Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、(i)少なくとも1種の高分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;(ii)式I:A−B(I)(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の少なくとも1種の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成することを含み、低分子量ポリマー成分が疎水性空隙を有する高分子有機化合物の存在下で形成される、少なくとも2種のポリマー成分を有する水性分散液を製造する方法に関する。

Description
(i)少なくとも1種の高分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;さらに
(ii)式I:
A−B (I)
(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の少なくとも1種の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成することを含み、低分子量ポリマー成分が疎水性空隙を有する高分子有機化合物の存在下で形成される方法が提供される。
(i)少なくとも1種の第一モノマーを重合させて、高分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;さらに
(ii)(a)少なくとも1種の第二モノマー;
(b)疎水性空隙を有する少なくとも1種の高分子有機化合物;および
(c)低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分;
を(i)の生成物に添加し、
ここで(a)、(b)および(c)は相互作用して、式I:
A−B (I)
(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成することを含み;
少なくとも1種の第一モノマーおよび少なくとも1種の第二モノマーが同一であっても異なっていてもよい、方法が提供される。
(i)(a)少なくとも1種の第一モノマー;
(b)疎水性空隙を有する少なくとも1種の高分子有機化合物;および
(c)低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分
を組み合わせ、ここで(a)、(b)および(c)は相互作用して、式I:

(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;
(ii)少なくとも1種の第二モノマーを(i)の生成物に添加し;さらに
(iii)少なくとも1種の第二モノマーを重合させて高分子量ポリマー成分を形成すること;を含み、少なくとも1種の第一モノマーおよび少なくとも1種の第二モノマーが同一であっても異なっていてもよい、方法が提供される。
メチル−β−シクロデキストリンの配合
メチル−β−シクロデキストリンなし
メチル−β−シクロデキストリン添加を省略する以外は、実施例1を繰り返した。
生成物の特徴
実施例1および実施例2の2つの生成物を特徴付け、固形分(重量%)、粒子サイズおよび分子量(どちらの実施例の生成物についても二峰性分布)を決定した。通常の重量測定技術を用いて固形分(重量%)を測定した。粒子サイズ分析は、Matec CHDF2000粒子サイズ分析器を用いて行った。分子量は、580〜7500000の範囲のピーク平均分子量を有するPolymer Laboratories(PS−1)から入手したポリスチレン標準を用いたSECにより測定した。Mark−Houwink定数を変換に適用した。これらの分析の結果を表2に示す。
Claims (10)
- (i)少なくとも1種の高分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;さらに
(ii)式I:
A−B (I)
(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)
の少なくとも1種の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成することを含み、
ここで、低分子量ポリマー成分は疎水性空隙を有する高分子有機化合物の存在下で形成される、少なくとも2種のポリマー成分を有する水性分散液を製造する方法。 - 低分子量成分が高分子成分内で形成される請求項1記載の方法。
- 連鎖移動剤成分が、メルカプタン、ポリメルカプタン、チオエステルおよびハロゲン化化合物およびその組み合わせからなる群から選択される請求項1記載の方法。
- 連鎖移動剤成分が、非常に低い水溶性を有する連鎖移動剤からなる群から選択される請求項1記載の方法。
- 連鎖移動剤成分がn−ドデシルメルカプタンである請求項1記載の方法。
- 連鎖移動剤成分が、置換、非置換および官能化(C16〜C24)アルキルメルカプタン;置換、非置換および官能化フェニルメルカプタン;ならびに置換、非置換および官能化(C14〜C24)アルキルメルカプトプロピオネートから選択される請求項1記載の方法。
- ポリマー鎖Bが100以下の重合度を示す請求項1記載の方法。
- 高分子量ポリマー成分のTgと低分子量ポリマー成分のTgの差が、別々にポリマー成分によって示されるTgについての差よりも小さい請求項1記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2種のポリマー成分を有する水性分散液を製造する方法であって:
(i)少なくとも1種の第一モノマーを重合させて、高分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;さらに
(ii)(a)少なくとも1種の第二モノマー;
(b)疎水性空隙を有する少なくとも1種の高分子有機化合物;および
(c)低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分;
を(i)の生成物に添加し、
ここで(a)、(b)および(c)は相互作用して、式I:
A−B (I)
(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成すること;を含み、

(i)(a)少なくとも1種の第一モノマー;
(b)疎水性空隙を有する少なくとも1種の高分子有機化合物;および
(c)低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分
を組み合わせ、ここで(a)、(b)および(c)は相互作用して、式I:
A−B (I)
(式中、Aは低水溶性を示す少なくとも1種の連鎖移動剤成分から誘導され、Bはポリマー鎖である)の低分子量ポリマー成分を形成し;
(ii)少なくとも1種の第二モノマーを(i)の生成物に添加し;さらに
(iii)少なくとも1種の第二モノマーを重合させて高分子量ポリマー成分を形成すること;を含み、
少なくとも1種の第一モノマーおよび少なくとも1種の第二モノマーが同一であっても異なっていてもよい、方法。
