(4)どのドラム缶にも適用できない、また使用済みのドラム缶は変形しているのが多いのでその対応がしにくい。
(5)ドラム缶の内容が容易に観察できない。

上記のそれぞれの課題に対しての手段は下記となる。

JISで規定された天板または天蓋を活用し、また注入口および空気孔のためのフランジを活用したジョイントを準備するだけでよいので安価なものが提供出来る。天板の破損においてもジョイントの交換だけですむ。
(2)
もともと密閉容器であるドラム缶の栓を活用することにより簡便に密閉性を保つことが出来る。また外周部に帯状のシールベルトを設けることにより、多少歪んだドラム缶でも対応出来る。
(3)
内外圧に対しても密封性を保たせる構造により、掃除機の排気を利用してドラム缶内の流体を缶外に取り出すことも出来る。
(4)
JISで決められたフランジを使うので密閉式のドラム缶でもそのまま使える。断面がU字の伸縮自在材料をシールベルトとしてドラム缶縁に取り付けることにより変形があっても問題がない。
(5)
フランジつきの透明体で出来た観測窓により、内圧を保ちながら内部を観察出来る。
