Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a disk fixing sheet, and more particularly, a ring that is installed on a turntable of a disk drive device (hereinafter referred to as a disk device) that requires high-speed rotation, and on which the disk is mounted. A disk fixing sheet that is suitably used as a fixing sheet for a shape, and that largely suppresses vertical deflection of the disk that occurs during high-speed rotation, thereby enabling stable reading of data from the disk. (Hereinafter, simply referred to as a fixing sheet).
In recent years, with the rapid spread of small general-purpose computers typified by personal computers and the increase in the capacity of various data used in such computers, recording and reproduction of DVD-ROMs and the like that can easily handle large amounts and high-speed data Compact discs (hereinafter simply referred to as discs) are commonly used. The reading speed of this disk has been increased according to the progress of technology, and the performance of reading is about 50 times faster (150 kilobytes / second (1 times speed) x 50 = 7500 kilobytes / second). Similarly, the speed was increased to about 50 times faster.
By the way, the
In this case, the fixing force of the
However, when considering the actual use environment, it is not necessarily a clean state. For example, when dust or dust adheres to the
In recent years, it is necessary to consider DVDs whose storage capacity has been greatly increased and Blu-ray discs that are expected to become popular in the future. In consideration of reading and writing of these, in addition to increasing the rotational speed, The amount of data transferred per unit time has also increased dramatically in proportion to the increase in storage capacity, and the high rotational stability of the disk that can accurately transfer the data, that is, the height difference during rotation. There is a need to make it smaller. Specifically, the rotational height difference that can achieve rotational stability is 50 μm for a music CD or the like, but 20 to 25 μm for a CD-R / RW with writing or a large-capacity DVD-ROM, and a rotation of 40 μm. It is about 10-15μm or less for high-speed CD-R / RW and DVD +/- R, RW, or RAM with high capacity and writing, and in recent years the mainstream products have a high stability of about 5 times more than the past products. Is required.
Further, the
In order to overcome the above-mentioned problems and achieve the intended object, the present invention provides a ring-shaped fixing sheet provided on a rotating part of a disk device on which a disk as a storage medium is placed.
An elastomer is used as a raw material, and it is characterized by comprising a foam layer having a required thickness in which the deflection rate due to a compressive load of 0.170 MPa or less is at least 5%.
As described above, according to the fixing sheet according to the present invention, the foamed layer having a deflection rate of at least 5% due to a compressive load of 0.170 MPa or less is provided. It has become possible to reduce the runout. In addition, the introduction of the foam structure makes it possible to absorb and reduce vibrations related to resonance, avoid fluctuations in height due to adhesion of dust etc. on the fixing sheet, and introduce a gradual standard for initial thickness dimensional accuracy. As a result, the drive device can be used in a poor environment with a lot of dust, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
Next, the fixing sheet according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of preferred examples. In addition, about the member etc. which were already mentioned regarding FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, while attaching | subjecting the same code | symbol, the detailed description is abbreviate | omitted. The inventor of the present application forms a fixing sheet from a foamed layer obtained from an elastomer raw material, and has a physical property that expresses a deflection rate of 5% or more when applied by a compressive load of 0.170 MPa or less by employing this foamed layer. It has been found that it is possible to reduce the vertical vibration and resonance generated during the rotation of the disk. Also, by achieving this condition, there is a maximum height difference between four points on the disk corresponding to four points located at equal intervals at a central angle of 90 ° on the radially outer edge of the surface of the foam layer when the disk is placed. It was found that the height difference was 3 μm or less, and the height difference during rotation was greatly reduced. It should be noted that the maximum height difference measured in the present invention is between four points located at equal intervals at a central angle of 90 ° on the outer edge in the radial direction on the surface of the foam layer, which will be described in an experimental example described later ([0021]). This is because it is empirically known that the overall height difference on the disk placed on the fixing sheet can be sufficiently grasped by measuring four points under these conditions. You may employ | adopt the height difference between several points located in the center angle at equal intervals as needed.
As shown in FIG. 1, a fixing
The structure-enhanced
Note that the thickness of the structural reinforcing
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The compression load condition of 0.170 MPa is the upper limit value calculated in the above-mentioned ([0005]) use range condition of the fixing
The hardness of the foamed
As the material of the foamed
Further, the fixing
And since the manufacturing method of the fixing

The present invention is not limited to this experimental example.
