Description
The present invention relates to a suspension board assembly sheet with circuit and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, a suspension board assembly sheet with circuit in which a plurality of suspension boards with circuit are supported in an aligned state by a support frame, and the suspension with circuit The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a substrate assembly sheet.
The suspension board with circuit is mounted on the hard disk drive, mounted with the magnetic head, and against the air flow when the magnetic head is moved relatively to the magnetic disk, between the magnetic disk and the circuit board. A conductor pattern for supporting the magnetic head and the read / write substrate is integrally formed so as to support it while maintaining a minute interval.
Such a suspension board with circuit is manufactured as a suspension board assembly sheet with circuit in which a plurality of suspension boards with circuit are formed on one metal support board.
More specifically, each suspension board with circuit covers a metal support layer, a base insulating layer formed on the metal support layer, a conductor pattern formed on the base insulating layer, and the conductor pattern. As described above, the insulating cover layer formed on the insulating base layer is provided, and in the manufacture thereof, on one metal support substrate, in an aligned state, corresponding to each suspension board with circuit, After sequentially forming the base insulating layer, the conductor pattern, and the cover insulating layer, the metal supporting board is partially cut out so as to correspond to the outer shape of each suspension board with circuits, and each suspension board with circuits and each circuit with And a suspension frame with a circuit in which a plurality of suspension boards with circuits are arranged on a single metal supporting board. It is manufactured as Pensions board assembly sheet.
And the continuity inspection of each suspension board with circuit manufactured in this way is carried out one by one in the state supported by the support frame in the suspension board assembly sheet with circuit, and as a result of the inspection, it is determined as a defective product. Each of the suspension boards with a circuit is provided with a determination mark. For example, when it is determined as a defective product, it is proposed to mark the determination mark with a sign pen (for example, Patent Documents). 1).
However, if the suspension board with circuit is marked with a sign pen, the determination mark (ink) is washed away in the subsequent cleaning process, and it is impossible to determine whether the suspension board with circuit is good or bad. This causes the problem of reattaching to other parts and contaminating the suspension board with circuit.
In recent years, with the downsizing of the suspension board with circuit, there is a demand for marking the determination mark small. However, when marking with a sign pen, if the thickness of the sign pen is made thinner than a certain value, the determination mark cannot be reliably marked. Therefore, there is a limit to making the determination mark small in the marking with the sign pen.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a suspension board assembly with circuit, in which a determination mark that can be reliably formed without being washed away in a cleaning process is provided on a suspension board with circuit determined to be defective.
In the suspension board assembly sheet with circuit of the present invention, it is preferable that the determination mark has a substantially conical shape with an apex angle of 80 ° or more.
In the suspension board assembly sheet with circuit of the present invention, it is preferable that the determination mark is formed in a concave shape having a maximum length in a plan view of 50 to 500 μm.
Also, in the suspension board with circuit assembly sheet of the present invention, each suspension board with circuit is formed on a metal support layer, an insulating layer formed on the metal support layer, and the insulating layer. It is preferable that it is provided so as to protrude in the direction of the movement.
The method of manufacturing a suspension board assembly sheet with circuit of the present invention includes a step of preparing a metal support board, and a plurality of insulating layers are formed on the metal support board corresponding to each suspension board with circuit. A step of forming a plurality of conductor patterns on each insulating layer corresponding to each suspension board with circuit, and a portion of the metal support board so as to correspond to the outer shape of each suspension board with circuit. According to the suspension board with circuit assembly sheet of the present invention, the determination mark for distinguishing from the suspension board with circuit determined to be a non-defective product is provided on the suspension board with circuit determined by the dent mark. ing. Therefore, the determination mark is not washed away in the subsequent cleaning process, and it is possible to reliably determine whether the suspension board with circuit is good or bad. Furthermore, since the determination mark is provided not by ink but by a dent, it is possible to prevent the suspension board with circuit from being contaminated by reattaching the ink to other portions other than the determination mark.
Further, since the determination mark is provided by a dent, a smaller determination mark can be accurately and reliably formed than when the determination mark is provided by a sign pen. Therefore, the space required for providing the determination mark can be reduced, and the suspension board with circuit can be reduced in size.
In the method of manufacturing a suspension board assembly sheet with circuit according to the present invention, a determination mark for identifying a suspension board with circuit determined to be defective from a suspension board with circuit determined to be non-defective is provided by a dent mark. In addition, since the determination mark is provided by a dent, a smaller determination mark can be accurately and reliably formed than when the determination mark is provided by a sign pen.

Next, in this method, as shown in FIG. 5F, the surface of the determination
The suspension board assembly sheet with
According to the suspension board with
In addition, since the
Further, in this suspension board assembly sheet with
Furthermore, in this suspension board assembly sheet with
Further, a stress relaxation region S is formed in the region from the edge of the base end portion of the determination
This stress relaxation region S is formed with a through-hole in the region from the end edge of the base end portion of the determination
In the above description, the determination
Further, in the above description, the determination
