Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a mobile communication system, and more particularly to a mobile communication system that collects vehicle position information using GPS.
Along with the development of wireless communication technology, the positioning technology using radio waves has greatly developed, and today, GPS (Global Positioning System) positioning system using satellites obtains position information with an accuracy of about 10 m with a GPS receiver alone. I can do things. This GPS positioning system is mainly used for car navigation, navigation of a ship / aircraft or surveying. In addition, with recent development of mobile communication systems, mobile data communication for a wide area can be easily performed. Such a GPS positioning system and a mobile communication system have been merged, and mobile location management systems and character transmission systems have been put to practical use. For example, improved delivery efficiency for home delivery vehicles and taxis can be improved through public and commercial radio. It is used for the purpose.
Thus, as a method for collecting position information of a mobile body (hereinafter referred to as a mobile station) such as a delivery vehicle or a taxi, a method such as an all-car polling method (see, for example, Patent Document 1) or an arbitrary calling method. There is. Hereinafter, these collection methods will be described. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of the mobile communication system. 3, reference numerals 301-1, 301-2, 301-3,... Are base stations, and these base stations are connected to the
In such a mobile communication system, for example, a taxi dispatch system, it is necessary for the base station to always keep track of vehicle movement information such as the position of a moving mobile station, empty / actual vehicle, and whether there is an abnormality. A communication method called a polling method is widely used.
This all-car polling system will be described with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 4, the vehicle-mounted device refers to a wireless device mounted on each mobile station, and in the following description, the vehicle-mounted device will be described as vehicle-mounted devices 302-1, 302-2,. In addition, when naming a vehicle equipment generically, it calls the
In FIG. 4, when the polling interval is 60 seconds, for example, 1 frame f is 40 ms, and the transmission / reception offset OS is 20 ms, the polling interval for obtaining the position information of all vehicles is 60 seconds. The collection of the dynamic information from the
More specifically, when collecting the position information of the in-
Thus, in this all-car polling system, when each in-
Furthermore, in this mobile communication system, a voice call V is performed as shown in FIG. 4 using a downlink signal from the base station 301-1 to the vehicle-mounted
As another method, there is a method called an arbitrary call method in order to collect dynamic information including position information of the in-
For example, the dynamic information including the positional information S1 of the in-vehicle device 302-1 can be received by the base station 301-1, but the dynamic information including the positional information S2 of the in-vehicle device 302-2 and the positional information S3 of the in-vehicle device 302-3. In the dynamic information including, uplink signals collide with each other and cannot be transmitted to the base station 301-1. Similarly, the dynamic information including the position information S20 of the in-vehicle device 302-20 and the dynamic information including the position information S60 of the in-vehicle device 302-60 collide with each other in uplink signals and cannot be transmitted to the base station 301-1. There's a problem. In the arbitrary calling method, since the polling signal P1 is not transmitted as in the all-car polling method, the voice call from the base station 301-1 to the in-
As described above, in the all-car polling method, if the in-vehicle device cannot receive the polling signal transmitted from the base station to each in-vehicle device, the dynamic information is not updated, and the in-vehicle device does not receive service from the base station. I can't accept it. In addition, since the polling is performed even during a voice call, the voice is interrupted. Moreover, in the arbitrary call system, a collision occurs between a plurality of in-vehicle devices at the time of collecting dynamic information from the in-vehicle device, and the base station cannot collect the dynamic information from each in-vehicle device.
Also, in a digital mobile communication system (for example, see Patent Document 2), a system that receives time reference information from a GPS receiver or a standard radio wave receiver and takes synchronization, or a TDM synchronization system between mobile communication base stations (for example, Patent Document) 3)), there is a technique using GPS time.
As described above, in the all-car polling system, when the in-vehicle device cannot receive the polling signal transmitted from the base station to each in-vehicle device, the dynamic information is not updated and the service from the base station cannot be received. In addition, since the polling is performed even during a voice call, the voice is interrupted. Moreover, in the arbitrary call system, a collision occurs between a plurality of in-vehicle devices at the time of collecting dynamic information from the in-vehicle devices, and the dynamic information cannot be collected.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a mobile communication system in which no collision occurs when collecting dynamic information from a plurality of in-vehicle devices.

In the mobile communication system of the present invention, the table stored in the storage unit of the in-vehicle wireless device is a table that defines a time for transmitting the dynamic information of one mobile station. The times determined in (1) are different in each table of the plurality of mobile stations.
In the mobile communication system of the present invention, the time information detector is configured to detect time information from a GPS satellite or standard time information.

The base station radio apparatus has a function of changing the contents of the table stored in the storage unit of the base station radio apparatus, and the base station radio apparatus has the changed table. The table stored in the storage unit of the in-vehicle wireless device is rewritten based on the contents of
As described above, according to the present invention, each vehicle-mounted device in the service area can receive the service fairly, and the dynamic information from the vehicle-mounted device can also be collected without exception. In addition, the voice call between the base station and the in-vehicle device is not interrupted. Furthermore, since dynamic information from a plurality of in-vehicle devices does not collide when collecting dynamic information, a highly reliable mobile communication system can be realized.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 shows a base station radio apparatus and an in-vehicle radio apparatus used in a mobile communication system of the present invention, for example, an automobile AVM (Automatic Vehicle Monitoring) system. FIG. 1A is a block diagram of a schematic configuration of a base station radio used in the present invention, and FIG. 1B is a block diagram of a schematic configuration of an in-vehicle radio device used in the present invention. Note that the configuration of the mobile communication system of the present invention is the same as that shown in FIG. 3, the

Next, this operation will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining an operation when collecting dynamic information including position information from each
First, the
For example, when a power source (not shown) is turned on, the in-vehicle device wireless device 110 receives GPS time information from the
The
Here, the setting timing of the data transmission slot of the own station will be described. As described above, the
The data transmission request
Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Table 2. Table 2 is for setting the time at which each vehicle-mounted device transmits dynamic information including position information.
In the same manner, the

Further, the time table shown in Table 1 above is stored in the
As described above, for example, when the vehicle-mounted device is turned on, the accurate time is acquired from the
Further, in the above embodiment, the method of controlling the time information of the
As described above, since the dynamic information transmission start time of each in-vehicle device is set in advance, there is no collision of uplink signals, and there is no polling signal from the base station, so the in-vehicle device cannot receive the polling signal. It is possible to eliminate the non-update of the dynamic information due to the voice, and it is possible to eliminate the voice interruption due to the polling signal transmission during the voice call.
Although the present invention has been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments of the mobile communication system described herein, and can be widely applied to mobile communication systems other than those described above.
