Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a seismic isolation device.
The seismic isolation device protects structures by reducing the input acceleration of earthquakes, and various types of seismic isolation devices have been proposed. In particular, as a seismic isolation device for relatively light structures such as computer-related equipment, cultural assets, and medical facilities, a sliding bearing in two horizontal directions, which has a simple structure and is inexpensive, is frequently used.
An example of this type of seismic isolation device is disclosed in
The first guide rail and the second guide rail that are horizontally extended are attached between the lower structure and the upper structure of the structure so as to be orthogonal to each other, and are slid along the first guide rail. The first guide that moves and the second guide that slides along the second guide rail are fixedly connected to each other.
The relative horizontal movement of the upper structure of the structure relative to the lower structure utilizes sliding frictional forces acting between the first guide rail and the first guide and between the second guide rail and the second guide. Is attenuated.
In the case of seismic isolation of large structures, a plurality of seismic isolation devices are used side by side in the horizontal direction.
By the way, in what was shown by
As a result, there is a problem that the seismic isolation performance varies depending on the direction of vibration caused by the earthquake.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a seismic isolation device that can reduce fluctuations in frictional force due to the vibration direction of an earthquake and exhibit stable seismic isolation performance.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention employs the following means.
That is, the seismic isolation device according to the present invention includes an upper rail that is arranged to extend in a substantially horizontal direction below the seismic isolation object, an upper sliding block that slides along the upper rail, and the upper rail. A lower rail disposed in a direction intersecting with the lower portion and extending in a substantially horizontal direction, and a lower slide block that slides along the lower rail, the upper slide block and the lower slide block; In a seismic isolation device in which a plurality of seismic isolation members are connected via elastic members,
The extending direction of the upper rail or the lower rail in at least one of the seismic isolation members is installed at an angle in the horizontal plane with respect to the upper rail or the lower rail of the other seismic isolation members. .
As described above, the extension direction of the upper rail or the lower rail in at least one of the seismic isolation members installed in a plurality is set in a horizontal plane with respect to the upper rail or the lower rail of the other seismic isolation members. Since the angle is set inside, the fluctuation of the frictional force accompanying the vibration direction caused by the crossed rail arrangement of the seismic isolation members can be dispersed. For this reason, since the fluctuation range of frictional force becomes small regardless of the vibration direction due to the earthquake, stable seismic isolation performance can be exhibited.
In addition, when there are two seismic isolation members, the angle of inclination in the horizontal plane in the extending direction of each upper rail or lower rail is preferably 45 degrees.
When supporting a large seismic isolation object, a plurality of these seismic isolation devices may be used in combination.
Further, the seismic isolation device according to the present invention includes a width between the upper rail and the lower rail, a surface pressure between the upper rail and the upper slide block in the seismic isolation device, and the lower rail and the lower slip. The surface pressure between the blocks is 1 MPa or less.
Thus, the width of the upper rail and the lower rail is set so that the surface pressure between the upper rail and the upper slide block and the surface pressure between the lower rail and the lower slide block in the seismic isolation device are 1 MPa or less. Therefore, even when the upper sliding block and the lower sliding block slide at a high speed due to a large vibration, it is possible to prevent the sliding surface from being damaged.
In the seismic isolation device according to the present invention, a static friction coefficient between the upper rail and the upper sliding block and a static friction coefficient between the lower rail and the lower sliding block in the seismic isolation device are set to 0. It is characterized by being set to 02 to 0.1.
Thus, the static friction coefficient between the upper rail and the upper slide block in the seismic isolation device and the static friction coefficient between the lower rail and the lower slide block are set to 0.02 to 0.1. Therefore, the upper sliding block and the lower sliding block start to slide at an acceleration of about 20 to 100 Gal. Therefore, the seismic isolation effect can be exhibited even in a small and medium-sized earthquake that generates an acceleration of approximately 20 to 100 Gal.
The seismic isolation device according to the present invention is characterized in that a vibration isolating member made of a vibration isolating material is interposed between an upper rail of the seismic isolation device and the seismic isolation object.
As described above, since the vibration isolating member made of the vibration isolating material is interposed between the upper rail of the seismic isolation device and the seismic isolation object, the vibration isolating member is transmitted to the upper rail, for example, the upper sliding block and It can absorb high-frequency and minute-amplitude vibrations such as vibrations caused by rattling of the lower sliding block and prevent transmission to seismic isolation objects. For this reason, it is possible to implement both low frequency and large amplitude earthquake countermeasures and high frequency and minute amplitude external vibration countermeasures.
According to the seismic isolation device of the present invention, the extension direction of the upper rail or the lower rail in at least one seismic isolation member among a plurality of seismic isolation members is set so that the upper rail or lower Since the rail is angled in the horizontal plane, the fluctuation range of the frictional force becomes small regardless of the vibration direction due to the earthquake, and stable seismic isolation performance can be exhibited.

Next, the seismic isolation operation will be described.

In this way, the extending direction of the upper rail 17 (lower rail 19) of the
In addition, when there are two seismic isolation members, the inclination angle is preferably 45 degrees, but other inclination angles may be used.

In the present embodiment, the
When the weight (normal force) acting on the contact surface is W and the coefficient of static friction is μ, the static friction force F1 is F1 = Wμ. On the other hand, the seismic force F2 has a magnitude obtained by multiplying the mass M by the acceleration (horizontal) α caused by the earthquake motion, that is, F2 = Mα. Since the mass M is obtained by dividing the weight W by the gravitational acceleration g, the seismic force F2 is F2 = W / g × α = W × α / g.
When the seismic force F2 becomes larger than the static frictional force F1, it slides. Therefore, the boundary value of the acceleration α due to the earthquake that starts sliding becomes α = μg when the above relationship is substituted as F1 = F2. Gravitational acceleration g is 980 Gal, and in this embodiment, the coefficient of static friction is adjusted to 0.06, so α is about 60 Gal. That is, when the acceleration due to the earthquake becomes 60 Gal or more, it slides and a relative displacement occurs, thereby providing a seismic isolation effect.
Since the acceleration due to the earthquake with the seismic intensity 4 is said to be 25 to 80 Gal, in this embodiment, the seismic isolation effect is exhibited against the vibration caused by the earthquake having the middle magnitude within the seismic intensity 4.
Since the static friction coefficient is adjusted in the range of 0.02 to 0.1, the upper sliding block and the lower sliding block start to slide at an acceleration of about 20 to 100 Gal. Therefore, a seismic isolation effect can be produced even in a small and medium-sized earthquake that generates an acceleration of about 20 to 100 Gal.
Further, when the seismic isolation function is generated, the upper sliding
In particular, at the beginning of sliding due to this movement, rattling due to a slight gap provided between the upper first sliding
As described above, in the present embodiment, it is possible to implement both low frequency and large amplitude earthquake countermeasures and high frequency and minute amplitude external vibration countermeasures.
