The present invention relates to a scintillator panel, a radiation detection apparatus, a manufacturing method thereof, and a radiation imaging system used for medical diagnostic equipment, non-destructive inspection equipment, and the like, and more particularly to a scintillator panel, radiation detection equipment, and radiation used for X-ray photography. The present invention relates to an imaging system. In the present specification, description will be made assuming that the category of radiation includes electromagnetic waves such as X-rays and γ-rays.
Conventionally, an X-ray film system having a fluorescent screen having an X-ray phosphor layer provided therein and a double-side coating agent has been generally used for X-ray photography. However, recently, the image characteristics of a digital radiation detection apparatus having an X-ray phosphor layer and a two-dimensional photodetector are good, and since the data is digital data, the data is obtained by taking it into a networked computer system. Since there is an advantage that sharing of the digital radiation detection device has been achieved, research and development has been actively conducted on digital radiation detection devices, and various patent applications have been filed.
Among these digital radiation detection devices, as disclosed in
FIG. 8 shows a cross-sectional view of a conventional radiation detection apparatus. In FIG. 8, 101 is a glass substrate, 102 is a wiring part, 103 is a photoelectric conversion element part comprising a photosensor and TFT using amorphous silicon, 104 is an electrode extraction part (electrode pad part), 105 is silicon nitride or the like.
In the above radiation detection apparatus, it is known that an organic film such as polyimide is used as the second protective layer, which is a layer on which the phosphor layer is deposited. It is also known to use an inorganic film such as silicon nitride as the first protective layer used as a passivation film.
However, when defects are generated in the phosphor layer when the

A phosphor layer having a phosphor that converts radiation into light that can be sensed by the photoelectric conversion element, and is disposed between the sensor panel and the phosphor layer, and the fluorescence It has a peeling layer arranged so that a body layer may be formed directly.
The radiation detection apparatus according to the present invention includes a sensor panel having at least a photoelectric conversion unit having a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally on a substrate, and radiation arranged on a support member. A scintillator panel having at least a phosphor layer composed of a phosphor that converts the light into light that can be sensed by the photoelectric conversion element, and an adhesive for bonding the scintillator panel and the sensor panel, the scintillator The panel includes a release layer disposed between the support member and the phosphor layer and disposed so that the phosphor layer is directly formed.
In addition, the scintillator panel according to the present invention has at least a phosphor layer that is arranged on a support member and is formed of a phosphor that converts radiation into light that can be sensed by the photoelectric conversion element, and the support member and It has a peeling layer arranged between the phosphor layers and arranged so that the phosphor layers are directly formed.
According to the present invention, by forming the phosphor layer on the release layer, when a defect occurs in the phosphor layer, the phosphor layer can be removed together with the release layer from the sensor panel and the support member. The panel and the support member can be used again.
Further, according to the present invention, when a defect occurs in the phosphor layer, the phosphor layer can be removed together with the release layer from the sensor panel and the phosphor support substrate, so that the sensor panel can be removed when removing the phosphor layer. In addition, the phosphor does not remain attached to the support member. Therefore, if the release layer is formed again and the phosphor is deposited, the phosphor layer can be similarly deposited.
In addition, according to the present invention, when a defect occurs in the phosphor layer, the phosphor layer can be removed from the sensor panel together with the peeling layer, so that the phosphor layer is scattered when the phosphor layer is removed. It does not adhere to the electrode extraction part of the sensor panel, and the occurrence of wiring corrosion defects due to the phosphor layer adhering to the electrode extraction part can be suppressed.
In addition, according to the present invention, by forming the phosphor layer on the release layer, even if there is a pinhole defect in the second protective layer of the sensor panel, the sensor panel is blocked from the phosphor layer by the release layer. Therefore, the occurrence of corrosion defects in the sensor panel due to the phosphor component can be suppressed. Even if there is a pinhole defect in the reflective layer protective layer of the support member, the reflective layer of the support member is shielded from the phosphor layer by the release layer, so that the occurrence of corrosion defects in the reflective layer due to the phosphor component is suppressed. In addition, according to the present invention, the sensor panel and the scintillator panel can be reused, so that a low-cost and highly durable radiation detection apparatus can be obtained.

<First Embodiment>
The first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 1, the principal part structure of the radiation detection apparatus which concerns on the 1st Embodiment of this invention is shown. In the radiation detection apparatus shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, 101 is a glass substrate, 103 is a photoelectric conversion element portion corresponding to a pixel formed on a
When a defect is confirmed in the formed
As the first
As the

<Second Embodiment>
The second embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In FIG. 2, sectional drawing which shows the principal part of the radiation detection apparatus of the 2nd Embodiment of this invention is shown. In FIG. 4, sectional drawing containing the whole sensor panel of the radiation detection apparatus of the 2nd Embodiment of this invention is shown.
In the radiation detection apparatus shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4, 101 is a glass substrate, 103 is a photoelectric conversion element unit corresponding to a pixel formed on a
Further, the reflective layer
In such a
When defects are confirmed in the formed
In FIG. 4, the whole structure of the radiation detection apparatus which concerns on the 2nd Embodiment of this invention is shown. The phosphor
The
In the present invention, as a two-dimensional photodetector, a case where a photoelectric conversion element portion composed of a photosensor using amorphous silicon and a TFT is formed on a glass substrate has been described. However, a CCD, a CMOS sensor, or the like is arranged two-dimensionally. It is also possible to appropriately configure the radiation detection apparatus by using the semiconductor single crystal substrate on which the image pickup element is formed and disposing the base layer and the phosphor layer thereon.
This embodiment is an example of a direct vapor deposition type radiation detection apparatus shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, a
