Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an in-vehicle control device, and more particularly to an in-vehicle control device having a configuration for appropriately giving a warning to a driver of a succeeding vehicle or a host vehicle.
A careless rear-end collision is an accident that occurs frequently among car collisions. One of the causes of rear-end collisions is that drivers can respond to changes in vehicle driving conditions on the road, such as when the vehicle in front depresses the brakes and slows down. There is a case of rear-end collision. In particular, the catastrophe that a truck crashes into the last vehicle in a traffic jam is a constant social problem. In recent years, vehicles with rear-end collision prevention by a front monitoring device have been put into practical use, but there is no protective means for rear-end collisions from vehicles that do not have a corresponding device.
For this reason, conventionally, the driver of a congested vehicle alerts the following vehicle that the vehicle will stop due to an emergency such as a congested traffic, and flashes the hazard lamp of its own vehicle before stopping to make a collision. The accident was prevented. However, because the hazard lamps provided on the vehicle are blinked manually by the driver, there is a risk that the blinking operation may be forgotten, such as being distracted by other operations, or the start of blinking may be delayed, In this case, the subsequent vehicle is not sufficiently alerted and a rear-end collision occurs.
Therefore, there is a device that uses a TV camera to observe the surrounding conditions of a running vehicle, detects surrounding vehicles that may collide, and generates a warning to the driver of the vehicle based on the result. It has been devised. In particular, a collision prevention device has been devised that detects a vehicle to be overtaken with high accuracy, predicts the possibility of collision in consideration of the turn signal and steering angle of the host vehicle, and issues an alarm ( Patent Document 1).
Also, the state of the brake lamp or hazard lamp of the vehicle ahead of the host vehicle is monitored with a camera or the like, and when the host vehicle is in a predetermined speed state, the brake lamp of the vehicle in front or the hazard lamp flashes. In this case, a vehicle control device has been devised that causes the hazard lamp of the host vehicle to blink, the brake lamp of the host vehicle to light, or the hazard lamp to blink (see Patent Document 2).
In the example of Patent Document 1, since the situation where the host vehicle is traveling cannot be grasped, it is not possible to take an appropriate workaround according to the scene. Further, there is no means for detecting the state in front of the vehicle.
In the examples of Patent Documents 1 and 2, it is necessary to add a camera for front monitoring or a device such as a camera or a sensor for detecting a change in the behavior of the vehicle, and a device for controlling these devices. turn into. Also, no means for detecting the state behind the vehicle is provided.
Against the background of the above problem, an object of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle control device capable of grasping the traveling state of a vehicle approaching from the rear of the host vehicle and taking an appropriate avoidance measure depending on the traveling state. With the goal.
This invention provides the vehicle-mounted control apparatus for solving the said subject. That is, according to claim 1, the vehicle speed detecting means for detecting the speed of the vehicle, the rear vehicle detecting means for detecting the vehicle traveling behind both, and the inter-vehicle distance calculating means for calculating the inter-vehicle distance between the rear vehicles. An approach speed calculating means for calculating the approach speed of the rear vehicle based on the vehicle speed and the inter-vehicle distance, a position detecting means for detecting the current position of the vehicle, an informing means for informing the rear vehicle, and road type information. Configured as a vehicle control apparatus according to claim and.
The present invention enables appropriate measures by combining road information on which a vehicle is traveling from an in-vehicle device such as a navigation device, information on the traveling state of the vehicle, and approach information on the vehicle from behind, The rear-end collision is prevented by urging the rear vehicle with appropriate attention. With the above configuration, when the vehicle speed and the approaching speed of the rear vehicle have a predetermined relationship, it is possible to notify the subsequent vehicle that the prevention of rear-end collision is urged. Since the driver's operation is not required at the time of notification, the driver's load does not increase, and the driver can concentrate on driving. Further, by automatically notifying when the speed of the vehicle and the approaching speed of the rear vehicle are in a predetermined relationship, the possibility that the notification is delayed and the rear vehicle collides is reduced.
In addition, by determining the reference values for speed and approach speed according to the road type (highway, general road, etc.), conditions for notification according to the driving state of the vehicle on the road can be set, and appropriate timing can be set. It becomes possible to perform notification.
According to claim 2, the vehicle-mounted control device of the present invention is a traffic jam information acquisition unit that acquires traffic jam information including traffic jam information, and the distance between the vehicle and the traffic jam point based on the map data and the current position of the vehicle. And a traffic congestion point approach determination means for determining whether or not the calculated distance between the traffic congestion point and the vehicle has approached within a predetermined distance. When it is determined that the traffic congestion point has been approached within a predetermined distance and the speed and approach speed are determined to exceed the reference value by the notification determination unit, the notification control unit notifies the notification unit. You can also.
With the above configuration, when a vehicle approaches and decelerates within a predetermined distance from a traffic jam point, it is possible to notify the following vehicle that approaches without knowing that the traffic is ahead. Since the driver's operation is not required at the time of notification, the driver's load does not increase, and the driver can concentrate on driving. In addition, by automatically notifying when the speed of the vehicle and the approaching speed of the rear vehicle have a predetermined relationship, the possibility that the notification is delayed and the rear vehicle collides is reduced.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the map data in the in-vehicle control device of the present invention includes position data of points where deceleration of the vehicle including intersections and curved roads is required, and a guide route from the current position of the vehicle to the destination is searched. The route search means, the notification point extraction means for extracting a point on the guide route where the vehicle needs to be decelerated, and the distance between the extracted point where the vehicle needs to be decelerated and the vehicle approached within a predetermined distance A deceleration point approach determining means for determining whether the vehicle has approached the deceleration point within a predetermined distance by the deceleration point approach determining means, and the speed and approach speed are set to reference values by the notification determining means. When it is determined that it has exceeded, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the notification control means causes the notification means to notify.
The above configuration includes points that require deceleration of the vehicle, such as intersections and curved roads, as well as traffic congestion points as points for performing the notification means, and at these points also prompts appropriate attention from the own vehicle to the rear vehicle. This is to prevent rear-end collisions. With the above configuration, when the vehicle approaches within a predetermined distance to a point where the vehicle needs to be decelerated, it is possible to notify the subsequent vehicle to that effect.
By the way, the vehicle navigation apparatus includes the traffic information acquisition means, the position detection means, and the map data storage means in the present invention, and the vehicle-mounted control apparatus of the present invention can be easily added by adding each means other than these. Can be configured. Therefore, it is not necessary to develop and manufacture a dedicated in-vehicle control device, and the in-vehicle control device of the present invention can be realized at a relatively low cost by a method of remodeling the vehicle navigation device.
The purpose of providing an in-vehicle control device that can grasp the traveling situation of the vehicle approaching from the rear of the host vehicle and can take appropriate avoidance measures according to the traveling situation is realized by using a vehicle navigation device. .

The position detector 1 has a known geomagnetic sensor 2, a gyroscope 3, a distance sensor 4, and a GPS receiver 5 for GPS that detects the position of the vehicle based on radio waves from a satellite. Since these sensors 2, 3, 4, and 5 have errors of different properties, they are configured to be used while being complemented by a plurality of sensors. Depending on the accuracy, a part of the sensors described above may be used, and further, a steering rotation sensor, a wheel sensor of each rolling wheel, or the like may be used. The position detector 1 corresponds to the position detecting means of the present invention.

The transceiver 13 (congestion information acquisition means of the present invention) receives road information including traffic information provided from the outside, for example, a VICS (Vehicle Information and Communication System)
In addition, connection to an external network is also possible by connecting a mobile communication device such as a

Furthermore, the external memory 9 (reference value storage means of the present invention) stores information and data necessary for the operation of the navigation device. The external memory 9 is configured to retain the stored contents even when the accessory switch of the vehicle is turned off (that is, the

(Warning Example 1)
Next, the flow of warning processing to the vehicle behind the navigation program 82p executed by the
First, as shown in the flowchart of FIG. 3, a radio wave is emitted backward from the
f=((V−u)/(V−v))×f0
When a radio wave is emitted toward a moving object, the reflected wave receives a frequency deviation (deviation from the original emission frequency) proportional to the moving speed of the object and returns (the so-called Doppler effect). If this Doppler effect is used, a relationship such as the following equation is established, so that the speed of the rear vehicle can be calculated.
f = ((V−u) / (V−v)) × f 0
Here, f: frequency of the reflected wave measured by the
If the speed (v) of the rear vehicle can be calculated, the approach speed of the rear vehicle can be obtained (S3). That is, approach speed = speed of vehicle 40 (u) −rear vehicle speed (v). When the approach speed becomes a positive value, it means that it is moving away from the rear vehicle, and when the approach speed becomes a negative value, it means that the rear vehicle is approaching.
In this embodiment, a detection method using a radar is used as an apparatus for detecting the approach of a rear vehicle. However, a rear monitoring camera (a distance between vehicles and an approach speed are calculated from captured rear image data of the rear vehicle). ) And communication between vehicles (data such as speed and traveling position is exchanged between vehicles) is also possible.
Next, as shown in the flowchart of FIG. 4, based on the current position of the
Then, referring to a warning content determination table (see FIG. 5, details will be described later), the warning content based on the type of road on which the
The warning content determination table (reference value of the present invention) in FIG. 5 is stored in the external memory 9. Major classification is made according to the road type (general road, highway, etc.), and in this major classification, the warning content for the rear vehicle is defined based on the speed of the host vehicle (vehicle 40) and the approach speed of the rear vehicle. The “situation” column in the warning content determination table of FIG. 5 is provided to explain the embodiment of the present invention. For example, if the road type is a highway, the traveling speed of the

Next, based on the current position of the
