Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a film for laminating a thermoformed sheet to be laminated on a thermoformed sheet used for forming food trays, cups, etc., and more specifically, a biaxially stretched polypropylene film and a print which are not peeled off from the thermoformed sheet. The present invention relates to a film for laminating thermoformed sheets comprising layers.
In food stores such as convenience stores, department stores, and supermarkets, food containers such as trays, cups, and bowls are often packed with food such as side dishes and noodles. These food containers are generally produced by vacuum or vacuum / pressure forming of thermoformed sheets such as polypropylene sheets, expanded polypropylene sheets, filled polypropylene sheets, heat-resistant polystyrene sheets, heat-resistant foamed polystyrene sheets and the like.
These thermoformed sheets are rarely used alone. In the case of heat-resistant polystyrene sheets and heat-resistant foamed polystyrene sheets, polystyrene is weak against oil, and when used in foods containing oil, the container has holes when heated in a microwave oven. Due to problems such as opening, unstretched polypropylene film is laminated.
Also, in the case of polypropylene sheets, it is proposed to laminate a biaxially oriented polypropylene film to improve the so-called drawdown in which the central part of the sheet hangs down due to heating during molding and to give surface gloss. (For example, see
(例えば、特許文献3〜5参照) On the other hand, these polypropylene films are back-printed to increase the commercial value of food containers. There are two types of printing: oil-based gravure printing and water-based gravure printing. In recent years, bad odor during printing work with oil-based ink solvents, work environment for health, danger of explosion, residual solvent odor of printed materials, environmental pollution around the factory, CO (2) In order to meet the problem of reduction, the problem of wasteful use of solvent resources because all the solvent is volatilized, and the following laws and regulations, it is shifting to aqueous gravure printing.
However, the biaxially stretched polypropylene film proposed in
In addition, unstretched polypropylene film is oil-resistant, and even when it is heated in a microwave oven, even foods with high oil content do not open holes, so it is used by laminating on the inner surface of heat-resistant polystyrene sheets or heat-resistant foamed polystyrene sheets. However, it had no surface gloss and lacked cosmetic properties as a food container.

In the film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to
Moreover, since the printing layer is printed with the water-based gravure ink, it can respond to various laws and regulations such as the environment, and there is no residual solvent odor most important for food.
In the film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to claim 2, the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is biaxially stretched in the MD direction and TD direction simultaneously by the tubular method, as compared with the case of stretching using a tenter. Since the biaxial stretching can be performed easily and inexpensively, the capital investment can be reduced.
The film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to claim 3 uses a water-based gravure ink having a pigment concentration of 10 to 50% as the printing layer, has a screen line number of less than 200 lines by Helio engraving (stylus angle 130 degrees), plate depth Is printed with a plate cylinder of 35 μm or more, and then dried with hot air of 80 ° C. or more, it is possible to prevent the printing from becoming thin at the corner when the container is formed.
That is, when a biaxially stretched polypropylene film on which a printed biaxially stretched polypropylene film is laminated on a thermoformed sheet, the biaxially stretched polypropylene film follows the elongation of the thermoformed sheet when formed into a container. Thus, the stretched portion of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film has a small amount of ink and a lighter color. In particular, the corner portion of the container changes in color tone due to light color, which is not satisfactory even with oil-based gravure printing, and in water-based gravure printing, the amount of ink is further reduced, so the color tone changes. It was extremely prominent.
By the way, in order to prevent the printed color of the stretched portion from becoming thin when a container-molded laminate is formed by laminating a biaxially stretched polypropylene film and a thermoformed sheet, a pigment in the ink is used. This can be prevented by increasing the density to transfer many pigments and printing darkly. However, since the oil-based gravure ink is a method in which a pigment is dissolved in a solvent, when the pigment concentration increases, the viscosity of the oil-based gravure ink increases and deviates from an appropriate viscosity at the time of printing. Therefore, it has been difficult to increase the pigment concentration of the oil-based gravure ink.
On the other hand, since the water-based gravure ink is a system in which a pigment is dispersed in water, the viscosity does not increase even if the pigment concentration is increased, and the pigment concentration can be increased.
Table 1 shows the relationship between the pigment concentration and the viscosity of the oil-based gravure ink and the water-based gravure ink.
By the way, since the latent heat of evaporation of the solvent of the water-based gravure ink is 4.3 to 4.6 times that of the solvent of the oil-based gravure ink, the drying efficiency becomes a problem. A method has been proposed in which printing is performed with a plate cylinder having a number of 200 to 400 lines and a plate depth of 10 to 17 μm, and drying is performed without decreasing the printing speed by reducing the amount of ink transferred.
Therefore, even if the pigment concentration of the aqueous gravure ink is increased, the absolute amount of the pigment is also small because the transfer amount of the aqueous gravure ink is small, and as a result, sufficiently dark printing cannot be performed.
Table 2 shows the relationship between the number of screen lines, plate depth, and ink transfer amount by Helio engraving (stylus angle 130 degrees).
Suppose that a normal oil-based gravure plate with a screen line number of 175 lines and a plate cylinder with a plate depth of 42 μm is used for printing with an oil-based gravure ink pigment concentration of 10% and an aqueous gravure ink pigment concentration of 15%. transfer amount of the pigment in the oil-based gravure inks, 6.5g × 10/100 = 0.65g / m 2, in an aqueous gravure ink, a 6.5g × 15/100 = 0.975g / m 2. Therefore, 0.975 / 0.65 = 1.5, the water-based gravure ink has a pigment transfer amount 1.5 times that of the oil-based gravure ink, and as a result, the water-based gravure printing is 1.5 times darker than the oil-based gravure printing. Can be printed.
Further, in order to efficiently dry the water-based gravure ink, when water-based gravure printing is performed using a plate cylinder having a screen line number of 300 and a plate depth of 25 μm, the pigment transfer amount is 2.7 g × 15/100 = 0.405 g / m 2, and the less than the transition amount 0.65 g / m 2 of the pigment in the conventional oil-based gravure printing, becomes thinner than the oil-based gravure printing.
As described above, the density and printing speed of aqueous gravure printing contradict each other and it was difficult to achieve both, but printing was performed using a plate cylinder having a screen line number of less than 200 lines and a plate depth of 35 μm or more. It has been found that this can be achieved by drying with hot air of 80 ° C. or higher.
In the film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to claim 4, the vehicle of the aqueous gravure ink used for the printing layer is made of an adhesive component that thermally bonds the biaxially stretched polypropylene film and the thermoformed sheet, A biaxially stretched polypropylene film and a thermoformed sheet can be easily heat-bonded.
That is, since the thermoformed sheet is formed thick, it has high rigidity. Particularly, the foamed heat-resistant polystyrene sheet and the foamed polypropylene sheet have high rigidity, so that the dry laminating apparatus does not work with many rolls. Since pressure was required, the foamed cells would be crushed. Therefore, conventionally, in order to thermally bond a biaxially stretched polypropylene film and a thermoformed sheet, first, an adhesive film made of the same resin as the thermoformed sheet is bonded to the biaxially stretched polypropylene film by a dry laminate. This was done by heat bonding the adhesive film and the thermoformed sheet.
However, if an adhesive component that is thermally bonded to both the biaxially oriented polypropylene film and the thermoformed sheet is contained in the ink as a vehicle of the aqueous gravure ink, if the adhesive component is coated at the same time as printing, the thermoformed sheet is directly heated. It can be bonded and the adhesive film can be omitted and the dry laminating step can be omitted.
Conventionally, since it is bonded with an oil-based dry laminate, it complies with various laws and regulations of solvents, residual solvent odor, problem of working environment, problem of place aging at 40-60 ° C for 3-4 days, energy There are problems related to dry lamination, such as costs, and costs such as the cost of the same type of film as the sheet, but these can also be solved.
In the film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to claim 5, in the case of claim 4, by forming a coat layer composed of an adhesive component for thermally bonding the biaxially stretched polypropylene film and the thermoformed sheet on the printed layer surface. In the same way as above, the dry laminating process can be omitted and the biaxially oriented polypropylene film and thermoformed sheet can be easily heat-bonded, especially in the case of designs where unprinted parts remain instead of solid printing. is there.
In the thermoformed sheet laminating film according to claim 6, the printing layer is subjected to multicolor gravure printing with a gravure printing apparatus provided with a plurality of printing units including a printing step, a drying step, and a cooling step, and a biaxially oriented polypropylene film is obtained. The amount of heat applied in the drying process in each printing unit is cooled and erased in the cooling process so that the temperature in the printing process in each unit is substantially the same, thereby preventing printing misalignment.
That is, since the water-based gravure ink used for water-based gravure printing uses water (70%)-ethanol (30%) as a solvent, it is larger than the latent heat of evaporation of the oil-based gravure ink. For example, in an oil-based gravure ink, the latent heat of vaporization of toluene (40%)-acetic acid ethyl ester (40%)-isopropyl alcohol (20%) solvent (86.9 cal / g × 0.4) + (88.2 × 0) .4) + (159.2 × 0.2) = 101.9 cal / g, methyl ethyl ketone (40%)-acetic acid ethyl ester (40%)-isopropyl alcohol (20%) latent heat of vaporization of the solvent (105.0 × 0 .4) + (88.2 × 0.4) + (159.2 × 0.2) = 109.1 cal / g, solvent for aqueous gravure ink; water (70%)-ethanol (30%) The latent heat of vaporization is as high as (586.9 cal / g × 0.7) + (199.2 × 0.3) = 470.7 cal / g.
Therefore, in water-based gravure printing, in order to dry the water-based gravure ink, 4.3 (470.7 / 109.1) to 4.6 (470.7 / 101.9) times as much as oil-based gravure ink. A calorie was needed.
As countermeasures against the need for a large amount of heat for drying such water-based gravure ink, it is considered to increase the residence time in the drying process, increase the amount of hot air, or increase the temperature of hot air. However, it is not preferable to lengthen the residence time because the printing speed is slowed down. Increasing the air volume also causes modification of the equipment or fluttering of the film due to the wind. In order to efficiently apply heat, it is best to raise the hot air temperature, but the film temperature also rises, and when the film temperature rises, the film stretches and the print pitch of each color shifts. It was connected.
That is, when drying is performed by raising the temperature of hot air in order to efficiently apply heat and dry, depending on the amount of heat given in the drying process during the printing-drying-cooling process in each color printing unit of aqueous multicolor gravure printing. The temperature of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is increased, the cooling process is insufficient, the heat is accumulated gradually in the second and third colors, and the temperature gradually increases. As a result, the elongation of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film increases gradually, the already printed pattern stretches (the first color is the largest), and misprinting (color misalignment) that is unacceptable when misprinted on top of it. It is what happens. FIG. 5 shows the temperature dependence of the degree of extension of general-purpose stretched polypropylene (20 μm).
Therefore, no matter how much the hot air temperature is increased in the drying process, the amount of heat applied in the drying process in each printing unit is cooled and erased in the cooling process, and the temperature in the printing process in each unit becomes substantially the same. By doing so, the elongation at the time of printing of each color becomes substantially the same, and the elongation of the pattern becomes almost the same, so that no printing misalignment occurs.
That is, in a commercially available general-purpose stretched polypropylene film (20 μm), if the size of the design is 5 cm, it is known that the design is color misalignment if it deviates 0.2 mm or more. X100 = acceptable to a difference in elongation of 0.4%. If the printing temperature of the first color (film temperature at the time of printing) is 25 ° C., the elongation difference of 0.4% from the solid line of (OPP-20 μm) shown in FIG. If the film temperature at the time of each printing is cooled to about 43 ° C., the temperature when 0.7% of the film is stretched, the printing temperature is within an allowable range and printing deviation does not occur.
In the film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to claim 7, the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is cooled in the cooling step, the surface on the printing layer side is cooled by cold air and a cooling roll, and the surface on the anti-printing layer side has latent heat of evaporation. Biaxial stretching by applying one or two or more kinds of cooling liquids that are large and have a high vapor pressure and are easy to vaporize, then blown cold air to vaporize the cooling liquid and cool it by its latent heat of vaporization. A polypropylene film can be cooled efficiently.
In other words, conventionally, instantaneous cooling was performed only from the printed layer surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film with cold air and a cooling roll, so the residual heat remaining on the surface on the side opposite to the printed layer was transferred to the entire surface after leaving the cooling roll. It could not be cooled sufficiently. Therefore, the printed layer surface is cooled by conventional cold air and a cooling roll, and at the same time, a cooling liquid is applied to the surface on the side opposite to the printed layer, and then the cold layer is blown to vaporize and cool by the latent heat of evaporation. can do.
In the method for producing a film for laminating thermoformed sheets according to
The film for laminating a thermoformed sheet of the present invention has a biaxially stretched polypropylene film and a printed layer obtained by printing the biaxially stretched polypropylene film with an aqueous gravure ink. The biaxially stretched polypropylene film is biaxially stretched at stretch ratios of 3 to 6 times in the MD direction (film flow direction) and TD direction (direction perpendicular to the film flow direction). When the draw ratio is less than 3 times, the gloss of the film is inferior, and the thermal shrinkage rate due to orientation becomes small, which makes it unsuitable for preventing drawdown. If the draw ratio exceeds 6 times, it is excellent in gloss and suitable for prevention of drawdown, but the thermal shrinkage rate due to orientation increases, and film peeling from the sheet when thermoformed, stability of thermoforming, Inferior mold reproducibility. Moreover, it is preferable that the draw ratio of MD direction and TD direction is substantially the same magnification. By using substantially the same magnification, it is possible to suitably prevent the drawdown during thermoforming and the mold reproducibility of the molded product.
The biaxially stretched polypropylene film stretched at the stretch ratio as described above is heat-treated by relaxing both in the MD direction and in the TD direction. This heat treatment is not particularly limited, but a tenter (constant temperature chamber) or a heat roll is used.
In the biaxially stretched polypropylene film, the shrinkage rate of the 120 ° C. glycerin bath is 0.5 to 15% in both the MD direction and the TD direction, and preferably 0.5 to 10%. If the shrinkage rate is less than 0.5%, drawdown cannot be prevented, and if the shrinkage rate exceeds 15%, drawdown during thermoforming can be prevented, but peeling from the sheet and stability of thermoforming, The mold reproducibility is poor.
The 120 ° C. glycerin bath is obtained by immersing a biaxially stretched polypropylene film in glycerin, which is heated and kept at 120 ° C., for 5 seconds.
As the polypropylene resin used in the biaxially stretched polypropylene film of the present invention, for example, a polypropylene homopolymer resin, an ethylene / propylene random copolymer resin, a mixed resin of a propylene homopolymer resin and an ethylene / propylene random copolymer resin is preferably used. Can do.
The MFR of the polypropylene resin is preferably 0.3 to 15.0 g / 10 minutes, and more preferably 1.0 to 10.0 g / 10 minutes. When the MFR is less than 0.3 g / 10 min, when the film is molded by the tubular method, the surface skin is deteriorated and the moldability is also poor. On the other hand, if the MFR exceeds 15.0 g / 10 min, uneven thickness tends to occur and a film with good thickness accuracy cannot be obtained.
In the case of an ethylene / propylene random copolymer resin or a mixed resin of a propylene homopolymer resin and an ethylene / propylene random copolymer resin, the ethylene content is preferably 2.0% by weight or less, and 1.0% by weight or less. More preferred. When the ethylene content exceeds 2.0% by weight, the gloss is improved but the heat treatment temperature has to be lowered, the shrinkage rate at the time of molding increases, and when thermoformed, peeling from the sheet, It will be inferior in stability and mold reproducibility.
Furthermore, additives such as other resins, lubricants, antiblocking agents, antistatic agents, antifogging agents and the like can be appropriately used for these polypropylene resins as long as they do not hinder the original purpose.
In order to produce a biaxially stretched polypropylene film, simultaneous biaxial stretching is preferably performed by a tubular method. In order to perform simultaneous biaxial stretching by the tubular method, first, a polypropylene resin is put into an extruder, extruded into a tube shape below a round die, and the inside of the tube is slid onto a mandrel cooled with cooling water. The outside is taken up while being cooled with water in a water tank to produce a tube-shaped unstretched film. And this tubular unstretched film is simultaneously biaxially stretched with a tubular biaxial stretching apparatus.
An example of a tubular biaxial stretching apparatus is shown in FIG. In the tubular biaxial stretching apparatus of FIG. 1, the
Stretching in the TD direction is performed by air pressure in the tube, and stretching in the MD direction is performed by a speed difference between the nip roll 2 and the nip roll 7.
The tube-shaped
The thickness of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is preferably 10 to 100 μm, and more preferably 15 to 50 μm. If the thickness is less than 10 μm, an extremely thin portion may be formed or cut in the stretched portion during thermoforming. If the thickness is more than 100 μm, the cost is high, and the overall heat shrinkage force is increased. As the size increases, molding stability and mold reproducibility become poor.
The biaxially stretched polypropylene film is laminated with a printing layer printed with an aqueous gravure ink. Water-based gravure printing is the most important as a food container, as well as responding to various laws and regulations, bad odor during work, danger of explosion, environmental pollution around the factory, CO 2 reduction, wasteful use of resources, etc. There is no solvent odor that makes it a residual solvent.
A water-based gravure ink is prepared by mixing a pigment (10-50%) with a mixed solvent (20-80%) in which water (70-80%) and an organic solvent (ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, propyl alcohol 20-30%) are mixed. Vehicle (10-30%) is dispersed.
If the concentration of the pigment is less than 10%, the predetermined printing density cannot be obtained, and the color of the bottom corner of the container becomes light when it is molded by thermoforming. On the other hand, if it exceeds 50%, the viscosity becomes high and printing becomes impossible.
The vehicle is preferably composed of an adhesive component that heat-bonds the biaxially stretched polypropylene film and the sheet. As the adhesive component, a urethane vehicle and an acrylic vehicle are generally used. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and both of them are mixed, or other third component (for example, a urethane vehicle and a PP vehicle) is mixed. In addition, a completely different adhesive component that is thermally bonded to both the biaxially stretched polypropylene film and the laminated film may be used as the vehicle.
If the print is not a solid print but a pattern with an unprinted portion, a coat layer made of an adhesive component that heat-bonds the biaxially stretched polypropylene film and the sheet is laminated on the surface of the pattern print layer. Is preferred. This adhesive component is the same as the vehicle of the water-based gravure ink described above.
Since the content of the vehicle in the aqueous gravure ink is a dispersion system, the viscosity does not increase even if the concentration is increased, but it is preferably 10 to 30%. When the content of the vehicle is less than 10%, it becomes difficult to ensure a vehicle thickness of 0.5 μm or more necessary for adhesion. If it exceeds 30%, blocking may occur when the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is rolled. In these ranges, the content is adjusted so that the vehicle thickness will be described later when printing is performed with a plate cylinder having a screen line number of less than 200 lines and a plate depth of 35 μm or more.
The thickness of the vehicle after printing needs to be 0.5 μm or more. Further, in the case of a thermoformed sheet having unevenness, the thickness is further required. Now, assuming that printing is performed with a water-based gravure ink having a vehicle content of 15% using a plate cylinder having a screen line number of 175 and a plate depth of 42 μm, which is a normal oil-based gravure plate, the screen line numbers and plate depths shown in Table 2 above are used. And the transfer amount of the ink, it is 6.5 g × 15/100 = 0.975 g / m 2. When the thickness is set, the specific gravity is about 1, and the thickness is 0.975 g / 10,000 cm 2 = 0.98 μm. Since it is 5 μm or more, sufficient adhesive force can be obtained.
However, as proposed in Patent Document 4, in order to efficiently dry the water-based gravure ink, when water-based gravure printing is performed using a plate cylinder having 300 screen lines and a plate depth of 25 μm, the thickness of the vehicle Is 2.7 g × 15/1000 = 0.41 g. The thickness is 0.41 μm, and since it is 0.5 μm or less, sufficient adhesive force cannot be obtained.
The plate cylinder used for aqueous gravure printing preferably has a screen line number of less than 200 lines and a plate depth of 35 μm or more by Helio engraving (stylus angle 130 degrees), a screen line number of 175 lines and a plate depth of 42 μm. More preferred. By using the plate cylinder as described above, an amount of vehicle necessary for adhesion can be transferred, and even a portion stretched by thermoforming can be printed darkly so that the color does not become thin.
The air volume in the drying step is set to 40 to 70 m 3 / min, similar to the air volume for drying in oil-based gravure printing, and is dried with hot air at 80 ° C. to 100 ° C. in order to efficiently add heat. The higher the temperature of the hot air, the more heat can be given and the printing speed can be increased, but as the temperature rises, the amount of loss is lost by the device etc., and if the temperature is too high, the biaxially oriented polypropylene film Therefore, a proper hot air temperature suitable for the printing speed is required.
If the printing speed is 120 m / min which is substantially the same as that of oil-based gravure printing, the hot air temperature is preferably about 100 ° C. The dried biaxially oriented polypropylene film is stretched due to the rise in temperature due to the heat of the hot air, and printing misalignment occurs when printing in the printing process of the next color as it is. Cool in the cooling process.
In the cooling process, the amount of heat applied to the biaxially stretched polypropylene film in the drying process is erased, and the biaxially stretched polypropylene film temperature in the printing process in each unit is made substantially the same. Although the cooling can be performed only on the surface on the printing layer side of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film, it is preferable to cool the surface on the side opposite to the printing layer simultaneously with the surface on the printing layer side. By cooling both sides of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film, it can be efficiently cooled, and the temperature of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film can be lowered to a predetermined temperature in the next printing step without decreasing the printing speed.
To cool the surface on the printed layer side and the surface on the anti-printing layer side of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film, for example, the surface on the printing layer side is cooled by cold air and a cooling roll, and the surface on the anti-printing layer side is for cooling. After applying the liquid, it is possible to vaporize the cooling liquid by blowing cold air and cool it by the latent heat of evaporation. Thus, by cooling using the cooling liquid, it is possible to efficiently cool with a simple structure.
Since the cooling liquid takes heat away from the latent heat of vaporization, the latent heat of vaporization is large, the boiling point is low, the vapor pressure is high, and it is easy to vaporize. Such a cooling liquid can be prepared as a mixed liquid in which one kind or two or more kinds of liquids are mixed. For example, lower alcohols such as methanol and ethanol alone may be used. However, when it is desired to increase the latent heat of vaporization, water with the highest latent heat of vaporization is the main component, and it can be dissolved in water at any ratio and is easily vaporized. And an auxiliary liquid that supplements the surface tension can be used.
Such auxiliary liquids include lower alcohols and esters, but lower alcohols having high latent heat of vaporization and high vapor pressure are preferred. Ethanol may be used, but methanol is most preferred from the viewpoint of cost. Table 4 shows data on boiling points, vaporization (evaporation) latent heat, vapor pressure, and surface tension of esters and lower alcohols.
The physical property values of the mixed liquid are values between water and methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate, except for the vapor pressure. Since the vapor pressure evaporates independently in the gas phase in situ, it is the sum of both. As the proportion of the mixed liquid increases, the latent heat of vaporization increases as the amount of water increases, but it becomes difficult to vaporize. When the proportion of methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate increases, the vaporization tends to occur but the heat of vaporization decreases. For example, the ratio of water to methanol can be set from water (10 to 90%): methanol (10 to 90%) in consideration of the vaporization rate and the degree of latent heat of evaporation.
Application of the cooling liquid is not particularly limited as long as it can be applied substantially uniformly. For example, the cooling liquid may be sprayed in the form of a spray or applied through a roll. It is preferable to apply the liquid by immersing the cooling liquid in the cloth of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film on the cooling roll and bringing the Morton roll into contact with the biaxially oriented polypropylene film on the cooling roll because it can be uniformly applied with a simple apparatus. .
Cooling air is blown onto the surface on which the cooling liquid is applied to promote vaporization of the cooling liquid. By blowing cold air, the vapor of the cooling liquid is removed from the gas phase around the surface to which the cooling liquid is applied, so that vaporization is promoted. At this stage, even if some of the applied cooling liquid remains, it will vaporize on the subsequent transport line, and at the same time, the film will be cooled and completely vaporized by the time of printing the next color. The temperature of the stretched polypropylene film is lowered to the temperature at the time of printing in the previous printing process.
Cooling is more effective as it cools because the elongation decreases, but it is important that the biaxially stretched polypropylene film temperature during printing of each color from the first color to the final color is substantially constant. It is.
The water-based gravure printing apparatus that performs the water-based gravure printing as described above includes a cooling roll around which the surface on the printing layer side of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film is wound around each cooling unit, and printing that blows cold air on the surface on the printing layer side Cold air spraying means for the surface on the layer side, cooling liquid application means for applying the cooling liquid to the surface on the anti-printing layer side, and cold air is sprayed on the surface to which the cooling liquid is applied by the cooling liquid application means What provided the cold wind spraying means for vaporization promotion can be used.
The cooling liquid application means is not particularly limited as long as it can apply a cooling liquid, such as a Morton roll and a spray. The vaporizing promotion cold air blowing means is not particularly limited as long as it can remove the gas around the coated surface. As the cooling roll and the printing layer surface cold air spraying means, those conventionally used can be used.

In FIGS. 2 and 3,

The
In order to perform gravure printing using the water-based gravure printing apparatus as described above, the biaxially stretched
In the
Therefore, the

Next, the biaxially stretched polypropylene film thus stretched was introduced into a tenter (constant temperature chamber), relaxed by 8% in the MD direction and 5% in the TD direction, and heat-treated at 150 ° C.
In this way, printing is performed, the density at each location is measured (after 10 minutes from the start of printing), the behavior of the temperature is grasped, and the film temperature during printing of each color from the first color to the fifth color is substantially the same temperature. I checked if it was. The temperature was measured using a radiation thermometer. In addition, the printed matter was observed with the naked eye, and the presence or absence of color protrusion in the lily floral pattern was examined (color protrusion occurred when printing misalignment occurred).
Table 5 shows the measurement results.

The measured temperatures in Table 5 are as follows. Corresponding portions are shown in FIG.
