Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle clutch control device having a mechanical automatic transmission function, and more particularly to a clutch control device that optimally controls torque in creep travel.
In recent years, mechanical automatic transmissions have been developed and put to practical use as automatic transmissions, with automatic transmissions provided by attaching actuators to transmission gear mechanisms and clutch mechanisms similar to those of manual vehicles. It is mainly applied to large vehicles such as buses.
In the mechanical automatic transmission, in the idle state, when the brake is released when the gear position is a position other than neutral and parking, the vehicle moves forward by the creep force even when the accelerator pedal is not depressed.
There has been proposed a method for preventing the occurrence of sudden braking and shock during acceleration by controlling the engagement of the clutch during such creep running (see Patent Document 1).
In the above method, the creep force is controlled and the occurrence of shock during sudden braking and acceleration can be prevented, but the feeling of torque loss that occurs when the clutch rotational speed becomes equal to the engine rotational speed cannot be prevented. There is a problem that the driving feeling is lowered.
FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a change in torque in conventional clutch control during creep running.
It is assumed that the engine is idling and the gear is set to other than neutral and parking. From
When creeping, it is desirable to keep this creep force optimal while maintaining the half-clutch state. If the creep force is too weak, the vehicle cannot be started. On the other hand, if the creep force is too strong, the clutch will suddenly connect and a shock will occur, or the engine speed will drop sharply and the engine will stall. There's a problem. The above-mentioned
However, there is a problem that a feeling of torque loss occurs when the clutch is completely connected even in the case of an appropriate creep force.
That is, as shown in FIG. 6, after releasing the brake pedal at time t 1, gradually connect the clutch between the time t 1 of t 2, after a lapse of half clutch state, the clutch at time t 2 Control to be completely touched.
During this period, gradually increases the clutch rotational speed from time t 1 t 2, and reaches the engine speed at time t 2, the time when the clutch speed and the engine rotational speed is matched, the clutch is completely connected As a result, the engine torque drops sharply and you feel a sense of slipping. This reduction in engine torque occurs because the clutch slip torque (= friction coefficient × pressing force) generated in the clutch during the half-clutch is eliminated by completely engaging the clutch.
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to control a clutch control that suppresses a decrease in clutch torque that occurs when the clutch is completely connected during creep travel, and enables creep travel without a feeling of disconnection. To provide an apparatus.
The present invention for solving the above-described problems is directed to an engine, a transmission, a friction clutch interposed between the engine and the transmission, a clutch actuator that drives the friction clutch, and the operation of the clutch actuator. And a clutch control means for controlling the clutch rotational speed to be a predetermined constant rotational speed lower than the rotational speed of the engine during creep running. .
By preventing the clutch rotational speed from being increased beyond the predetermined rotational speed, the half-clutch state is maintained, clutch torque (sliding torque) continues to be generated, and it is possible to avoid the feeling of torque loss. Become.
Further, the clutch control means has a downhill determination means for determining a downhill during creep traveling, and controls the clutch so as to transmit a minute torque when the downhill determination means determines a downhill.
This is because, in the case of a downhill, the clutch rotational speed increases without performing half-clutch control, so the clutch rotational speed is not controlled to a predetermined constant rotational speed, and the clutch is transmitted to the extent that the clutch transmits a small torque. The stroke is controlled to enable a smooth transition to a fully engaged clutch.
With the clutch control device of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the clutch torque from being lost during creep running.

The normal automatic shift process control will be briefly described. The shift determination means 451 of the transmission ECU 41 refers to the

Next, creep running will be described.
It is assumed that the
The shift determination means 451 of the transmission ECU 41 detects the possibility of creep travel from the engine speed signal 119, the vehicle speed signal 107, the gear position signal 111, and the like input via the input /
In such a case, the shift determination means 451 activates the starting clutch control means 456 included in the clutch control means 455. The starting clutch control means 456 is a program stored in the
As shown in FIG. 3, in the state where the
As shown in FIG. 4, when the starting clutch control means 456 is activated, it is first determined whether the brake is off or on based on the brake pedal operation signal 115 input to the transmission ECU 41 via the input /
If the brake is on (NO in step 101), creep running is not started, and step 101 is repeated. If the brake is OFF (YES in step 101), the creep driving is started, conducted clutch rotational speed constant control (step 102), as shown in FIG. 3, after the time t 1, the clutch rotational speed The half-clutch state is feedback controlled so as to achieve the target rotational speed α. The target rotational speed α is a rotational speed that is smaller than the engine rotational speed, and is a value determined by the strength of the creep force of the vehicle through experiments or the like.
That is, based on the difference between the clutch rotational speed by the clutch rotational speed signal 109 input via the input /
Thus, when creep running is started, as shown in FIG. 3, the clutch rotational speed gradually reaches the target rotational speed α, and thereafter is kept constant at the target rotational speed α.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 3, the torque increases as the clutch rotational speed increases, and decreases slightly when the clutch rotational speed approaches the target rotational speed α, but is kept constant thereafter. The decrease in torque in the vicinity of the target rotational speed α is due to fluctuations in the feedback control of the clutch rotational speed. When the clutch rotational speed becomes equal to the engine rotational speed (clutch complete engagement) as shown in FIG. Compared to the torque reduction due to the reduction of the generated slip torque (friction coefficient × pressing force), it is very small, and there is almost no deterioration in feeling such as a feeling of torque loss.
As described above, the clutch is not completely connected by performing constant speed control so that the clutch rotational speed becomes the target rotational speed α lower than the engine rotational speed. Thus, it is possible to suppress the feeling of torque loss caused by the absence of slip torque.
Further, the start clutch control means 456 of the present embodiment determines whether or not there is a downhill after the start of creep travel, performs clutch control on the downhill, and until the accelerator is depressed and the clutch is completely connected. Control is performed (steps 103 to 111).
After the clutch rotational speed constant control is performed (step 102), downhill determination processing is performed (step 103).
As shown in FIG. 5, first, it is determined whether or not the clutch is disengaged by a predetermined amount γ or more from the minute torque transmission point (step 201). The minute torque transmission point is a stroke position of the wet clutch 31 at which the clutch rotational speed signal 109 becomes a predetermined minute rotational speed on a flat road, and the predetermined amount γ is determined in advance by an experiment or the like. In step 201, a determination is made based on the clutch stroke position, which is known from the value of the clutch control solenoid valve signal 103.
If it is not on the cut side by a predetermined amount γ or more (NO in step 201), it is determined that the vehicle is not downhill (step 204), and the downhill determination process is terminated.
If it is on the cut side over a predetermined amount γ (YES in step 201), it is determined whether or not the state continues for a predetermined time (step 202). The predetermined time is determined in advance by experiments. If the clutch does not continue for more than γ beyond the minute torque transmission point for a predetermined time (NO in step 202), it is determined that the clutch is not downhill (step 204), and the downhill determination process is terminated. On the other hand, when the state on the cut side over γ continues for a predetermined time or longer (YES in step 202), it is determined that the vehicle is downhill (step 203), and the downhill determination process is terminated.
Downhill determination is performed by the above-described downhill determination processing (step 104). In the case of a downhill (YES in step 104), a signal is sent to the clutch control solenoid valve 33 so as to transmit a minute torque to the clutch (step 105). This is to control the clutch stroke so as to generate a very small torque to the extent that the clutch starts torque transmission in order to improve the response when shifting to the clutch connection.
After instructing the minute torque transmission (step 105), it is determined whether or not the accelerator is on with reference to the accelerator opening signal 117 input via the input / output interface 417 (step 106). If the accelerator is off (NO in step 106), the process returns to the downhill determination process (step 103). That is, the minute torque transmission of the clutch is continued until the accelerator is depressed on the downhill.
When the accelerator is depressed (ON, YES at step 106), the clutch control solenoid valve 33 is instructed to gradually engage the clutch so that the clutch is gradually engaged (step 109). The clutch is kept loosely engaged until the difference becomes smaller than the predetermined value β (
On the other hand, when it is determined in the downhill determination process (step 103) that the vehicle is not downhill (NO in step 104), the accelerator opening / closing signal 117 is used to determine whether the accelerator is on or off (step 107). If it is turned on (YES at step 107), the process from the slow engagement of the clutch to the complete engagement of the clutch (steps 109 to 111) is executed, and the starting clutch control process is terminated.
If the accelerator is off in step 107, the difference between the engine speed and the clutch speed is compared with a predetermined value β (step 108), and if the difference is smaller than β (YES in step 108). Then, the complete clutch engagement process (step 111) is executed, and the starting clutch control process is terminated.
If the difference is equal to or greater than β in step 108 (NO in step 108), the process returns to the downhill determination process (step 103) and the start clutch control process (steps 103 to 111) is continued.
When creep travel is started by the above processing, the clutch rotational speed is maintained at a target rotational speed lower than the engine rotational speed until the accelerator is depressed, and in the case of creep traveling downhill. By instructing the clutch to transmit a minute torque, it is possible to prevent a feeling of torque loss when the clutch is fully engaged.
