Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus, a control method, and a control program, and more particularly to a technique for reducing power consumption associated with driving of a camera shake correction mechanism in an imaging apparatus having a camera shake correction mechanism.
In such an imaging apparatus, in order to reduce power consumption for camera shake correction, it is detected that a part of a human body such as a fingertip touches a shutter switch or the like that functions as a contact detection device. A device in which the operation of the correction device is started is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, in practice, the time from when the touch detection device is touched to when the user actually takes a picture is not necessarily short because it includes the time until the composition is determined. There was a problem that it was not possible.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an imaging apparatus, a control method, and an imaging apparatus capable of starting the operation of the camera shake correction mechanism at a more suitable timing and further reducing power consumption in an imaging apparatus including the camera shake correction mechanism. It is to provide a control program.
In order to solve the above problems, an imaging apparatus includes a camera shake amount detection unit that detects the amount of camera shake, and a composition determination determination unit that determines whether or not the composition at the time of shooting is determined based on the degree of cross-correlation between a plurality of frames. And a camera shake correction unit that performs camera shake correction on an image captured based on the detected camera shake amount, and when it is determined that the camera shake amount is less than a predetermined reference camera shake amount and the composition has been determined. The camera shake correction unit includes a correction control unit that starts a camera shake correction process.
According to the above configuration, the camera shake amount detection unit detects the camera shake amount.
The composition determination determining unit determines whether or not the composition at the time of shooting is determined based on the degree of cross-correlation between a plurality of frames.
Thus, the correction control unit causes the camera shake correction unit to start the camera shake correction process when it is determined that the camera shake amount is less than the predetermined reference camera shake amount and the composition has been determined. Then, camera shake correction is performed on the captured image based on the detected amount of camera shake.
In this case, the correction control unit determines whether or not the number of times that the amount of camera shake is less than a predetermined reference camera shake amount and the number of times that the composition has been determined has exceeded a predetermined reference number of times within a predetermined time. When the number of times exceeds a predetermined reference number, the camera shake correction unit may start the camera shake correction process.
Further, the composition determination determining unit determines that the composition at the time of shooting is determined when the cross-correlation between consecutive frames including the current frame is equal to or higher than a predetermined reference cross-correlation. Also good.
Furthermore, the camera shake correction unit may perform the camera shake correction based on at least one of lens shift processing, CCD shift processing, and image processing.
Furthermore, the camera shake amount detection unit may include a gyro sensor and detect the camera shake amount based on an angular velocity detection signal output from the gyro sensor.
In addition, in the control method of an imaging apparatus including a camera shake correction mechanism that performs camera shake correction on an image captured based on the camera shake amount, whether or not the camera shake amount detection process for detecting the camera shake amount and the composition at the time of shooting have been determined. And a camera shake correction mechanism when it is determined that the amount of camera shake is less than a predetermined reference camera shake amount and the composition has been determined. And a correction process for starting the camera shake correction process according to the above.
Further, in a control program for controlling, by a computer, a camera shake amount detection device that detects a camera shake amount and an image pickup device that includes a camera shake correction mechanism that performs camera shake correction on an image captured based on the detected camera shake amount, the amount of camera shake is determined. And detecting whether or not the composition at the time of shooting is determined based on the degree of cross-correlation between a plurality of frames, and determining that the amount of camera shake is less than a predetermined reference camera shake amount and the composition is determined In the case where the camera shake is corrected, the camera shake correction process by the camera shake correction mechanism is started.

If it is determined in step S33 that at least one of the X-axis direction camera shake amount θx and the Y-axis direction camera shake amount θy exceeds an allowable value (step S33; Yes), the process proceeds to camera shake correction processing (step S34). ).

As described above, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to more accurately grasp the timing at which a user who is a photographer actually performs shooting based on the movement of the digital still camera and the movement of the composition. Since camera shake correction is required than before and the timing to operate the camera shake correction mechanism can be grasped more accurately, the timing for actually supplying power to the camera shake correction mechanism can be accurately grasped, and power consumption can be further reduced. Can be achieved.

Subsequently, whether or not the cross-correlation Y is greater than or equal to the reference correlation R, that is,
Y ≧ R
It is discriminate | determined whether it is (step S15).
When the cross correlation Y is smaller than the reference correlation R in the determination of step S15, that is,
Y <R
In this case, the number of satisfaction with the condition I = 0, assuming that the user is not yet ready for shooting, that is, the stage before shooting in which the zoom or the direction of the digital
When the cross-correlation Y is greater than or equal to the reference correlation R in the determination of step S15, that is,
Y ≧ R
If the camera shake amount is less than the predetermined reference camera shake amount, the degree of cross-correlation between the current frame and the previous frame is high, and it is determined that the composition has been determined (shooting condition) ) Is satisfied, the
Subsequently, the
When the condition satisfaction count I is equal to the reference satisfaction count Q in the determination of step S17, that is, when the photographing condition is continuously satisfied for the number of times corresponding to the reference satisfaction count Q, the
First, the
When the lens is driven and optical camera shake correction is performed, power is supplied to the lens driving camera shake correction mechanism that drives the lens, and camera shake correction is started based on the output of the camera shake
Then, CPU11 will perform the imaging | photography process (step S19; step S31-35) mentioned above.
Even in this case, in the camera shake correction processing, when the photographing
As described above, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to more accurately grasp the timing when the user who is the photographer actually performs photographing based on the movement of the digital still camera and the movement of the composition. Since camera shake correction is required than before and the timing for operating the camera shake correction mechanism can be grasped more accurately, the timing for actually supplying power to the camera shake correction mechanism can be accurately grasped, and power consumption can be further reduced. Can be planned.
In the above description, shooting is performed in accordance with the user's shutter switch operation in a state where the shooting condition is satisfied. However, the digital still camera automatically performs shooting in a state where the shooting condition is satisfied. It is also possible to realize an auto shutter function to be performed. According to this, since it is not necessary for the user to operate the shutter at the time of actual photographing, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of camera shake due to the shutter operation and obtain an image free from blur and blur.
In the above description, camera shake correction is performed only for camera shake in the X-axis and Y-axis directions. However, for the Z-axis (the optical axis direction of the lens), the camera-shake
In the above description, the digital still camera has been described. However, the present invention can be applied to other optical images such as a camera provided in a mobile phone, a PDA integrated camera, and a single-lens reflex camera.
In the above description, the configuration in which the shake amount is detected based on the angular velocity is illustrated, but the configuration is not limited thereto, and a configuration in which the shake amount (motion amount) is detected using an acceleration sensor may be employed.
