Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a shake correction apparatus that corrects a shake of an image formed by an optical system.
The blur correction device is provided in an optical system that forms an image, and when vibration occurs, a blur correction optical system such as a lens included in a part of the optical system is moved on the image due to the vibration ( It is displaced in a direction in which image blur is reduced.
Such a blur correction device is provided in, for example, a photographing lens group such as a digital still camera, a film camera, and a movie camera, and a lens group such as binoculars. In some digital still cameras, an image pickup device is used as a blur correction optical system and is displaced.
The blur correction device described above is useful for reducing image blur caused by, for example, camera shake. For example, a camera lens equipped with a blur correction device is attached to a single-lens reflex camera having a movable mirror. When shooting with support by a fixing device such as a tripod, vibration in a frequency band different from that in hand-held shooting occurs, and image blur may be deteriorated by performing blur correction.
FIG. 6 is a graph showing an example of the frequency distribution of the output of the angular velocity sensor in which the shake correction apparatus detects vibrations, where the horizontal axis indicates frequency (Hz) and the vertical axis indicates deflection angle (deg).

FIG. 7 is a Bode diagram showing an example of control characteristics of the shake correction apparatus with respect to the vibration frequency to be shake correction. FIG. 7A shows the distribution of gain characteristics with respect to frequency, and FIG. 7B shows the distribution of phase response characteristics with respect to frequency.
As shown in FIG. 7A, the distribution of the gain characteristic is constant at about 0 dB in the frequency band of 10 Hz or less, but the gain gradually improves in the frequency band of about 20 Hz or more, and at 100 Hz, Overcorrection of about 5 dB occurs.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7B, the response characteristic distribution is constant at about 0 deg in the frequency band of 10 Hz or less, but the response delay gradually increases in the frequency band of about 20 Hz or more. At 100 Hz, a response delay of about 80 deg occurs.
For this reason, for example, when a tripod shake including a frequency component in the vicinity of 100 Hz occurs, even if normal blur correction control is performed, overcorrection and phase delay occur, and good blur correction cannot be performed. In some cases, the image blur was worsened.
。 Conventionally, when vibration that includes high-frequency components such as tripod shake occurs, it is determined whether the camera is supported by a tripod so that image blur is not deteriorated by continuing blur correction control. In such a case, it is known that no blur correction is performed (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
On the other hand, even if you are using a tripod, it may be desirable to perform shake correction, for example, when shooting from a vehicle or in a strong wind. If the adverse effects due to the components can be prevented, it is desired to perform blur correction.
An object of the present invention is to provide a shake correction apparatus that appropriately determines whether or not shake correction control is possible when shooting using a fixing device such as a tripod.

Hereinafter, each step shown in FIG. 3 will be described.

(Step S04: Determine whether ΔL is greater than threshold K)
The tripod blur correction
FIG. 5 is a graph showing an example of the history of the lens target position Lc and the lens position Lr in the shake correction apparatus of the present embodiment. Here, FIG. 5A and FIG. 5B show the states when blur correction control is performed for vibrations of about 20 Hz and about 100 Hz, respectively.
As shown in FIG. 5 (a), when blur correction control is performed with respect to vibration of about 20 Hz, the lens position Lr follows the lens target position Lc well in both gain characteristics and phase characteristics. As a result, ΔL is also smaller than the threshold value K. In such a case, the process proceeds to step S05.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 5B, when blur correction control is performed for vibration of about 100 Hz, the lens position Lr is excessively corrected with respect to the lens target position Lc due to an excessive gain. Further, as a result of the occurrence of the phase delay, ΔL becomes larger than the threshold value K. In such a case, the process proceeds to step S06.

Proceed to step S07.

Proceed to step S07.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the difference between the lens target position Lc output from the lens target
When such high-frequency vibration occurs, the blur correction control is stopped and switched to the fixed position control, so that the image blur is not deteriorated due to the influence of the high-frequency vibration on the blur correction control. Therefore, it is possible to appropriately determine whether or not the shake correction control is necessary.
In the case of the comparative example, in the state where the blur correction control is on, the image blur is deteriorated when a high frequency vibration is generated. Even in some cases, the effect cannot be obtained.
On the other hand, in the present embodiment, it is possible to automatically detect the presence or absence of high-frequency vibrations to determine whether or not blur correction control is possible, and to obtain a good imaging result regardless of the presence or absence of vibrations.
(Modification)
The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and various modifications and changes can be made, and these are also within the equivalent scope of the present invention.
(1) In the embodiment, when the difference between the lens target position Lc and the lens position Lr is large, it is determined that the vibration includes a high-frequency component caused by the camera. Detection may be performed based on the frequency distribution of the output signal. For example, the output of the angular velocity sensor before performing the low-pass filter process may be extracted and subjected to a band-pass filter process that passes a frequency component corresponding to the vibration caused by the camera.
(2) In the embodiment, when the exposure is started in a state where the correction is suppressed, the suppression of the correction is maintained until the end of the exposure, but the high-frequency vibration is attenuated to the extent that the blur correction control is not normally affected in several cycles. From the start of exposure, normal vibration correction control may be restored after a predetermined period of time taking into account the vibration attenuation period.
(3) In the embodiment, when the correction is suppressed, the fixed position control for stopping the correction lens is performed. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the gain of the output of the correction control unit with respect to the input from the vibration detection unit is It may be smaller than normal control.
