後壁30は、好ましくは遠赤外線放射性材料が表面に形成されている板により構成する。小室21の前面の扉22を除く壁部が遠赤外線放射性材料で包囲されることにより、食品を良好に保温することができる。
なお、小室21の底板25前方部分には、食品を定位置に保持するための突起25aが形成されており(図1,4参照)、貯蔵室側から小室21へと食品Fを補充する際、食品が所定位置に止まるようになっている。
