Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a so-called in-wheel motor support structure in which a drive motor is disposed adjacent to a wheel of a wheel and particularly relates to a technique for effectively cooling the in-wheel motor with a simple configuration.
As an electric vehicle drive system, an in-wheel drive system in which a motor and a speed reducer are provided in a wheel of a wheel does not require a drive unit to be placed on a vehicle body side member, and the vehicle interior space can be widened, Since it is wheel independent drive, there is a feature that a driving sensation different from that of a conventional automobile can be obtained. In order to realize this in-wheel drive system, it is indispensable to reduce the size of the motor (hereinafter referred to as the in-wheel motor). However, if the motor volume is reduced while ensuring the output required for vehicle travel, the heat generated due to heat generation will be reduced. Since the temperature rise of a wheel motor becomes remarkable, cooling of an in-wheel motor becomes an important subject.
Since this torsion beam extends in the vehicle width direction and is easily subjected to traveling wind, the inventor of the present application is effective as a means for cooling the in-wheel motor by transferring heat generated by the in-wheel motor to the torsion beam. It came to recognize that there was.
As an invention in which an in-wheel drive type wheel and a trailing arm type suspension device are combined, there is conventionally known an invention such as that described in Patent Document 1, for example.
However, in the configuration where the in-wheel drive type wheel is suspended by the above-described conventional trailing arm type suspension device, the following problems occur. In other words, since the invention described in Patent Document 1 does not clearly disclose any heat countermeasures for the in-wheel motor, it cannot be practically used as it is. Further, since the torsion beam is twisted when the wheel is swung, the trailing arm is also slightly twisted. This torsion causes a relative movement between the mounting position of the in-wheel motor and the wheel, and twists and twists the gear meshing part and the shaft constituting the gear mechanism that transmits the output of the in-wheel motor to the wheel. These twists and twists repeatedly cause unnecessary wear on the gear mechanism, such as premature wear of the gear, and deteriorate durability.
The present invention proposes a technique for eliminating the above-described burden on the gear mechanism and effectively cooling the in-wheel motor with a simple configuration.
For this purpose, the support structure of the in-wheel motor according to the present invention is as described in claim 1,
A suspension having arm members attached to the left and right sides of the vehicle body so as to be swingable in the vertical direction and torsion beams erected integrally between the free ends of these arm members is provided, and wheels can be rotated at both ends of the torsion beams. In these vehicles, the left and right wheels are suspended from the vehicle body and the left and right wheels are independently driven by individual motors.
Both ends of the torsion beam are integrally provided with a reinforcement member,
The motor is supported in close contact with the reinforcement member.
According to the support structure of the present invention, in the torsion beam axle type suspension, the reinforcement members for increasing the rigidity of the attachment portions are provided at the attachment portions with the left and right wheels, and the wheels are driven by these reinforcement members. Because I installed an in-wheel motor to
Relative movement between the in-wheel motor and the wheel can be prevented, and the above-described burden on the gear mechanism can be eliminated.
In addition, since these left and right reinforcement members were attached so as to be in close contact with the torsion beam and the left and right in-wheel motors,
Heat generated from the in-wheel motor is efficiently transmitted to the torsion beam through the reinforcement member. Since the torsion beam extending in the vehicle width direction is susceptible to traveling wind, the heat of the torsion beam can be efficiently radiated and the in-wheel motor can be cooled with a simple and inexpensive configuration.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail based on examples shown in the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a suspension apparatus having an in-wheel motor support structure according to an embodiment of the present invention and a pair of left and right wheels suspended by the suspension apparatus. FIG. 2 is a side view of the suspension device and wheels shown in FIG. 1 as viewed from the left side of the vehicle.
The trailing arm 1L, which is on the left side of the vehicle and extends in the vehicle front-rear direction, is pivotally supported by a vehicle body side member (not shown) at its front end 2L, and is mounted so as to be swingable in the vehicle vertical direction with the front end 2L as a base end. It is done. A trailing arm 1R, which is on the right side of the vehicle and extends in the vehicle front-rear direction, is also pivotally supported by a vehicle body side member (not shown) at its
On the other hand, at the trailing end of the trailing arm 1L, the

FIG. 3 is a plan view showing the left motor mounting portion of the torsion
The three parts of the torsion
The
The

By the way, according to the present embodiment, in the torsion
In addition, the
Furthermore, if the fact that heat is efficiently conducted by a member having a large cross-sectional area is recognized, the
In particular, in this embodiment, the
In this embodiment, since the outer periphery of the

In the present embodiment, the same parts as those in the above-described embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, a description will be given of the new parts. Provides a
According to the present embodiment, the

The above-described effects can be similarly realized in other embodiments described below.
