Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an in-wheel motor control device, and more particularly to an improvement in an in-wheel motor control device that prevents low-temperature brittleness of components of the in-wheel motor.
In recent years, the use of a rotating electrical machine as a driving source for automobiles has been put into practical use, and the possibility of forming the mainstream of automobile driving forms is increasing in the future. In particular, a so-called in-wheel motor in which a rotating electric machine is directly built inside a wheel as a drive wheel has been put into practical use. A general in-wheel motor has a rotating electric machine, a speed reduction mechanism, a control circuit, and the like housed in an integrated housing. And this housing is connected to the strut etc. of the suspension apparatus.
However, general steel materials including iron materials are known to have low temperature brittleness. A vehicle equipped with an in-wheel motor is often exposed to a low-temperature environment, for example, in winter or in a cold region, and since it is electrically driven, the driver can start the vehicle immediately after boarding. For this reason, a housing in a low temperature state may be subjected to continuous vibration in a fragile state, or may receive a strong impact when passing through unevenness on a road surface. As a result, the housing in a brittle state may be insufficient in strength. As a countermeasure against low temperature brittleness, an increase in wall thickness can be considered. However, as described above, weight is increased, which is not preferable. Therefore, there is a demand for an in-wheel motor capable of avoiding low-temperature brittleness even when an inexpensive steel material such as a thin iron material is used as a constituent member of the in-wheel motor. In particular, there is a demand for a technique for avoiding low temperature brittleness by controlling an in-wheel motor without greatly changing the mechanical configuration.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an in-wheel motor control device capable of avoiding low-temperature brittleness of in-wheel motor components formed of thin steel materials. There is to do.
The present invention is a control device for an in-wheel motor in which a rotating electrical machine capable of rotationally driving a wheel is housed in a wheel, the temperature acquisition means for acquiring the temperature of the in-wheel motor, and the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition means And warm-up drive means for controlling the amount of electric power supplied to the rotating electrical machine to perform warm-up drive.
Joule heat can be generated by applying a voltage to a coil wound around a rotor constituting a rotating electric machine and causing a current to flow. Therefore, a desired amount of Joule heat can be secured by appropriately controlling the amount of power supplied to the rotating electrical machine in anticipation of heat generation according to the temperature of the in-wheel motor acquired by the temperature acquisition means. The in-wheel motor can be warmed up. As a result, the low temperature brittleness of the in-wheel motor can be avoided.
In the above-described configuration, it is preferable that the warm-up driving means increases the temperature of the housing that forms the outer shell of the in-wheel motor.
The housing of the in-wheel motor is exposed to the outside air. Therefore, low temperature brittleness appears remarkably. However, the low temperature brittleness of the in-wheel motor can be easily and reliably avoided by increasing the temperature of the housing by Joule heat generated by the control of the warm-up drive means.
Moreover, the said structure WHEREIN: The said temperature acquisition means can acquire temperature from the temperature detector which detects the temperature of in-wheel motor itself directly.
For example, by providing a temperature detector in the housing of the in-wheel motor, the temperature of the in-wheel motor itself can be directly acquired and reflected in the control of the warm-up drive means. According to this aspect, the low temperature brittleness of the in-wheel motor can be avoided reliably and quickly.
Moreover, the said structure WHEREIN: You may make it the said temperature acquisition means estimate the temperature of an in-wheel motor based on the information which a vehicle acquires.
For example, a vehicle is provided with an outside air temperature sensor, for example, for an air conditioner. Further, the temperature around the vehicle can be acquired by a navigation device, an FM multiplex receiver, or other external information acquisition means. Then, the acquired outside air temperature is converted into the temperature of the in-wheel motor by using, for example, a correlation table between the vehicle ambient temperature and the in-wheel motor temperature prepared in advance. The temperature can be estimated easily.
According to this aspect, it becomes possible to use the temperature acquisition means existing in the vehicle, and the warm-up drive means can be easily controlled without providing a new sensor or the like.
Further, in the above configuration, the warm-up drive means may perform power supply control that does not generate rotational torque of the rotating electrical machine.
For example, when the rotating electrical machine is a three-phase coil, a rotating magnetic field is generated by sequentially applying a predetermined amount of voltage to the coils of each phase while shifting a predetermined amount of timing, thereby generating a desired torque in the rotor of the rotating electrical machine. Can do. However, it is possible to consume power without generating a rotating magnetic field by applying the same amount of voltage to each coil simultaneously in three phases. In this case, since no rotating magnetic field is generated, no rotational torque is generated in the rotor, but only current flows through the coils of each phase, and Joule heat is generated.
According to this aspect, the in-wheel motor can be warmed up while the vehicle is stopped, and low-temperature brittleness can be reliably avoided.
Further, in the above configuration, the warm-up driving means may overlap power supply to each coil of the rotating electrical machine for a predetermined time.
In this case, while the power supply is overlapping, no rotational torque is generated by the overlapping power, and only the power is consumed. That is, Joule heat is generated in this portion. According to this aspect, it is possible to perform the warm-up control of the in-wheel motor by the warm-up drive means even in a state where the vehicle starts running.
Further, in the above configuration, the warm-up driving means performs warm-up by adding electric power that generates the same amount of torque in the opposite direction to the front wheel side and the rear wheel side with respect to the required traveling torque. Also good.
For example, when a normal running torque command determined according to the accelerator pedal depression force is supplied to the in-wheel motor on the front wheel side, in addition to this running torque, a torque command is added to add + α% torque in the advanced direction. I will provide a. On the other hand, the in-wheel motor on the rear wheel side adds a torque command in which −α% of torque is added to the normal running torque command, that is, the same amount of torque in the reverse direction is added to the normal running torque. As a result, it appears that the vehicle is traveling according to a normal traveling torque command determined according to the pedaling force of the accelerator pedal, etc., but it consumes power for the added ± torque, and the in-wheel motor is subjected to Joule heat. Will occur. In the case described above, the front wheel side is heated. When heating the rear wheel side, control is performed so that the front wheel side is -α% and the rear wheel side is + α%. As a result, it is possible to perform warm-up control of the in-wheel motor by the warm-up drive means even in a state where the vehicle has started running. Of course, when the required running torque is “zero”, that is, even when the vehicle is in a stopped state, by adding electric power that generates the same amount of torque in the reverse direction to the front wheel side and the rear wheel side, Motor warm-up control can be performed.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the low temperature brittleness of an in-wheel motor can be easily avoided by performing drive control of an in-wheel motor according to the temperature of an in-wheel motor.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention (hereinafter referred to as an embodiment) will be described with reference to the drawings.
The control device for an in-wheel motor according to the present embodiment acquires the temperature of the in-wheel motor directly or indirectly, and when the acquired temperature is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature, low-temperature brittleness appears in the in-wheel motor. Judgment is made so that the in-wheel motor consumes only different power from the normal operation, or the in-wheel motor is deliberately controlled to perform excessive power consumption in addition to normal operation. This increases the temperature of a part in which the sapphire appears, for example, the housing forming the outer shell, and avoids low temperature brittleness.
FIG. 1 shows a conceptual configuration of a
Further, the
The
Further, the
FIG. 2 shows a conceptual configuration diagram of an in-
In FIG. 2, the
The
An
For example, the
On the other hand, the
A small-diameter portion of the
In the configuration of FIG. 2, the

A procedure for avoiding the low-temperature brittleness of the in-
The
The warm-
On the other hand, when the warm-
If it is determined in step S108 that the vehicle is not running (N in S108), the warm-
For example, in the case of a delta-connected three-phase motor, an effective rotating magnetic field is generated by applying a voltage to the coils U, V, W for a predetermined time in the order of (1) to (6) shown in FIG. The rotor rotates smoothly. That is, the in-
The
On the other hand, if it is determined in step S108 that the
In the warm-up control in this case, it is necessary to generate desired Joule heat in the coils U, V, and W while generating a rotational torque necessary for traveling of the in-
Even when the warm-up control is performed during traveling, the
As described above, in the present embodiment, the temperature of the in-
In addition, the Joule heat generation method by driving the in-
In this way, by adding a voltage so that the front and rear in-
In the present embodiment, when travel is requested, an example is shown in which warm-up control is performed while performing travel control. However, if necessary, a voice or a display message indicating that warm-up is necessary May be notified to the driver and instructed to wait for a while for the
In addition, the structure of each figure shown in this embodiment mentioned above is an example, and when the temperature of an in-wheel motor is acquired and the temperature is below a predetermined value, electric power is deliberately consumed with an in-wheel motor, and a module is obtained.
