上記回転体と基台の間には周方向に間隙部を設けると共に、該間隙部にはボールを上記回転体の回転軸方向から収納自在な収納部を形成し、
上記クリック機構は上記間隙部の収納部に納められるボールと、上記回転体の回転と連動して上記ボールに係脱するカム山と、上記ボールを上記回転体の回転軸方向から上記カム山に向かって付勢する弾性部材とからなることを特徴とする回転入力装置。
