Abstract
Description
The present invention provides a plasma display panel in which a display-side glass substrate and a back-side glass substrate are disposed to face each other, and the peripheral edges of the opposed regions of the pair of glass substrates are hermetically bonded by a seal portion to form a discharge space therein. The present invention relates to a plasma display panel reuse system which is separated and reused while being conveyed by a conveyance unit.
In recent years, a plasma display panel (hereinafter referred to as “PDP”) has attracted attention as a high-definition, lightweight, and thin display device because the panel itself emits light and displays a bright image. FIG. 9A shows such a PDP. It is a perspective view and FIG.9 (b) shows the partial cross section figure (refer patent document 1).
As shown in FIG. 9A, in the
These display electrodes X and Y are composed of a wide transparent
On the other hand, address electrodes A are wired on the
The two
However, if the PDP described in
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and it is possible to recycle a low-cost PDP that can be efficiently and continuously performed from separation of a glass substrate of a PDP to be discarded to separation of a display element constituent material. The purpose is to provide a usage system.

According to this feature, the glass substrate can be easily separated with a small pressurized gas pressure as long as the remaining width of the seal portion is in the range of about 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm.
A plasma display panel reuse system according to
According to this feature, since the discharge gas injection port already provided is used, it is not necessary to form the injection port again.

The seal portion is cut while leaving the outer electrode forming side of the substrate.
According to this feature, since the outer electrode forming side of the glass substrate is not cut, a large reusable area of the glass substrate can be left.
A plasma display panel reuse system according to a fifth aspect of the present invention is the plasma display panel reuse system according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, wherein the display element constituting material is peeled off both glass. FIG. 8 is a flow chart relating to the system of the present invention.
First, the PDP will be described with reference to FIG. 1 and FIG.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The sealed space has a plurality (thousands of units) of unit light-emitting regions U, and the internal structure of one of the unit light-emitting regions U is formed on the
These display electrodes S and T are composed of a wide transparent conductive film 8 and a
On the other hand, on the
The two
In this way, each unit cell constituting the display screen is associated with three unit light emitting regions U having the same area in the line direction. In each unit light emitting region U, a surface discharge cell (a main discharge cell for display) is defined by the display electrodes S and T, and a display or non-display cell is specified by a potential with the address electrode E. As a result, it is possible to selectively emit light corresponding to each unit light emitting region U among the
Therefore, when the
As shown in FIG. 3, the inner surfaces of both
By adopting such a cutting means, the outer electrode forming both side portions X1, X2 of the
Further details regarding the cutting of the sealing
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5A, the
As a moving method of the
The sealing
By undergoing the above-described cutting process, the
When the
As shown in FIG. 7A, the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7B, the
In this way, not only the pure parts of the
Next, the plasma display panel reuse system according to the present invention will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
First, the
Next, the
The
A plurality of (seven in this embodiment) rotating diamond wheels G arranged in two rows are laterally arranged in the peeling portion (e), and the substrate passes through the diamond wheel G, whereby the constituent elements of the display element are transferred. It is peeled off. At the time of peeling, it is preferable to always spray cooling water from the peripheral surface of the diamond wheel G. The substrate after the stripping operation is unloaded from the
According to the reuse system as described above, simultaneous cutting is possible by using two cutters for cutting, and it is only necessary to inject a pressurized fluid in the separation work, and both pairs of both substrates are used. Display element constituent materials including electrodes attached to the contact surface can be surely peeled off by simply laying a plurality of diamond wheels, and no expensive special tools are used. Can be completed.
As described above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described with reference to the drawings. However, the specific configuration is not limited to these examples. For example, the order of use of the cutters is the opposite to that described in the examples. Alternatively, the outer electrode forming both side portions X3 and X4 of the
