Abstract
【解決手段】 受信装置10は移動体に搭載され、送信エリア毎に配置された送信局から送信される送信信号を選択的に受ける。遅延プロファイル検出回路26は送信信号とこの送信信号が反射された遅延信号との相対的強度及び遅延時間を示す遅延プロファイルを検出し、制御回路29は遅延プロファイルに基づいて移動体が位置する受信環境を推定する。そして、制御回路は送信信号の受信品質と受信環境とに応じて現在受信中の送信信号を送信する送信局と別の送信局からの送信信号に受信切替を行う。

Description
まず、図1を参照して、ここでは、放送波として地上デジタル放送波を受信する受信装置について説明する。地上デジタル放送では、データ同一系列の放送を複数の地域(送信エリアという)で放送する際、各送信エリア毎に送信局(中継局)を設けて、親局とともにこれら送信局から地上デジタル放送波を送信している(例えば、同一系列の放送を複数の送信エリアで送信する際には、複数のチャネルを用いるMFN方式(Multi−Frequency Network:複数周波数中継)又は単一のチャンネルを用いるSFN方式(Single−Frequency Network:単一周波数中継)が用いられる。このため、車両等の移動体に搭載された受信装置で地上デジタル放送波を継続的に受信する際には、車両の移動に応じて受信装置で送信局を選局する必要がある。
まず、図6を参照して、送信局31〜33がそれぞれ都市部に配置され、送信局31〜33はそれぞれ送信エリアA1〜A3を有しているものとする。送信エリアA1〜A3は都市部エリアB1とこの都市部エリアB1の周辺に位置する郊外エリアC1とで規定されている。同様にして、送信エリアA2及びA3はそれぞれ都市部エリアB2及びB3と都市部エリアB2及びB3の周辺に位置する郊外エリアC2及びC3とで規定されている。
Claims (5)
- 移動体に搭載され、送信エリア毎に配置された送信局から送信される送信信号を選択的に受ける受信装置において、
前記送信信号と該送信信号が反射された遅延信号との相対的強度及び遅延時間を示す遅延プロファイルを検出する遅延プロファイル検出手段と、
前記遅延プロファイルに基づいて前記移動体が位置する受信環境を推定する受信環境推定手段と、
前記送信信号の受信品質を検出する受信品質検出手段と、
前記受信環境及び前記受信品質に応じて現在受信中の送信信号を送信する送信局と別の送信局からの送信信号に受信切替を行う受信切替制御手段とを有することを特徴とする受信装置。 - 受信品質検出手段は、少なくとも送信信号の受信強度又は搬送波対雑音比に応じて受信品質を検出することを特徴とする請求項1記載の受信装置。
- 受信品質検出手段は、送信信号を復調して得られた復調信号に係る変調誤り率、ビット誤り率、及び巡回冗長検査誤りの少なくとも一つに応じて受信品質を検出することを特徴とする請求項2記載の受信装置。
- 受信切替制御手段は、受信環境推定手段で推定される受信環境が変化したと判定すると、受信品質検出手段で検出される受信品質が予め規定された品質以下となった際、別の送信局からの送信信号に受信切替を行うことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のうちのいずれか1項記載の受信装置。
- 現在受信中の送信信号には、該受信中の送信信号を送信する送信局と当該送信局に隣接する送信局とが送信を行うチャンネルの周波数配置情報と各チャンネルで送信される放送番組を示す番組情報を有するチャネル配置データが含まれており、
受信切替制御手段は、前記チャネル配置データに応じて現在受信中の送信信号を送信する送信局と別の送信局を選択することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のうちのいずれか1項記載の受信装置。
