Abstract
【解決手段】温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路は、PWM制御のための鋸歯波V1を生成する波形生成部310と、周囲温度の変化に応じて抵抗値が線形的に可変され、上記可変される抵抗値による電圧V2を検出する温度出部320と、上記波形生成部310の鋸歯波V1と上記温度検出部320の検出電圧V2を比較してその比較結果によって決定されたデューティを有するPWM電圧Vpwmを生成するPWM制御部330を含む。

Claims (9)
- PWM制御のための鋸歯波を生成する波形生成部と、
周囲温度の変化に応じて抵抗値が線形的に可変され、前記可変される抵抗値による電圧を検出する温度検出部と、
前記波形生成部の鋸歯波と前記温度検出部の検出電圧を比較してその比較結果によって決定されたデューティを有するPWM電圧を生成するPWM制御部と、
を具備することを特徴とする温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記PWM制御部からのPWM電圧によってLEDバックライトを駆動させる駆動部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。
- 前記温度検出部は、
周囲温度の変化に応じて抵抗値が可変され、前記可変される抵抗値を利用してディミング電圧を分割して検出電圧に出力する温度検出回路部と、
前記温度検出回路部からの検出電圧と前記ディミング電圧の差電圧を出力する比較部と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記温度検出回路部は、
前記ディミング電圧端と接地端との間に、相互直列に連結された第1、第2抵抗と、
前記第1抵抗または第2抵抗に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する抵抗値をもつ第1温度検出素子と、
前記第1温度検出素子に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する各抵抗値をもち相互直列に連結された複数の温度検出素子と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記温度検出回路部は、
前記ディミング電圧端と接地端との間に、相互直列に連結された第1、第2抵抗と、
前記第2抵抗に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する抵抗値をもつ第1温度検出素子と、
前記第1温度検出素子に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する各抵抗値をもち相互直列に連結された第2及び第3温度検出素子と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記比較部は、
前記第1抵抗と第2抵抗の接続ノードから検出された検出電圧の入力を受ける反転入力端と、前記ディミング電圧の入力を受ける非反転入力端と、前記反転入力端を通じた検出電圧と前記非反転入力端を通じたディミング電圧の差電圧を出力する出力端とを含む比較器から成ることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記温度検出回路部は、
前記ディミング電圧端と接地端との間に、相互直列に連結された第1、第2抵抗と、
前記第1抵抗に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する抵抗値をもつ第1温度検出素子と、
前記第1温度検出素子に並列に連結され、周囲温度に相応する各抵抗値をもち相互直列に連結された第2及び第3温度検出素子と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記比較部は、
前記第1抵抗と第2抵抗の接続ノードから検出された検出電圧を入力として受ける非反転入力端と、前記ディミング電圧を入力として受ける反転入力端と、前記非反転入力端を通じた検出電圧と前記反転入力端を通じたディミング電圧の差電圧を出力する出力端とを含む比較器から成ることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。 - 前記PWM制御部は、
前記波形生成部の鋸歯波を入力として受ける反転入力端と、前記温度検出部の検出電圧を入力として受ける非反転入力端と、前記反転入力端の鋸歯波と前記非反転入力端の検出電圧を比較してその比較結果によって決定されたデューティを有するPWM電圧を出力する出力端とを含む比較器から成ることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか一の請求項に記載の温度補償機能を有するLED駆動制御回路。
