off valve 3 and the water tank 5 or a drain pipe 10 between the water tank 5 and the emergency shut-off valve 3 is broken, a siphon phenomenon preventing air hole 11 provided in the highest portion of a water feed pipe 6 in the water tank 5 or of a drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5 prevents the flow-out of the water. Branch pipes 8 are provided at any places for the water feed pipe 6 in the water tank 5 for spraying feed water into the water tank 5 at every corner to serve active driving water.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention contributes to the safety of local residents in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake, and ensures digestion water and active drinking water.
The tap water of the normal water main 1 is sent to the emergency shut-off valve 3 by the gate valve 2, passes through the water pipe 4, and is sent to the water pipe 6 inside the water tank 5. Water is stopped at the tip of the water supply pipe 6 by the Mekura cap 7. A small diameter branch pipe 8 is provided in the water supply pipe 6, and water is jetted from the branch pipe 8. The jetted water reaches every corner of the water tank 5 as live water. The water stored in the water tank 5 is discharged to the outside of the water tank 9 by the drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5 and sent to the main pipe 1 through the drain pipe 10. As shown in FIG. 5, when the main pipe 1 is damaged due to an earthquake, the water pressure is lowered, the emergency shut-off valve 3 is activated, and the water in the water tank 5 is secured. When the water supply pipe 4 and the drain pipe 10 between the emergency shut-off valve 3 and the water tank 5 are damaged, the water in the water tank 5 flows out, but the air hole is located at the highest position of the water supply pipe 6 and the drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5. 11 is provided. When water in the water tank 5 flows out, the air holes 11 act as siphon phenomenon preventing air holes. Since the gap between the opening of the air hole and the inner wall of the water tank 5 is very small, the water in the water tank 5 only flows out a little.

Utility Model Registration No. 3031701 This utility model has a water jet at the tip of the water supply pipe located at the inner lower part of the vertical water tank main body in a tangential direction along the inner side of the tank main body so that the vortex flows from the lower part of the tank to the upper part. Although it is generated, if the inner diameter of the tank is large and the length is long, the vortex flow hardly reaches the upper part, and there is a difficulty as active water.

Problems to be solved by the invention

In the present invention, the power in the water tank 5 is completely ensured as active water drinks as well as fire extinguishing water without using power. Further, in the event of a strong earthquake, when the pipes 1, 4 and 10 outside the water tank 5 are damaged, the water in the water tank 5 is prevented from flowing out.

Means to solve the problem

In order to achieve the above object, the water pipe 6 in the water tank 5 that has reached the present invention is provided with small-diameter branch pipes 8 at various places, and water is sprayed into the water tank 5. The injected water is stored as live water. In addition, when a strong earthquake occurs and the main pipe 1 is damaged, the emergency shut-off valve 3 is actuated due to a decrease in water pressure, and the outflow of water in the water storage tank 5 is prevented. When the pipes 4 and 10 are damaged, a siphon phenomenon preventing air hole 11 is provided at the highest part of the water supply pipe 6 and the drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5, and the water flowing out automatically stops when the water level falls below 11.
Thus, the water in the water tank 5 is provided with a two-stage outflow prevention measure that automatically prevents the outflow when the pipes 4 and 10 are damaged.

Claims (2)

This tank supplies fire water and active drinking water for local residents when a strong earthquake occurs. Normal tap water is introduced into the water tank 5 through the main pipe 1, through the emergency shut-off valve 3, through the water supply pipe 4, and into the water tank 5 through the drain pipes 9 and 10 by the gate valve 2.
When the water supply pipe 1 upstream of the emergency shut-off valve 3 is damaged, the emergency shut-off valve 3 is actuated by a drop in water pressure to prevent water from flowing out of the water tank 5.
In addition, when the water supply pipe | tube 4 and the drain pipe 10 between the emergency shutoff valve 3 and the water tank 5 are damaged, the outflow of the water in the water tank 5 is prevented to the minimum.
A siphon phenomenon preventing air hole 11 is provided at the highest part of the water supply pipe 6 and the drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5. When the water level in the water tank 5 falls below the air hole 11, further outflow of water is automatically prevented.
Since the gap between the opening of the siphon phenomenon preventing air hole 11 and the inner wall of the water tank 5 is very small, the outflow of water is insignificant.
In this way, when the main pipe 1 is damaged, the emergency shutoff valve 3 prevents water from flowing into the water tank 5, and the water supply pipe 4 and the drain pipe 10 between the emergency shutoff valve 3 and the water tank 5 are damaged. The air hole 11 provided in the highest part of the water pipe 6 and the drain pipe 9 in the water tank 5 acts as a siphon phenomenon prevention hole, and the outflow of water in the water tank 1 is prevented to the minimum.
Thus, it is a water tank characterized by providing a two-stage outflow prevention measure.
It must be live water to be supplied as drinking water. For this reason, a branch pipe 8 is provided in the water supply pipe 6 in the water tank 5, and all the water in the water tank 5 from which water supply is ejected so as to reach every corner of the water tank 5 is safely supplied as active drinking water.
