Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a noise suppression device and a noise suppression method for suppressing noise generated from an electrical product such as a personal computer.
In offices, various electric products such as computers, peripheral devices, facsimile machines and copying machines are used. In addition, in addition to these electrical products, electrical products such as refrigerators are also used at home. Many of these electric products generate noise due to electric components such as a motor arranged inside. For example, the computer uses components that generate high heat, such as a CPU (central processing unit), and a fan for cooling the computer is used. This causes noise. In recent years when low-noise environments in offices or homes are important, such noise is strongly desired to be kept as low as possible. Such a demand is strong particularly when various electric products are used in a quiet environment.
With such a demand as a background, it has been proposed as a first proposal to mute by radiating a sound having an opposite phase to the noise of a fan or the like used in an electric product (see, for example, Patent Document 1). .
FIG. 7 shows the configuration of the noise suppression apparatus according to the first proposal. In the
In this first proposal, the noise of the
FIG. 8 shows the configuration of the noise suppression device of the second proposal. A
In the second proposal, the noise reduction is realized at the point P 2 where the
Among the first to third proposals described above, in the first and second proposals, an audible sound for canceling this noise is directed toward the outside of the electrical product from which the noise of the electrical component such as a fan is output. Output from the speaker. The phase of the canceling sound output from the loudspeaker is opposite to that of the noise, and the state in which the noise is reduced or the noise is reduced most at the points P 1 and P 2 having the same amplitude is realized. In the third proposal, in order to efficiently reduce low-frequency noise, an additional electric component itself in which noise such as a motor is a problem is used as the
In these first to third proposals, the noise generated from the apparatus is output to the outside in the same manner as a signal component that cancels the noise, thereby reducing or reducing the noise. Therefore, the effect of noise reduction or reduction varies depending on the location. In the third proposal, since the low frequency noise is handled, the directivity of the sound is small, and the sound reduction effect can be obtained in a relatively wide range. However, for this purpose, if there are several large motors that are the sources of noise, it is necessary to further provide the same large motors as the number corresponding to the noise sources, and the entire device for suppressing noise. However, there is a problem that not only the size of the battery is greatly increased, but also the cost required for suppressing noise increases.
In order to reduce the vibration that is the basis of noise, an elastic member such as rubber or sponge is also sandwiched between a vibration source and a fixing member that fixes the vibration source. However, this attenuates the vibration, but does not completely eliminate the vibration of the fixing member. Therefore, the use of such an elastic member does not sufficiently suppress the generation of noise.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a noise suppression device and a noise suppression method for reducing noise itself generated by an electric product having a noise source inside.
Before the specific description of the claimed invention is made, the principle of the present invention will be explained.
FIG. 2 illustrates the principle of the present invention. Attention is paid to the
In the present invention, when the
As described in the claims, in the present invention, (a) a fixing member to which a vibration generation source is fixed, and (b) the vibration generating source fixed to the fixing member in the vicinity of the fixed position of the vibration generation source. The noise suppression device is provided with vibration means for performing vibration in the opposite phase to the vibration of the fixing member.
That is, according to the present invention, by fixing the vibration generating source to the fixing member, the case where no noise is generated and noisy sound is generated unless any measures are taken. When the vibration generated by the vibration generating source in the fixing member is in the audio frequency band, the fixing member may be in a state like a cone paper of a speaker and generate noise. Further, even in a band other than the audio frequency, for example, individual components constituting the fixing member may collide intermittently in the gap at the connection location due to vibration, and noise noise may be generated. In the present invention, the vibration generating source is provided by suppressing the
In the present invention, (b) a vibration detecting step for detecting vibrations in a band of at least the audio frequency among vibrations generated by the vibration generating source at a predetermined position of the member to which the vibration generating source is fixed; The noise suppression method includes an anti-phase vibration generation step that generates an anti-phase vibration in the vicinity of a predetermined position of the member with respect to the vibration detected in the vibration detection step.
That is, according to the present invention, vibrations in the band of at least the audio frequency among the vibrations generated by the vibration generation source are detected at a predetermined position of the member to which the vibration generation source is fixed, and vibrations having a phase opposite to the detected vibration are detected. It is generated near a predetermined position of the member. As a result, even when the vibration that causes noise fluctuates, it is possible to reduce this by using sequential anti-phase vibration.
As described above, according to the present invention, when a vibration source is present in an electrical product, vibrations having a phase opposite to that of the vibration source are applied to a fixing member that fixes the vibration source. It can be suppressed by the vibration source itself inside the electrical product. As a result, the noise of the electrical product itself can be reduced.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.
FIG. 1 shows a main part of a printer apparatus as an electric product using a noise suppression apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. The
On the same surface of the mounting
Noise generated by the
FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining a mechanism for suppressing noise in the printer apparatus. This will be described with reference to FIG. The
In the
In this embodiment, the generation of the
Specifically, when the vibration occurs almost constant regardless of the passage of time, the
By the way, as the position where the
From this point of view, it is effective to attach the
FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining the principle of canceling the original vibration by the antiphase vibration. The horizontal direction represents the time axis, and the vertical direction represents the displacement of the element mounting position p with respect to the position when the mounting
As described above, in this embodiment, the
In addition, if the mounting
As another method for suppressing the
In addition, as a measure for reducing the propagation of vibration, it may be considered that a vibration absorbing material such as rubber or sponge is attached to the mounting
In the present embodiment, since vibration is actively suppressed as described above, vibration of the apparatus
Modification of the invention>
When the vibration state to be suppressed hardly changes with time, the vibration state to be generated in the vibration element is stored as described in the embodiment, and the vibration source is driven. This may be realized. However, if the vibration state changes with time, or if the vibration subject to suppression is different from that at the time of manufacture due to secular change, there is a risk that noise noise cannot be effectively suppressed. . Therefore, as a modified example of the invention, an operation suppressing device in which a vibration sensor for detecting a vibration state is always attached and the detection result is fed back to the vibration element will be described.
FIG. 5 shows a main part of a personal computer as an electric product using a noise suppression device according to a modification of the present invention. The
As for the noise generated by the cooling
In order to suppress the generation of the

The analog-to-digital
The phase
The
As described above, according to this modification, the vibration state of the
