Abstract
Description
a)基地局12からの要求送信電力の信号のため、利得を前のベース状態から+12.5dB変化させる必要があり、
b)単数または複数のアナログ増幅器4は10dB、12dB,14dB、16dB単位でのみ制御され、かつ
c)ベース状態で、デジタル増幅器8はデジタル・アナログ変換器のダイナミック・レンジの最大利得で完全に駆動されているので、デジタル増幅器8は減衰することしかできない、
と想定しよう。
Av[kv]としよう。ここでkv∈[1,...,nv],v∈[1,...,N]であり、かつkvはv番目の増幅器の利得決定パラメータである。
D[k]としよう。ここでk∈[1,...,m]であり、かつkはデジタル利得の利得決定パラメータである。
G(1)=D[k(1)]・ΠAv[kv (1)]
となる。これから実際に得られる出力電力は、未校正電力センサ9によって、z(t)から測定される。得られるものはM(1)・G(1)の測定利得である。ここでM(1)は電力送信係数である。

Claims (9)
- 特にUMTS(ユニバーサル移動体通信システム)システム用の移動体通信装置の送信電力を設定する方法であって、
前記移動体通信装置に属するデータ・ソースからのデジタル信号は制御可能なデジタル増幅器によって最初に第1利得係数だけ増幅/減衰され、
次いで前記増幅/減衰されたデジタル信号はアナログ信号に変換され、かつ搬送周波数に変調され、
前記搬送周波数の前記アナログ信号は少なくとも1つの制御可能なアナログ増幅器で第2利得係数だけ増幅され、
前記デジタル利得および前記アナログ利得は、そのときの送信電力の測定値である信号と、基地局からのそのときの送信電力の所要値である信号との間の差の関数として、それらが一緒に所要送信電力を生成するように、相互に整合される、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記デジタル利得はそれがそのときに要求された総利得の一部分に対してだけ関与するように制御され、前記アナログ利得はそれが総利得の残りの部分に対して関与するように制御されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記デジタル利得は、そのときに適用される利得について、それがアナログ・デジタル変換器を可能な限り大きい値だけ最大可能な程度まで変調させるように、制御されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記アナログ利得は歩進的に制御されることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記デジタル利得は2段階で適用され、信号レベルの厳密な設定は第1段階では微細な刻みの係数によって行なわれ、第2段階では信号レベルは低減された信号対雑音比でより粗い刻みの係数により設定されることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 単数/複数のアナログ増幅器に対して自己校正プロセスが実行され、同一総利得を生成するデジタルおよびアナログ利得係数は変動され、結果的に得られるパラメータは格納されてアナログ利得係数に割り当てられることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 特にUMTA用の移動体通信装置の送信電力を設定するための装置であって、
前記移動体通信装置に属するデータ・ソースからのデジタル信号のために制御可能なデジタル増幅器が設けられ、
前記デジタル増幅器はD/A変換器およびその下流に接続された周波数変調器を有し、
周波数変調されたアナログ信号を増幅するために1つまたは複数のアナログ増幅器が設けられ、
制御回路は、所要送信電力の信号からの送信電力の測定値を与える信号の偏差の関数として、前記デジタル増幅器および前記単数/複数のアナログ増幅器を所要送信電力に制御することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記デジタル増幅器は、乗算器を備えた第1増幅器段およびシャフトユニットを備えた第2増幅器段を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 未校正電力センサは大まかに送信電力を検出し、それを測定値として前記制御回路に利用させることを特徴とする、請求項7または8に記載の装置。
