Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rolling bearing device including a seal device that prevents leakage of enclosed grease and prevents entry of dust, water, and the like from the outside.
A rolling bearing device for supporting a wheel of an automobile is usually used outdoors while exposed to rainwater, wind and snow, and dust. Moreover, it may be used in a state where it is submerged in muddy water. Furthermore, the vehicle is exposed to washing water during car washing. The wheel-supporting rolling bearing device used in such an environment is sealed by a sealing device so as to prevent entry of dust, water, and the like from the outside. The elastic member of the sealing device that seals by sliding contact with the mating member is composed of a rubber composition in which additives are appropriately blended with general rubber materials such as nitrile rubber, acrylic rubber, and fluororubber.
Therefore, a wheel bearing rolling bearing device is disclosed in Patent Document 1 in which a non-rusting metal ring is attached so as to cover a portion where the elastic member of the sealing device is in sliding contact, thereby preventing corrosion of the portion. Has been.
However, the rolling bearing device equipped with the above-described non-rusting metal ring has the following problems.
(1) A space for mounting the metal ring is required.
(2) Since the number of parts and the number of man-hours for manufacturing increase, the cost increases.
(3) It is difficult to mount a metal ring on a curved surface or a flat surface such as a cylindrical surface or a spherical surface so that no gap is generated in mass production.
Accordingly, the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, and has an excellent hermeticity in which a portion where the elastic member of the sealing device is in sliding contact is less likely to be corroded, and is excellent in mass productivity and inexpensive. It is an issue to provide.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has the following configuration. That is, the rolling bearing device of claim 1 according to the present invention has an inner member having a raceway surface on the outer surface and a raceway surface facing the raceway surface of the inner member, and is disposed outside the inner member. The outer member, a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the raceway surfaces, and a sliding contact with the other member attached to one of the inner member and the outer member. In the rolling bearing device comprising the sealing device, the sealing device comprises an elastic member that is in sliding contact with the other member, and the elastic member is made of a rubber composition containing a rust inhibitor. It is characterized by.
The rolling bearing device having such a configuration has excellent sealing properties because corrosion hardly occurs in a portion where the elastic member of the sealing device is in sliding contact. In addition, since no special member is required and there is no possibility that the above-described problems associated with mounting the special member occur, it is excellent in mass productivity and inexpensive.
The rolling bearing device of the present invention is excellent in mass productivity and inexpensive because it has an excellent sealing property in which corrosion does not easily occur in a portion where the elastic member of the sealing device is in sliding contact.
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Embodiments of a rolling bearing device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a structure of a wheel bearing rolling bearing device which is an embodiment of a rolling bearing device according to the present invention.
The outer member 1 that is a stationary side race ring is fixed to a suspension device (not shown) by a
The inward member 3 includes a hub 4 and an inner ring 5. Among these, the inner peripheral surface of the hub 4 is a
In the present embodiment, in a state where the wheel bearing rolling bearing device is attached to a vehicle such as an automobile, the portion facing the width direction outer side of the vehicle is referred to as an outer end side portion, and the portion facing the width direction center side Is referred to as an inner end portion. That is, in FIG. 1, the left side is the outer end side, and the right side is the inner end side.

Further, between the inner peripheral surface of the inner end side portion of the outer member 1 and the outer peripheral surface of the inner end side portion of the inner ring 5 and between the inner peripheral surface of the outer end side portion of the outer member 1 and the hub 4.
The configuration of the
The
Further, the
The
More specifically, the
The outer side surface (left side surface in FIG. 3) of the
The outer diameter in the free state of the
The outer diameter in a free state of the part of the
In such a wheel-supporting rolling bearing device, the portion where the tip edge of the
However, since the rubber composition constituting the
Next, the rubber composition constituting the
Also, a hydrogenated rubber such as a hydrogenated rubber such as a hydrogenated nitrile rubber may be used. Further, rubber modified with a carboxyl group or the like, for example, carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber or carboxylated styrene butadiene rubber may be used.
However, considering the resistance to lubricants such as encapsulated grease, acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, acrylic rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, etc., which are oil resistant rubbers, are suitable.
These rubbers may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
In addition, the type of rust preventive compounded in the rubber composition is not particularly limited, but examples include alkenyl succinic acid, alkenyl succinic acid derivative, alkylalkyl, hydroxy fatty acid, mercapto fatty acid, sarcosine derivative, fatty acid (betarotam) Oxides, waxes, etc.), naphthenic acid, naphthenic acid metal salts (metal is calcium, zinc, etc.), abinic acid, lanolin fatty acid, amino acid derivatives, carboxylates such as amine salts, petroleum sulfonic acid, dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid , Heavy alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, sulfonic acid metal salt (metal is sodium, calcium, barium, zinc, etc.), calcium carbonate fine particle dispersion, sulfonate such as amine salt, alkoxyphenylamine, diethanolamine derivative, amino alcohol, rosinamine Ethylene oxide Amines such as de adducts, monoesters, diphosphate, phosphorous acid esters, phosphoric acid, phosphate, boron compounds. Among these, alkenyl succinic acid, alkenyl succinic acid derivatives, naphthenic acid metal salts, and sulfonic acid metal salts are preferable because of their excellent antirust properties.
In addition, these rust preventives may be used independently and may be used in combination of 2 or more type.
It is preferable that the compounding quantity of a rust preventive agent is 0.2 to 30 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of rubber | gum. If it is less than 0.2 parts by mass, sufficient rust preventive properties are difficult to obtain, and if it exceeds 30 parts by mass, poor dispersion of the rust inhibitor may occur and the physical properties of the rubber composition may deteriorate. In order to make such problems difficult to occur, the blending amount of the rust inhibitor is more preferably 1 part by mass or more and 20 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber.
A reinforcing filler may be blended in the rubber composition. Examples of reinforcing fillers include carbon black, silica, clay, talc, mica, diatomaceous earth, wollastonite, aluminum oxide, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, aluminum sulfate, sulfuric acid Examples include barium, calcium sulfate, silicon carbide, graphite, glass powder, carbon powder, glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, boron fiber, bentonite, and shirasu cellulose powder. Among these, carbon black is preferable because it has a high reinforcing effect and has hydrophobicity.
These reinforcing fillers may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The blending amount of the reinforcing filler is not particularly limited, but the blending amount of these reinforcing fillers is not particularly limited, but may be 5 parts by mass or more and 200 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber. Is preferred. If the blending amount is less than 5 parts by mass, sufficient reinforcing properties may not be exhibited. On the other hand, even if blended in excess of 200 parts by mass, not only a further improvement in the reinforcing effect is not recognized, but there is a possibility that the moldability is extremely lowered and the production becomes difficult. Furthermore, the hardness becomes too high, the elongation becomes low, and the inherent rubber elasticity may be lowered.
Moreover, you may mix | blend a vulcanizing agent with a rubber composition. Examples of vulcanizing agents include sulfur, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, sulfur-containing organic compounds, dithiocarbamates, oxime-based vulcanizing agents, quinoid-based vulcanizing agents, nitroso compounds, peroxide-based vulcanizing agents, and amine-based vulcanizing agents. Examples include vulcanizing agents, ammonium benzoates, isocyanuric acid, metal soaps, and resin vulcanizing agents. The amount of the vulcanizing agent is suitably from 0.1 parts by weight to 10 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of rubber.
Furthermore, a vulcanization aid, an activator, and a vulcanization accelerator can be blended in the rubber composition. Examples of vulcanization aids and activators include zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, lead monoxide, lead tetroxide, zinc carbonate, basic lead carbonate, calcium hydroxide, organic acids (such as stearic acid), zinc stearate , Amines and glycols. The blending amount of the vulcanization aid and the activator is suitably from 0.1 to 10 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber. Examples of vulcanization accelerators include guanidine compounds, aldehyde-ammonia compounds, aldehyde-amine compounds, thiazole compounds, thiourea compounds, sulfenamide compounds, thiuram compounds, dithiocarbamate compounds, xanthate compounds. Compounds. The blending amount of the vulcanization accelerator is suitably from 0.1 parts by weight to 10 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of rubber.
Furthermore, a crosslinking assistant (coagent) can be used together with the organic peroxide vulcanizing agent. Examples of crosslinking aids include tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate, ethylene dimethacrylate, 1,3-butylene dimethacrylate, 1,4-methylene dimethacrylate, 1,6-hexanediol dimethacrylate, polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 1, 4-butanediol diacrylate, 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate, 2,2′-bis (4-methacryloxydiethoxyphenyl) propane, 2,2′-bis (4-acryloxydiethoxyphenyl) propane , Trimethylolpropane triacrylate, trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate, pentaerythritol triacrylate, 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate, oligoester acrylate, aluminum (meth) acrylate , Zinc (meth) acrylate, magnesium (meth) acrylate, calcium (meth) acrylate, triallyl isocyanurate, triallyl cyanurate, triallyl trimellitate, diallyl phthalate, diallyl chlorendate, divinylbenzene, 2-vinyl Examples include pyridine, N, N′-methylenebisacrylamide, p-quinone dioxime, p, p′-dibenzoylquinone dioxime, 1,2-polybutadiene, and metal methacrylate. The blending amount of the crosslinking aid is suitably from 1 part by weight to 10 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of rubber.
Furthermore, you may mix | blend various rubber additives other than the above with a rubber composition. For example, you may mix | blend the anti-aging agent which prevents oxidative degradation. Examples of the antioxidant include amine / ketone condensation products, aromatic secondary amines, monophenol derivatives, bis or polyphenol derivatives, hydroquinone derivatives, sulfur-based antioxidants, and phosphorus-based antioxidants. Among these, examples of the amine / ketone condensation products include 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline polymers and condensation reaction products of diphenylamine and acetone. Aromatic secondary amines include N, N′-di-β-naphthyl-p-phenylenediamine, 4,4′-bis- (α, α-dimethylbenzyl) diphenylamine, N-phenyl-N. '-(3-Methacryloyloxy-2-hydroxypropyl) -p-phenylenediamine.
Furthermore, in order to prevent thermal decomposition of the rubber composition and improve heat resistance, it is more preferable to use a secondary anti-aging agent together with the anti-aging agent. Examples of secondary anti-aging agents include sulfur secondary anti-aging agents such as 2-mercaptobenzimidazole and 2-mercaptomethylbenzimidazole, and zinc salts thereof.
Furthermore, you may mix | blend the sun crack prevention agent which suppresses the crack by the effect | action of sunlight or ozone with a rubber composition. Examples of the sun crack preventing agent include waxes having a melting point of about 55 to 70 ° C. The blending amount of the sun crack preventing agent is suitably 0.5 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber.
Furthermore, when it is necessary to improve the moldability of the rubber composition, a plasticizer may be appropriately added as a processing aid in addition to the additives as described above. However, when there is no particular hindrance to the molding, it may not be added. When added, 3 parts by mass or more and 40 parts by mass or less is appropriate for 100 parts by mass of rubber. If it is added more than necessary, the rubber composition softens, and at the same time, the rubber composition bleeds out without being completely mixed, and there is a possibility that the adhesiveness between the cored bar and the elastic member constituting the sealing device will be extremely lowered. Examples of plasticizers include phthalic acid diesters such as dioctyl phthalate, polyester plasticizers, polyether plasticizers, polyetherester plasticizers, and liquid nitrile rubber.
Furthermore, when it is necessary to impart conductivity to the rubber composition, a conductive substance may be added. For example, if there is no mechanism to energize between the axle and the wheel-supporting rolling bearing device, static electricity generated during the traveling of the automobile remains in the vehicle, and radio noise is generated when the vehicle starts traveling. Problems may occur. In order to cope with this, it has been considered to impart electrical conductivity to the elastic member of the seal device of the wheel support rolling bearing device to energize the axle and the wheel support rolling bearing device.
In the case of imparting conductivity to the elastic member, the resistance value is not particularly limited, but the volume resistivity value is preferably 1 × 10 5 Ω · cm or less, and the volume resistivity value is this. Radio noise can be sufficiently suppressed as long as it is below. The method of imparting conductivity to the elastic member is not particularly limited, but a method of adding conductive powder or conductive fiber to the rubber composition is preferable.
Examples of the conductive powder include metal powders such as brass, aluminum alloy, copper, silver, nickel, steel, and stainless steel. Conductive materials such as graphite, conductive carbon black, conductive tin oxide doped with antimony in tin oxide, conductive zinc oxide doped with aluminum in zinc oxide, and conductive indium oxide doped with tin in indium oxide Examples include powdered ones, and powders made of an insulating material such as mica and a conductive coating. Furthermore, examples of conductive fibers include carbon fibers, metal fibers (fibers made of brass, aluminum alloys, copper, silver, nickel, steel, stainless steel, etc.), and non-conductive fibers with a conductive coating. can give.
Among these, conductive carbon black having a highly developed graphite structure is preferable because it has less influence on the mechanical properties and processability of the rubber composition. Among conductive carbon blacks, acetylene black and ketjen black are more preferable because excellent conductivity can be obtained in a small amount. The addition amount of acetylene black and ketjen black is not particularly limited, but is suitably 1 part by mass or more and 20 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of rubber. If the amount is less than 1 part by mass, sufficient conductivity (volume resistivity value of 1 × 10 5 Ω · cm or less) is not exhibited, and radio noise may not be sufficiently suppressed. On the other hand, when it is added in excess of 20 parts by mass, not only is the workability extremely lowered and the production becomes difficult, but the hardness becomes too high and the elongation becomes low, and the inherent rubber elasticity may be lowered. is there.
In addition, when referring to the physical properties of the elastic member, its hardness is affected by the blending amount of reinforcing fillers and various additives, etc., but it is applied to the seal device of rolling bearing devices for supporting wheels of automobiles and railway vehicles. From the viewpoint of sealing performance and followability, the range of 50 to 90 is preferable on the spring hardness A scale defined in JIS K6301. When the spring hardness is less than 50, the friction resistance of the sealing device increases and the wear resistance decreases. On the other hand, if the spring hardness exceeds 90, the rubber elasticity is lowered as described above, so that the sealing performance and followability of the lip portion of the sealing device are lowered, and the environment is exposed to dusty environment and muddy water. If used in, the life of the rolling bearing device may be reduced.
The method for obtaining the elastic member from the rubber composition is not particularly limited, but it is sufficient to heat the unvulcanized rubber composition while pressing it in a mold, and compression molding, transfer molding, injection molding. It can manufacture by well-known rubber molding methods, such as. For example, in the case of compression molding, a metal core previously coated with an adhesive is mounted in a mold, and a sheet of an unvulcanized rubber composition is placed thereon, usually at 120 to 250 ° C. for 3 minutes. It can be produced by pressure vulcanization for about 2 hours.

First, the manufacturing method of a rubber sheet is demonstrated. Various materials were mixed and kneaded using a pressure kneader and a kneading roll to obtain an unvulcanized rubber sheet having a thickness of 2.2 mm. This unvulcanized rubber sheet was placed in a mold having a length of 150 mm, a width of 150 mm, and a thickness of 2 mm, and vulcanization molding was performed at 170 ° C. for 15 minutes while applying a pressure of 5 MPa. Further, in Examples 12 to 14 and Comparative Examples 5 and 6, secondary vulcanization was performed under the conditions shown in Table 4.
Next, the hardness, tensile strength, and tensile elongation of each obtained vulcanized rubber sheet were evaluated by the following methods. The evaluation results are shown in Table 4.
・ Hardness: A vulcanized rubber sheet is punched into the shape of a dumbbell-shaped No. 3 test piece specified in JIS, and three sheets are stacked, and the hardness is determined by the method specified in JIS K6301 (spring hardness A scale) Was measured.
・ Tensile strength and tensile elongation: A dumbbell-shaped No. 3 test piece obtained in the same manner as described above is mounted on a universal testing machine Autograph AG-10KNG manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation, and a prescribed tensile test is performed in JIS K6301. The tensile breaking strength and the tensile elongation were measured.
Next, a sealing device (inner diameter was 50 mm) having the same shape as the
This seal device was incorporated in a seal rotation tester as shown in FIG. 4, and a rotation test was performed in a state where the seal device was immersed in salt water containing mud (hereinafter referred to as “mud salt water”). That is, a
The
The results are shown in Table 4.
