Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a motor provided with cooling means in a rotor and a turbocharger using the same.
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, a turbocharger is known in which a turbine is driven by exhaust energy and a supercharger is pumped to an engine by a pneumatic operation of a compressor provided on the turbine shaft. A motor is attached to such a turbocharger, and the motor is electrically driven at low rotation and high load to energize the compressor and increase the supercharging operation according to the operating state of the engine. There is known a technique for recovering exhaust energy having a sufficient margin as electric power and using it as a battery charging power source.
As the rotor of the motor, there is known a structure in which a permanent magnet is held by a holding member disposed on the outer peripheral portion of a shaft so that the permanent magnet is not damaged even by a large centrifugal force during high-speed rotation. The rotor is provided with cooling means to prevent the magnetic force from being reduced due to the thermal demagnetization of the permanent magnet due to the exhaust gas from the turbocharger and the iron loss due to high-speed rotation, and the strength reduction due to high temperature fatigue of the holding member This prevents the rotor from being damaged.
As such cooling means, techniques of Patent Documents 1 to 3 are known. That is, Patent Document 1 is a technique for cooling the shaft, the bearing, and the rotor by providing a cooling oil passage inside the shaft. However, in this technique, rigidity is reduced in order to make a hole in the shaft, If the outer diameter of the shaft is increased in order to increase the rigidity, the weight increases, and there is a problem that the primary resonance point is lowered, vibration, and abnormal noise increase. Moreover, although patent document 2 is a technique which forcibly supplies a refrigerant | coolant to the space provided in the inside of a rotor, the apparatus which supplies a refrigerant | coolant forcibly is needed, and there exists a problem that a cost increases. Further, Patent Document 3 is a technique for cooling a rotor with an oil jet, but there is a problem that a seal structure for preventing external leakage of refrigerant such as a pump and a tank for supplying refrigerant is required.
An object of the present invention is to provide a motor having a simple structure and excellent cooling efficiency for cooling the rotor, and a turbocharger using the motor, in view of solving the problems of the conventional techniques.
The present invention made to solve the above problems
A rotor having a shaft, a permanent magnet disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the shaft, and a holding member that surrounds the outer peripheral side of the permanent magnet and holds the permanent magnet on the shaft against centrifugal force; A motor including a stator that acts on a rotating magnetic field that rotates the rotor,
A cooling passage provided in the holding member and between the shaft and the permanent magnet; an inlet on one of the outer peripheral portions of the holding member; and an outer space of the holding member and the cooling passage. An inflow passage to be connected, and an outflow passage having an outflow port on the other outer peripheral portion of the holding member and connecting the cooling passage and the outer peripheral space of the holding member, and accompanying the rotation of the rotor A cooling means for cooling the permanent magnet by flowing a refrigerant gas through the inflow passage, the cooling passage, and the outflow passage,
The outlet is provided at a position where the radius of rotation from the shaft is larger than that of the inlet and at which the negative pressure increases as the shaft rotates.
The motor according to the present invention holds the permanent magnet in a holding member provided on the outer periphery of the rotor. The holding member is a member for holding the permanent magnet so that the permanent magnet that receives a large centrifugal force is not damaged. To rotate the motor, the rotor is rotated by the rotating magnetic field of the stator based on the magnetic force action with the permanent magnet.
The holding member is provided with a cooling means for cooling the permanent magnet and its peripheral portion. The cooling means includes a cooling passage, an inflow passage, and an outflow passage, and the outlet of the outflow passage is provided at a position where the radius of rotation from the shaft is larger than that of the inflow passage. For this reason, when the rotor rotates, the peripheral speed of the periphery of the outlet of the outflow passage becomes larger than the peripheral speed of the inlet of the inflow passage, and the periphery of the outlet of the outflow passage is around the inlet by Bernoulli's theorem. A larger negative pressure state occurs. In such a pressure distribution state, an air flow is generated from the inflow passage through the cooling passage through the outflow passage having a low atmospheric pressure, and this air flow cools the permanent magnet in the cooling passage.
Since the cooling action by such a cooling means is an air flow generated with the rotation of the rotor, the motor does not require a cooling device such as a cooling pump, and a simple configuration is sufficient. In addition, as the rotational speed of the rotor increases, the pressure difference between the outflow port and the inflow port increases, and the flow velocity of the airflow also increases, so that efficient cooling can be performed.
As a preferable aspect of the present invention, the cooling passage includes an inner diameter surface side passage provided on the inner diameter surface side of the permanent magnet and a first side provided on one side surface of the permanent magnet and connected to the inflow passage. A structure provided with a passage and a second side passage connected to the outflow passage provided on the other side surface of the permanent magnet can be employed. With this configuration, the side surface of the permanent magnet is cooled by the refrigerant gas flowing through the first side passage and the second side passage, so that the area to be cooled increases and the cooling efficiency is high.
As another preferred aspect of the present invention, the inflow passage and the outflow passage are disposed outside the axial center of the rotor so as to apply a centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the rotor to the refrigerant gas in the inflow passage and the outflow passage. It is possible to adopt a configuration in which they are inclined toward the radial side. With this configuration, the refrigerant gas in the inflow passage and the outflow passage is subjected to centrifugal force applied to the refrigerant gas accompanying the rotation of the rotor, and the flow velocity is increased. Therefore, the refrigerant gas quickly flows into the cooling passage from the inflow passage. Since it quickly flows out to the outer space through the outflow passage, the cooling efficiency can be further enhanced.

Further, the
(3) Operation of
Thus, when the

(4) -2 The
