Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electrical device assembly in which a plurality of electrical devices having electrical device elements for storing and outputting electrical energy, such as batteries and capacitors (capacitors), are assembled and arranged in a storage box. .
In recent years, for example, a lightweight and small battery has been developed as a power source for driving a motor of an electric vehicle. An example of this type of battery will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the battery pack disclosed in Patent Document 1.
As shown in FIG. 12, the battery pack 120 includes a plurality of battery cells 110 (electric devices) and a storage box 122 for storing them. Each battery cell 110 is also called a thin battery, and is configured to output a predetermined electromotive force. As shown in FIG. 13, the storage box 122 includes a box-shaped case 124 in which one opening 124a is formed, and a flat lid 125 (see FIG. 12). When the lid 125 is attached to the opening 124a of the case 124, the internal space (the internal space of the storage box 122) is hermetically sealed. In the configuration of FIG. 12, a plurality of battery cells 110 are filled in the sealed space. 126 is stored together. Further, the battery cells 110 are electrically connected to each other so as to be in series, whereby an electromotive force corresponding to the number of the battery cells 110 is output to the outside via the
However, in order to assemble the battery pack 120 shown in FIG. 12, it is necessary to insert a stack of a plurality of battery cells 110 from the opening 124a of the case 124. The work of loading objects is relatively difficult. That is, when this process is performed by an operator, for example, the operator moves the battery cell 110 in a stacked state to the back of the case 124 while holding the battery cell 110 with both hands, and after placing the battery cell 110 in a predetermined position, Must be removed from the case 124. Such an operation is complicated, and furthermore, it is difficult to reduce the size of the case 124 because a space for removing the hand is required between the battery cell 110 and the inner surface of the case 124. Further, such a problem can occur in the same manner even when the battery cell 110 is inserted into the case 124 using a robot or the like.
Further, since the battery cell 110 generates heat during use, it is important to dissipate the battery cell 110 in order to maintain good battery characteristics. However, the box-shaped case 124 is not preferable from the viewpoint of heat dissipation of the battery cell 110 because heat is trapped inside the box-shaped case 124.
On the other hand, since the
As described above, the battery cells 110 and 210, which are thin batteries, have been described as an example. However, the above problem is that an electric device in which an electric device composed of a capacitor or the like is stored in a storage box instead of the battery cell. It is a problem that can also occur in the aggregate. That is, in such an electric device assembly, it is important to make it easy to assemble, to give the storage box sufficient rigidity, and to take heat dissipation into consideration.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to produce an electrical device assembly arranged in a storage box in a state where a plurality of electrical devices are gathered, with good workability, ensuring sufficient rigidity of the storage box and storing the electrical device. An object of the present invention is to provide an electric device assembly capable of cooling the electric device in a box well.
In order to achieve the above object, an electrical device assembly according to the present invention is an electrical device assembly disposed in a storage box in a state where a plurality of electrical devices each having sheet-like electrode tabs drawn out from both sides of an outer peripheral portion are assembled. The storage box includes a case having a notch portion cut from the opening side on each of two opposing side surfaces of the box-shaped structure having one opening, and the opening A lid to be attached, a plurality of support bars that connect the side members located between the notches by being attached to the side surface, and disposed between the side surface and the support bar. A side plate for closing the notch, and a heat dissipating slip communicating with each of the ventilation channels formed between the adjacent electrical devices on the upper and lower surfaces of the case. The side plate is formed with a plurality of slits for extending the electrode tabs outward, and the support bar is made of a conductive material, and the electrode tab of one of the electric devices and the other of the electric tabs. The electrode tab of the device is electrically connected to both of the electrode tabs so as to be sandwiched between the side plates.
According to the electrical device assembly of the present invention configured as described above, since the cutout portion is formed on the side surface of the case, the manufacturing process of inserting a plurality of electrical devices into the case is performed. It will be a good thing. Further, even if the notch portion is provided on the side surface of the case as described above, since the support bar is attached to the side surface as a reinforcing member, the rigidity of the case, that is, the rigidity of the storage box is sufficiently ensured. Furthermore, since the support bar made of a conductive material is electrically connected to each electrode tab, not just as a reinforcing member, it can also be used as a terminal for taking out the voltage of the electric device. The storage box is in a state where the inside is substantially sealed by attaching the side plate, but the upper and lower surfaces of the case are formed with slits that communicate with the ventilation flow path between the electrical devices, so it is used for heat dissipation. Thus, the desired air flow is formed without leaking from the side surface, and thus the heat of the electric device is efficiently released.
In the electric device assembly according to the present invention, the case has a plurality of grooves for arranging the support bars on each of the side surfaces, and the side plate engages with the grooves of the case. You may have an engagement groove. Each support bar may have a U-shaped cross section, and in that case, a flange portion may be formed near the center of the member.
Furthermore, another electrical device assembly of the present invention is an electrical device assembly disposed in a storage box in a state where a plurality of electrical devices each having sheet-like electrode tabs drawn from both sides of the outer peripheral portion are assembled. The storage box is attached to the opening and a case having a notch cut from the opening side on each of two opposing side surfaces of the box-like structure having one opening. A plurality of support bars that connect the side members located between the notches, and are disposed between the side faces and the support bars by being attached to the lid and the side surface. A side plate that closes the notch, and upper and lower surfaces of the case are provided with heat radiation slits that communicate with each of the ventilation channels formed between the adjacent electrical devices. The side plate is formed with a plurality of slits for extending the electrode tabs outward, the support bar is made of an insulating material, and the electrode tabs of one of the electric devices and the electric tabs of the other electric device are formed. The overlapping portion with the electrode tab is sandwiched between the side plate. That is, in the configuration in which the tip sides of the electrode tabs are overlapped with each other, the support bar may be made of a conductive material. In this case, a fuse may be attached to the support bar.
As described above, according to the electric device assembly of the present invention, since the notch portion is formed in the case side wall, it is easy to insert a plurality of electric devices into the case, so that it can be manufactured with good workability. It will be possible. In addition, since the support bar is attached as a reinforcing member to the side surface where the notch is formed, the rigidity of the storage box is sufficiently secured. In addition, the side plate closes the notch, and the heat dissipation passage is provided, so that the heat dissipation of the electric device can be performed satisfactorily.
Hereinafter, embodiments of an electric device assembly according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings, taking a battery pack as an example. FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view showing the configuration of the battery pack of the present embodiment. FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a completed state of the battery pack of the present embodiment.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the battery pack 50 includes a plurality of (for example, twelve)
As shown in FIG. 3, the
A
The
In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, in this embodiment, the some
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
Specifically, the
The
The
The size of the internal space of the
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2 again, the

It should be noted that such fixing through holes are not limited to both ends, and some other through holes may be formed as necessary. Further, a through hole for fixing the
The
Next, a method for assembling the battery pack 50 of this embodiment will be described. It should be noted that the assembling method and the assembling order described below are merely examples, and are not intended to limit the present invention.
First, a
Next, the 12
Here, since the
Next, when the plurality of
Next, the
After the
In order to improve the adhesion between the
Further, for example, if water or the like enters the contact surface between the
Further, as necessary, an insulating sheet material 65 may be attached to the
In addition, in the battery pack 50 of this embodiment, it becomes an electrical circuit structure as shown in FIG. That is, a plurality of
According to the battery pack 50 of the present embodiment as described above, the cutout portion 36 (see FIGS. 4 and 8) is formed on the side surface of the
The
Even if the battery pack 50 is configured without blocking the
As described above, the
Since the battery pack is mounted and used in an automobile or the like, it is desirable that the battery pack is configured to have high rigidity, that is, configured to reduce the amount of deflection when receiving a torsional moment. In the configuration of FIG. 9 (b), each
As mentioned above, although this embodiment was described with reference to FIGS. 1-9, this invention is not limited to them, and can be changed variously.
For example, as shown in FIG. 10, in the case where the tip ends of the
By disposing the
The support bar may be as shown in FIG. The
As shown in FIG. 11A, the
In the above embodiment, the
