Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a truing method for a grindstone of a grinder, and more particularly to a truing method for a grindstone with a rotating body formed of a diamond grindstone provided with diamond abrasive grains used in the grinder.
However, when the single stone diamond dresser as described above is used, the force concentrates on one point, so the wear of the single stone diamond is severe and truing may become impossible in a short time. In addition, since the force concentrates at one point, especially in the case of a disc-shaped grindstone used for a grinding grinder (form grinder), etc., the grindstone itself deforms due to the strength of the grindstone itself, and the vibration does not converge. there were. Therefore, there is a problem that a shape with a predetermined R attached to the tip of the grindstone cannot be cut out accurately for CNC control. In addition, since cutting is performed at one point, there is a problem that it takes time to truing the whole. Furthermore, a large single stone diamond dresser has a problem in that diamond abrasive grains are buried and dropped off, and it is difficult to form a cutting edge and the amount of protrusion of the diamond abrasive grains is not uniform.
On the other hand, in the dresser using GC, since the contact is made with the grinding wheel with a low pressure in a relatively wide range, the above-mentioned problems are few. However, the diamond abrasive grains themselves cannot be crushed by GC, and a binder is used. Sharpen to expose new diamond abrasive grains. Therefore, in the case of truing using a grindstone using this GC abrasive grain as the dresser, the grinding ratio of the diamond grindstone to the dresser is about 1: 100, which takes time and wear of the dresser is remarkable. In addition, when a truing grindstone becomes large, it is usually performed by using a dedicated device outside the machine.
In addition, after the truing, the grindstone surface is rough, and it is necessary to take out a fine runout, so it is necessary to perform dressing (review) again. Therefore, apart from the truing method after the above truing, the grindstone is attached to the grinder and the GC or WA grindstone is pressed against the grindstone on the machine, which makes the work complicated.
Here, the work accuracy of the product to be ground depends greatly on the uniformity of the height of the protruding amount of abrasive grains, but the method of burying the abrasive grains and the method of removing the abrasive grains by scraping the binder and exposing them Then, there is essentially only truing in units of abrasive grains. The only way to make the amount of abrasive grain protruding uniform was to make the grain small and uniform.
However, when the abrasive grains are made small, there is a problem that sharpness is deteriorated and clogging of the grindstone is worsened.

Hereinafter, a truing method using an on-machine truing device in a forming grinder as an embodiment embodying the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

The work table 2 is provided with an actuator (not shown), and is controlled by a CNC control device (not shown) in the X direction (spindle axis direction), the Y direction (horizontal direction orthogonal to the X axis), and the Z direction (height direction). Then, move the work placed here. The feed of the work table 2 is moved with an accuracy of 0.1 μm. During normal grinding, a work held by a jig (not shown) on the work table 2 is fixed by a chuck, and grinding is performed by a traverse method using a
An actuator is also provided for the grindstone table 7 itself supporting the
The on-machine truing device 3 is fixed when the Z direction (height) of the work table 2 is positioned, and thereafter the spindle 4 is CNC-controlled to perform truing.

FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the upper end portion of the
The
Further, after truing, dressing (retouching) is performed to prepare a rough surface and create a cutting edge to restore the cutting performance of the grindstone.

(Configuration of the on-machine truing device) The on-machine truing device 3 shown in FIG. 1 includes a motor 9 made of a DC brushless motor, and a dressing
The on-machine truing device 3 configured as described above can be easily installed on the work table 2 when necessary, and can be easily withdrawn when unnecessary.
(Wearing Stone for Dressing) FIG. 4 is a view in which a
(Abrasive grains) The grain size of the dressing
In the dressing grindstone of the present embodiment, those having a grain size of # 200 are used. This can be said to be a grain size three times as large as the grain size of the
Since the present invention is characterized by truing the workpiece grindstone so as to cleave the diamond abrasive grains, even in this embodiment, the destructive force of the abrasive grains of the dressing
In addition, it is desirable that the grain size of the
Further, when the grain size of the
(Abrasive grain tip height) If the present invention is defined from the uniformity of the dresser side abrasive grains, it is desirable that the difference in the abrasive grain tip height of the dressing
Moreover, the difference in the height of the abrasive grain tip due to “runout” during rotation due to the flatness of the binder itself is also included. This is because, although the cause is different, the height of the abrasive grain tip acting on the
(Binder) Resinoids are used as a binder to fix the abrasive grains of the dressing
Further, even if there are diamond abrasive grains that protrude more than necessary, resinoids have an appropriate elasticity, so if the number of protruding abrasive grains is not small, the diamond abrasive grains of this protruding dressing
(Truing procedure) Next, an on-machine truing procedure using the on-machine truing device 3 will be described.
(Preparation) First, prior to truing, the dynamic balance of the
The dressing
Further, when the
(Rotating) truing is performed when the above preparation is completed. During truing, the
(Traverse Method) FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the procedure of the truing traverse method. This figure shows the relative positions of the
If it demonstrates according to FIG. 5, the front-end | tip of the
From this state, it is moved in the + Y direction so as to be closer to the dressing
Here, the grinding ratio calculated by the
(Operation) Here, FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing a state of the abrasive grains A in which a part of the
The difference in the state is that the abrasive grain A1 retains the holding force of the portion buried in the binder B and the abrasive grains when colliding with the abrasive grain D (see FIG. 7) of the dressing grindstone. This is thought to be due to a balance between inertia, impact of the impacted part, and absorption of impact due to cleavage. In other words, the condition for cleaving rather than dropping or burying is to make the fracture energy small enough to be supported by inertia and holding force. In other words, the smaller the cut amount C, the less likely it is to drop off. For example, the abrasive grain A can be held by the binder B so that it is sufficiently cleaved when the cutting depth at one time is about 1/20 of the maximum grain size of the abrasive grain A.
In addition, if the variation in the cut amount C is not stable, the cut amount C can be kept constant, and the cut amount C itself can be sufficiently controlled on the order of 0.1 μm. The tip position of the abrasive grain A changes from the variation in the protruding amount. That is, it is effective to make the tip height of the abrasive grains of the dressing
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, when the size of the abrasive grain D of the dressing grindstone is too large compared to the abrasive grain A, the stress at the time of collision is concentrated on a part of the abrasive grain A and only the tip part is covered. It cannot be destroyed and is thought to be buried without being cleaved. If the abrasive grain size is at least a difference of about 5 times, effective cleavage can be performed.
Moreover, as shown in FIG. 8, if the abrasive grain D is too small, the abrasive grain A cannot be destroyed, but rather the abrasive grain D is dropped, cleaved, or buried. In this sense, the abrasive grain D is preferably equal to or more than the abrasive grain A and within about 5 times.
Moreover, as shown in FIG. 9, if the cut amount C per rotation is too large, the abrasive grains A easily fall off. The cutting amount C varies depending on the abrasive grain size, but according to the experiments of the present inventors, the dressing
Therefore, an appropriate cutting amount can be calculated in advance from the mesh count. For example, it may be calculated by the following formula: dressing speed (m / min) = constant (for example, “1200”) / mesh count (#). The constant is calculated and determined, but it is also desirable to determine it by experimentation in advance.

(Dressing) In the truing process of the present invention, the accuracy of the truing itself is extremely high, and the cleavage of the abrasive grains is brought about. Therefore, if truing is performed by the on-machine truing device 3, the process has the same effect as the conventional dressing process. That is, the reshaping-adjusting-shaping operation can be seamlessly performed while adjusting the cutting amount and the number of rotations according to the correction amount and the expected finishing level. For convenience, truing and dressing are described separately, but the present invention is characterized in that these can be a series of operations. In addition, since this can be performed on the machine from the truing to the dressing while the
(Experiment 1)
This is an experiment for comparison with a conventional dressing method. The GC stick used for truing, the GC rotating grindstone, and the present invention were compared.

Ra = 0.58, Ry = 0.419, Rz = 0 354. In the GC rotary grindstone, Ra = 0.54, Ry = 0.396, Rz = 0.333. On the other hand, in the present invention, Ra = 0.034, Ry = 0.234, and Rz = 0.179.

As a result, it was confirmed that the surface roughness was improved in a short time as compared with the conventional GC stick and GC rotary grindstone.

This is an experiment to compare up-cut and down-cut for each peripheral speed.
Under the conditions of the embodiment, the grindstone grinds downward, while the dress grindstone is up-cut (rotation direction in which the speed is added in the opposite direction) and down-cut (rotation direction in which the speeds cancel each other). Compared with truing. As a result, the following numerical values were obtained.
First, the grindstone for the grinder was 75 mm diameter, # 600, binder vitrified, V-shaped, tip 0.05R, V = 30 m / s, 100 st / min, and one spark out.
アップカットでは、ドレッサの周速度が10m/sでは、Ra0.070,Ry0.371,Rz0.325、20m/sでは、Ra0.046,Ry0.343,Rz0.281、30m/sでは、Ra0.049,Ry0.328,Rz0.284であった。 In the upcut, when the peripheral speed of the dresser is 10 m / s, Ra 0.070, Ry 0.371, Rz 0.325, and 20 m / s, Ra 0.046, Ry 0.343, Rz 0.281, and 30 m / s, Ra 0. 049, Ry 0.328, Rz 0.284.
また、40m/sでは、Ra0.045,Ry0.298,Rz0.256、50m/sでは、Ra0.040,Ry0.268,Rz0.234、60m/sでは、Ra0.038,Ry0.260,Rz0.222であった。また、70m/sでは、Ra0.034,Ry0.258,Rz0.202、80m/sでは、Ra0.031,Ry0.216,Rz0.182であった。 At 40 m / s, Ra 0.045, Ry 0.298, Rz 0.256, at 50 m / s, Ra 0.040, Ry 0.268, Rz 0.234, at 60 m / s, Ra 0.038, Ry 0.260, Rz0. 222. At 70 m / s, Ra 0.034, Ry 0.258, Rz 0.202, and at 80 m / s, Ra 0.031, Ry 0.216, Rz 0.182.
一方、ダウンカットでは、10m/sでは、Ra0.051,Ry0.396,Rz0.307、20m/sでは、Ra0.052,Ry0.429,Rz0.336、30m/sでは、Ra0.057,Ry0.438,Rz0.363であった。また、40m/sでは、Ra0.056,Ry0.396,Rz0.347、50m/sでは、Ra0.053,Ry0.392,Rz0.316であった。 On the other hand, Ra0.051, Ry0.396, Rz0.307 at 10 m / s, Ra0.052, Ry0.429, Rz0.336 at 20 m / s, Ra0.057, Ry0 at 30 m / s. .438, Rz 0.363. At 40 m / s, Ra 0.056, Ry 0.396, Rz 0.347, and at 50 m / s, Ra 0.053, Ry 0.392, and Rz 0.316.
From the above results, the higher the peripheral speed of the dresser, the better the surface roughness, the better the surface roughness of the upcut compared to the downcut, and in particular, Vd = 30 to 40 m / s. If it exceeds, it turns out that an effect is remarkable.
(Experiment 3)
This is an experiment comparing the present invention with a GC dress and a fixed diamond. After truing an SD # 800 vitrified bond V-shaped grindstone, the appearance was microscopically examined. Compare GC dress (dresser GC # 400, dresser circumferential speed 2m / sec, grinding wheel circumferential speed 10m / sec) with diamond dress (dresser SD # 200 resin, dresser circumferential speed 40m / sec, grinding wheel circumferential speed 30m / sec) did. Further, diamond (PDC) dresses (dresser PCD 1R shape, dresser peripheral speed fixed 0 m / sec, grindstone peripheral speed 30 m / sec) were also compared.
As a result, in the CG dress, a lot of abrasive grains are dropped, and the number of effective cutting edges is small. Clogging can also be confirmed. On the other hand, in the diamond dress, the tips of the abrasive grains looked relatively smooth and the number of cutting edges was large. Further, in the diamond (PCD) dress, the tip portion was clogged, and many smooth abrasive grains were observed.
From this result, it was confirmed that the truing of the present invention can create a cutting blade as compared with the conventional GC dress. In addition, it was confirmed that an effective cutting edge was not created in the diamond (PCD) dress.
(Experiment 4)
This is an experiment to confirm the surface roughness due to the difference in binder.
The grinding results when the dresser is a resinoid grindstone, a metal grindstone, or an electrodeposited grindstone are shown. The
The results were as follows: Ra = 0.028, Ry = 0.222, Rz = 0.162 for the resinoid grindstone, whereas Ra = 0.045, Ry = 0.321, Rz = for the metal grindstone. It was 0.266. In the electrodeposition grindstone, Ra = 0.042, Ry = 0.245, and Rz = 0.210.
From this result, the metal grindstone and electrodeposited grindstone have a strong fixing force and a strong destructive force, but the metal grindstone with the lowest cleaving ability of the abrasive grains is considered to have the largest unevenness of the abrasive grains. It became rough. Since it is possible to align the height of the abrasive grains of the electrodeposition grindstone, it is better than the metal grindstone, but the price is high. Although the resinoid grindstone is low in strength, as a result, the resinoid wheel can be sufficiently trued and the surface roughness is excellent and a good numerical value is obtained.
(Experiment 5)
This is an experiment for confirming the relationship between the grain size of the abrasive grains and the dressing speed. Comparison of the surface roughness of the ground material grinded with the SD600 and 75mm diameter vitrified grinding wheel truing under the conditions of dresser circumferential speed of 40m / sec, up cut and cutting depth of 2μm twice did.
At SD600, at a dress speed of 20 m / min, Ra = 0.042, Ry = 0.288, and Rz = 0.251. When SD800 was used at the same dressing speed of 20 m / min, the surface roughness deteriorated as Ra = 0.050, Ry = 0.330, Rz = 0.291. Therefore, when the dressing speed was 15 m / min, Ra = 0.043, Ry = 0.286, and Rz = 0.247, which were the same surface roughness as when the dressing speed of 20 m / min was approximately SD600.
From this result, it is presumed that the dress speed (m / min) and the mesh count (#) are inversely proportional to each other at a constant constant.
According to the truing method of the above embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
