More specifically, the present invention has a new function of giving comfort to a user's mind and body by utilizing therapeutic power against physiological and psychological symptoms. The present invention relates to a fragrance composition.

In modern society, there are many factors that cause transient mental stress, and diseases caused by stress are increasing. Therefore, various methods for relieving stress have been developed. In particular, there is a great interest in aromatherapy using fragrance, which is popular as a means for creating a comfortable environment in, for example, a stressful workplace or public place. Also in the cosmetics industry, fragrance effects in cosmetics have been demonstrated in consideration of psychological factors including stress reflecting such a tendency.

Therefore, the present inventors examined what effect the fragrance extracted from various plants has on the physiological and psychological state of the human body. In the present invention, first, a fragrance composition (essential oil base) that reproduces the natural scent to the maximum was prepared. And the physiological signal in an electroencephalogram (EEG), an autonomic nervous system (ECG (electrocardiogram)), SKT (skin temperature), and GSR (skin resistance) was measured with respect to this fragrance | flavor. As a result, it was found that the fragrance (essential oil base 9) provided by the present invention has a physiological and psychological therapeutic effect on the human body, thereby completing the present invention.

That is, an object of the present invention is to provide a fragrance composition having a physiological / psychological therapeutic effect on the human body.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition having a stress relieving and sedative effect by containing the above fragrance composition.

To achieve the above object, the present invention comprises a fragrance composition comprising lemon oil, pine oil, lavender oil, orange oil, eucalyptus oil, geranium oil, rosemary oil, ylang ylang oil and armows oil. In the present invention, in order to investigate the physiological and psychological treatment effects by the above-described fragrances, the average frequency of α waves and the slope of the fluctuation rhythm in the left and right frontal regions are compared, and a series of physiological signals -ECG, SKT, GSR- was measured. As will be apparent from the results of the experimental examples described later, by using the above-described compound incense of the present invention, the inclination of the fluctuation rhythm in the left and right frontal areas tends to increase significantly, and the right brain (excitement, The left brain (related to pleasure and discomfort) showed a more prominent tendency than that related to sedation. That is, the composition of the composite fragrance in the present invention has a sedative effect while providing stress relaxation. Further, in the measurement of other physiological signals, the composite fragrance composition of the present invention has a therapeutic effect on physiological and psychological symptoms. As described above, the cosmetic composition of the present invention can provide a stress relieving and sedative effect by containing the complex fragrance as an active ingredient.

The cosmetic composition containing the fragrance composition according to the present invention as an active ingredient is not particularly limited in its dosage form, but desirably it is provided as an oil-in-water type. This is because the scent is mainly dissolved in the oil phase, and the oil-in-water type is preferable for gradually releasing the scent. Furthermore, when applied to the skin, the oil-in-water type is more oily. Compared to the medium water type, it is less sticky and provides a smooth and comfortable feeling.

In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the fragrance composition is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 1.0% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the fragrance is less than 0.1% by weight, it is difficult to expect a scent effect, and if it exceeds 1.0% by weight, a skin irritation may appear, which is not preferable. From such a viewpoint, the fragrance composition is preferably contained in an amount of 0.2 to 0.4% by weight, and more preferably 0.25% by weight.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically through experimental examples and examples. However, the present invention is not limited to these examples.
