Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fluid cleaning device, and more particularly to an improvement of a cleaning device using a photocatalytic substance containing titanium dioxide having photocatalytic action.
In general, titanium dioxide is often used as a photocatalyst material because it is stable as a substance and has high safety.
With regard to the photocatalytic reaction of titanium dioxide, for example, active oxygen species such as OH radicals and superoxide anions generated by irradiating titanium dioxide with ultraviolet rays around 380 nm oxidatively decompose pollutants.
With such a mechanism, air and water can be purified. Furthermore, active oxygen has an antibacterial performance by attacking bacteria, and it has a self-cleaning performance by decomposing dirt on the substrate surface. Can be made.
For example, FIG. 12 proposes a cleaning device using such a photocatalytic action. This apparatus is configured as follows. That is, in the figure, A is a cylindrical metal main body, and an air introduction part B is formed on one side wall thereof. Inside one of the main bodies A, a fan C is fixed to a holder D fixed inside the main body. In addition, a pair of holders E and E, which are spaced apart from each other, are fixed inside the main body above the holder D, and a straight tubular ultraviolet lamp F that emits ultraviolet light of around 380 nm is disposed at the center of the holders E and E. Is supported in a penetrating state. A plurality of filters G are passed through and fixed to the ultraviolet lamp F so that a gap H is formed between the peripheral edge portion and the inner surface of the main body A. The filter G is configured by pressing a thin disc shape after mixing bamboo charcoal and titanium dioxide, for example.
This cleaning device operates as follows. First, when this apparatus is placed in an indoor space to be cleaned and the fan C is driven, the contaminated air is introduced into the main body from the introduction part B formed on one side of the main body A, and the other side as indicated by the arrow in the figure. It is forcibly discharged from the (upper) opening to the indoor space.
The contaminated air introduced into the main body A is discharged again from the other opening to the indoor space through the gap H or directly through the gap H while contacting the respective filters G. When the introduced air comes into contact with the filter G, some contaminants are attached (or adsorbed) to the filter G.
Contaminants adhering to the filter G are decomposed based on a photocatalytic reaction caused by irradiating the titanium dioxide with ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet lamp F. The air from which the pollutants have been removed (purified air) is discharged from the upper opening into the indoor space together with the contaminated air passing through the gap H. By repeating such an operation, the air in the indoor space is gradually cleaned.
However, in the above-described apparatus, although the contaminated air in the indoor space can be cleaned, a clearance H is formed between the filter G and the main body A, so that the cleaning is performed from the upper opening of the main body A. The mixed air and contaminated air are discharged into the indoor space in a mixed state. For this reason, there is a problem that it takes a long time to clean the air in the indoor space.
However, the same problem remains even if the gap H is reduced. That is, because the filter G is manufactured by mixing bamboo charcoal powder and titanium dioxide powder and pressing it into a thin disk, the filter itself is also porous because the bamboo charcoal is porous. There is no permeability (permeability) that allows air to pass through.
For this reason, the flow of air inside the main body A is concentrated in the gap H, and the chance that contaminated air comes into contact with the filter G is slightly increased, and although the cleaning by the photocatalytic reaction is promoted to some extent, As a result of the flow being suppressed, the amount of discharge into the indoor space is reduced. As a result, it takes a long time to clean the indoor space.
In addition, the filter G is pressed by mixing bamboo charcoal and titanium dioxide powder as described above, so it is vulnerable to mechanical shock, easily damaged by handling in assembly operations, and productivity is impaired. There is also a problem.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a fluid cleaning device that can promote a cleaning effect while maintaining an appropriate amount of a moving flow rate of the fluid introduced into the main body.
Therefore, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a cylindrical main body in which a fluid can flow from one side to the other, a filter disposed inside the main body, and an ultraviolet ray generating device disposed inside the main body. The filter is configured to hold granular photocatalytic silica gel with a holding member through which fluid can pass, and is arranged inside the main body so that the fluid moves substantially through the filter. And
The second aspect of the present invention provides a cylindrical main body that allows fluid to flow from one side to the other, a filter disposed inside the main body, an ultraviolet ray generator disposed inside the main body, One and / or the other is provided with a fan arranged so that fluid is introduced from one of the main bodies and discharged from the other, and the filter holds the granular photocatalytic silica gel with a holding member through which the fluid can pass. Has a holding function of granular photocatalytic silica gel, and is composed of a mesh, punching metal, etc. having fluid passage holes, and the fifth invention is a pair of holding filters having fluid passage holes. Particulate photocatalyst silica gel is accommodated between the members, and the peripheral portion is sealed.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the ultraviolet ray generator is composed of a region exhibiting a photocatalytic action, for example, an ultraviolet lamp that emits ultraviolet rays in the vicinity of 380 nm, and is disposed so as to penetrate the filter at a substantially central portion of the main body. According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, the ultraviolet ray generator comprises a plurality of light emitting diodes that radiate ultraviolet rays in the vicinity of 380 nm, for example, a region exhibiting a photocatalytic action, and the filter is irradiated with ultraviolet rays inside the main body. The eighth aspect of the invention is characterized in that a sub-filter that disturbs the flow of fluid is arranged separately on the front side of the filter (the side of introducing the fluid into the filter).
Further, the ninth aspect of the present invention is a cylindrical main body capable of flowing gas from one side to the other, a filter disposed inside the main body, and disposed so as to penetrate the filter at a substantially central portion of the main body. And a fan arranged so that gas is introduced from one side of the main body and discharged from the other on one and / or the other of the main body, and the filter is granular by a holding member through which gas can pass. The photocatalytic silica gel is held, arranged inside the main body so that the gas substantially moves through the filter, and an opening for introducing the gas is formed on one side wall of the main body. Features.
Further, the tenth invention of the present invention is characterized in that the filter is arranged so that the curved concave portion thereof is on the gas introduction side, and the eleventh invention is provided in a portion separated from the curved concave portion side of the filter. The sub-filter for disturbing the gas flow is arranged, and the twelfth invention is characterized in that a photocatalyst layer is formed on the inner surface of the main body.
As described above, according to the present invention, the filter arranged inside the main body holds the surface layer of granular silica gel and the granular photocatalytic silica gel containing titanium dioxide inside by the holding member through which fluid can pass. Since it is configured, the fluid always moves through the filter, and at that time, contaminants and the like contained in the fluid can be efficiently adsorbed and captured by the filter. For this reason, pollutants can be efficiently decomposed by the photocatalytic reaction.
In particular, since photocatalytic silica gel is permeable to ultraviolet rays, not only the surface layer portion of the photocatalytic silica gel on the fluid introduction side but also titanium dioxide on the opposite surface layer portion is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, resulting in a photocatalytic reaction. In addition, it is possible to efficiently decompose pollutants in almost all the surface layers of the filter.
In addition, since photocatalytic silica gel is porous, titanium dioxide is contained not only in the surface layer part but also in the internal porous part, so that contaminants adsorbed and trapped in the internal porous part are also reliably detected by the photocatalytic reaction. Can be decomposed.
In addition, if the filter is configured in a curved shape and a tubular ultraviolet ray generator is arranged at the center, more fluid is guided to pass through and move in the curved part where the irradiation intensity of ultraviolet rays is strong. The photocatalytic effect in the part is increased, and the pollutants are efficiently decomposed.
Furthermore, since the filter is arranged inside the main body so that the fluid moves substantially through the filter, the rate at which uncleaned fluid is discharged from the main body is very low, for example The power space can be efficiently cleaned.
Next, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In the figure,
A substantially disc-

Next, the operation of the fluid purification apparatus according to the present invention will be described. First, the device of the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 2 is arranged in an upright state in an indoor space where, for example, air purification is required. Next, when a power switch (not shown) is turned on, the
On the other hand, since the
In particular, the
In addition, since silica gel, which is a constituent element of the photocatalytic silica gel 8, has ultraviolet ray permeability, when the ultraviolet ray is transmitted, it is irradiated to both the inside and the inclined titanium dioxide of the silica gel. For this reason, as a result of the photocatalytic reaction occurring not only in the surface layer portion of the silica gel but also in the internal porous portion, an excellent photocatalytic effect is obtained.
Therefore, since the amount of introduced air that passes through the portion of the
Since the
Note that the photocatalytic reaction does not act only on the substance adsorbed on the photocatalytic silica gel 8 but also acts on contaminants contained in the air moving through the filter.
Next, the present inventor conducted a confirmation experiment on the cleaning effect on formaldehyde using the above-described apparatus of the present invention.
First, the apparatus of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 is placed upright in a bottomed cylindrical stainless steel case (corresponding to the main body 1) having a diameter of 600 mm and a height of 600 mm, and the opening of the case is sealed with a lid. . Next, 0.06 ml of a 37% solution of formaldehyde is mixed in the case as a contaminant, and the inside of the case is set to an indoor concentration guideline value of 0.3 ppm as a toxicity index of the volatile organic compound. Then, it is measured to what extent the mixed formaldehyde is reduced after 20 hours by operating the apparatus of the present invention. For measurement, an XP-3293 “odor sensor” manufactured by Shin Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. was used. The filter of the device of the present invention uses two types of five layers and two layers, and a fan is added to the discharge section only in the case of five layers (see the configuration of FIG. 6 described later). Further, a DC motor VFA-8018-BH10 made by Style Electronics was used as the fan.
The result of the experiment is shown in FIG. In addition, the numerical value of a figure is shown by the relative value which made the state before operation | movement of this
As is clear from the figure, in the device of the present invention (single fan) having the configuration shown in FIG. 1, formaldehyde is reduced to 55% of the initial value after 20 hours of continuous operation, and the present invention having the configuration shown in FIG. The apparatus (double fan) decreases to 47%, whereas in the conventional example, it decreases only to 73%, indicating that the apparatus of the present invention exhibits an excellent cleaning effect.
In addition, it has been confirmed by another experiment that contaminants such as acetaldehyde, ammonia, and nicotine also exhibit a cleaning effect by photocatalysis.

Next, a second manufacturing method of the filter according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

It is desirable that one holding
Next, a third manufacturing method of the filter according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

Next, a second embodiment of the cleaning device according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
The basic configuration of this embodiment is the same as that of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 2, except that a

FIG. 7 illustrates a third embodiment of the cleaning device according to the present invention, and the basic configuration is the same as the embodiment shown in FIGS. The difference is that each
According to this embodiment, the
FIG. 8 illustrates a fourth embodiment of the cleaning apparatus according to the present invention, and the basic configuration is the same as the embodiment shown in FIGS. A different point is that the sub-filter 14 is arranged on the front side (air introduction side) of the

FIG. 10 illustrates a sixth embodiment of the cleaning apparatus according to the present invention, and the basic configuration is the same as the embodiment shown in FIGS. The difference is that the

FIG. 12 illustrates an eighth embodiment of the cleaning device according to the present invention, and the basic configuration is the same as the embodiment shown in FIGS. The difference lies in that the
According to this embodiment, a large amount of the fluid moving in the main body is guided by the curved
In particular, in the same figure, as shown by the dotted line, if a reverse filter is appropriately disposed, a further cleaning effect can be expected.
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately modified within the scope not departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, the filter is preferably configured in a curved shape, but may be configured in a flat shape, and the number of filters arranged in the main body can be appropriately increased or decreased. Further, it is also possible to arrange curved or flat filters in an appropriate combination, or arrange curved filters randomly without unifying the directions of the curved concave portions in the same direction. Further, the support of the filter to the main body is not limited to a support structure using elastic contact support or support metal fittings as long as almost all fluid moving in the main body moves through the filter. The main body is preferably cylindrical, but can be set to an appropriate shape such as a rectangular tube. Furthermore, the ultraviolet ray generator is not limited to an ultraviolet lamp or a light emitting diode as long as it causes a photocatalytic reaction. In particular, when an ultraviolet lamp is applied, a plurality of lamps are used or a portion other than the central portion of the main body is used. It can also be arranged.
