本実施例では、本発明による複合材料を製造する。通常のフィルム押出成形技術を利用して、約70重量%のポリ(スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレン)ブロック共重合体エラストマー及び約30重量%のメタロセンポリエチレンプラストマーからなるブレンド物を押出成形する。約80重量%の超低密度ポリエチレン(VLDPE)及び約20重量%の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)の混合物からなる外側層Aとともに、このブレンド物をコア層Bとして共押出成形し、A/B/A構成のエラストマー性フィルムを形成する。
本実施例では、本発明による複合材料を製造する。90重量%のポリ(スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレン)ブロック共重合体エラストマー及び約10重量%のエチレンビニルアセテート共重合体からなるブレンド物を押出積層することによって、エラストマー性フィルムを形成する。伸縮性スパンボンド法ポリプロピレン不織ウェブを得られたエラストマー性フィルムの各フィルム表面に押出積層する。約60ポンド/インチのニップ線力を適用して、不織ウェブとエラストマー性フィルムとの間に強固な結合を形成する。約210°Fに予熱されたローラを使用して積層体を予熱し、次にロール係合深さを約0.130インチに設定した、CD噛み合い延伸を使用して、積層体を増分延伸する。

- 約25%以下の永久歪とともに、約200%以上の伸縮性を示す請求項1記載の複合材料。

- 前記内側のエラストマー性フィルムが、各表面でポリオレフィンキャップ層と共押出した、エラストマー性スチレンブロック共重合体を有するコア層を含有するものである請求項25記載の製造方法。
- 前記不織ウェブが、それぞれスパンボンド法ポリオレフィンからなるものである請求項25記載の製造方法。
- 各不織ウェブの重量が、約40g/m2未満である請求項25記載の製造方法。
- 各不織ウェブの重量が、約12g/m2である請求項25記載の製造方法。
- エラストマー性フィルムをそのフィルム表面の片面または両面で外側の不織ウェブに押出積層して、該エラストマー性フィルムに不織ウェブを強固に結合し、そして、得られた積層体を増分延伸して、該内側のエラストマー性フィルムの中にマクロ孔のランダムパターンを形成する通気性の弾性複合材料の製造方法であって、該エラストマー性フィルムが、孔形成用フィラーを実質的に含まないことを特徴とする通気性の弾性複合材料の製造方法。
