Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine chest which helps prevent a person from forgetting to take medicine to be administered on a regular basis. <P>SOLUTION: This medicine chest comprises: a box 1 divided into three medicine accommodating sections 4a, 4b, and 4c; two inner lids 2 each having a projection 5; and an outer lid 3 having three through holes 6 corresponding to the projections 5. The top surface of the outer lid 3 is labeled with "morning", "day", and "night" marks specifying their respective through holes 6, while the rear side of the outer lid 3 is provided with stickers indicating kinds and amounts of medicines to be taken in the morning, daytime, and nighttime respectively. Prescribed medicines in all to be taken for a fixed period are put in the medicine accommodating sections 4a, 4b, and 4c. Before taking the medicine, one or two of the inner lids 2 are slid sideways to open the medicine accommodating section 4a, 4b, or 4c. After taking it out, the outer lid 3 is closed without moving the inner lids 2.
